Description of Work: While we did not get past the initial discussion on my remodel project, Scott was very helpful and willing to talk and give advice over the phone. I found him very straight forward and pragmatic, giving me useful tips for navigating a remodeling project.

+ 0 moreReally good at first. The work was done promptly, and he was very courteous. However after it was done I realized that you could see the sanding marking in the wood (it wasn't sanding with a finished grade afterwards) and the stain was very uneven. Also there was a couple of boards that should have been replaced that were not. My neighbor came by and suggested that I have parts redone, when I mentioned this they he said it couldn't be done.
Description of Work: Replaced some boards and refinished the hardwood floor in my house about 700-800 sqft. Stained and finished.

+ 2 moreScott is amazing. He is an artist with his work. He has wonderful ideas if you have none of your own, or he corroborates well with you if you do know what you want. He is professional, timely and is a wonderful teacher. If you have any questions about remodeling or what he is doing; he is able to explain the process so you can understand what he is creating and why. Another trait I enjoyed about Scott's work was his tidiness. He cleaned up all of his mess after each project was completed or at the end of every day. Best of all he and his team are wonderful people, so you don't mind leaving them in your house when you are away. You would be very lucky to acquire Scott to do you work.
Description of Work: Scott re-faced our kitchen cabinets, put a beautiful backsplash in and installed a bar. He also painted the walls and put in crown molding. He tore out the shelving in our pantry and built new shelves as well as putting in a new door. He had to build a cabinet above our stove so the microwave could attach to it. He found glass for the doors that matched our new pantry door. He painted our stair case walls and hall as well as all of our bedrooms. He created a beautiful staircase with new balusters and bookcases. He also installed new tiling for the floors and wall in our guest bath as well as in our master bathroom. He created a beautiful new shower for us in the master bath and refaced the cabinetry. New sliding glass doors were installed in our master bedroom as well as the upstairs hallway. He created a beautiful front doorway from a discarded door that a friend gave to us.
