Professional TV Mounting

Quality installation that was overpriced. I was in too big of hurry to comparison shop. Installation was well done, but in our market I could get similar service for substantially less. My fault for not getting at least 3 competitive bid prior.

I contacted Billy yesterday 8-25-16 about mounting my tv from all the positive reviews and an actual reference from a friend who used him and was surprised at the lack of professionalism this person displayed! We only texted as when I called he never called back and only texted me but stated he would be at my house between 4pm and 6pm, at 6pm I texted him asking if he changed his mind and he said he would be at my house in about 30 minutes, well he didn't arrive till after 8pm and honestly seemed like he was on something as he was bouncing around and talking really fast etc. I was not comfortable with him at that moment to do the work and when I referenced a text he made to me about the job he stated that he didn't know what I was talking about and that his "girl" must have sent it? so I suggested we do it the next day Friday 8-26-16 and he agreed and said he was open all day with no appointments. I asked when he wanted to come back that maybe a nights rest would be good, he stated in the morning and I said fine what time, he told me 11am I said great sounds good Ill be here as I work from home. Well Friday 11am came nothing, 12pm came nothing, so I went on about my day as needed and never heard from him until I texted him at about 6pm telling him how unprofessional he was making me wait 4 plus hours on Thursday and then on Friday not showing up at the time he said he would be here etc, he replied to my text stating he sent me a text ( which he never did ) and upon informing him that no text was ever received he still stated he did ( most common excuse to blame text ), at that point I informed him that a 20 second phone call couldn't have been that difficult to make if he really wanted my business. He might be a good installer for some but his business ethic sucks as I lost 6 hours waiting and never once could he be troubled to call me and communicate. Guess he wanted to have a 3 day weekend or he just didn't need or care about fulfilling the job. Found someone else as good if not better and for a better price!

Billy has such a great and friendly personality. It is truly a pleasure to get service from someone like billy. He did a great job. He uses lasers to get an exact measurement. A little fact- he has done over 3000k TVs- so if you're in Austin and if you're going to mount your TV- call him. Our TV looks great. Thanks Billy! Hector and Paola

Short story: Made things right, very professional, great job, went above and beyond and left a clean work area. I would call him again when needed. Very conscientious about his work and customer service. My ratings are based on his work (not his assistant's) Long story: A cabinet/bookcase was just installed and I called next day hoping to get my TV wall mounted before out of town company arrived. I live in Round Rock and even though the site said that they come up to the Round Rock area is only on weekends, and even though he was already booked, I got a email response within hours that they could do the work Thursday evening. I have to say it initially didn't go well as Billy was running late and an assistant (who lives in RR) came instead, which was fine, but he wasn't really prepared to do the work. We agreed he would come back Friday morning 9-9:30am and wall mount the TV. He called about 11:30 and said he was having a late breakfast but would be headed my way. I had a full day of errands and had stayed home for him to come back as agreed. So I emailed Billy, explained the problem and asked to reschedule when he could come rather than his assistant. The assistant showed up at my door about noon or so and I did not answer the door. Billy called a little after noon and apologized for the confusion and he would come install now or at whatever time I wanted. We agreed he would come Saturday evening. My plans changed and I emailed him that he could come anytime Saturday afternoon and he came about 4pm and did the work. He even spent quite a bit of time trying to find some speaker wires hidden behind the cabinet (no such luck). He tested the TV and cable set-up and made sure everything was working correctly. I would call on him again when needed but would want only him to do the work.

Billy was very responsive to emails and questions about what equipment I would need to mount the TVs. He was prompt and very fast. He also hid the wires for both TVs in the walls. Billy was also willing to hang a large, heavy mirror I had asked him for advice on hanging. I would definitely use Billy's services again.

I used the web contact form and left my cell phone number, and Billy got back with me promptly by text message. Through an exchange of messages, he came up with a better solution than the one I was looking at for a TV that needed to be mounted about 24 inches from wall. His suggestion is more sturdy and saved me a couple of hundred dollars. He came out the next night with one helper and knocked the job out in about an hour. The TV looks great!

Nothing was accomplished due to the fact he didn't have the proper mounting tools for our Flat screen. He never asked me what type of model it was before coming over to do the job. I only told him what size the flat screen it was.

I would definitely hire him again. The TV looks awesome on the wall, and he was able to hide the cables in the wall without a problem.

Since submitting my initial request for a quote and arrange an installation on Dec 5, 2012, I never received a quote using the business's online form; never received a return phone call from a message I left; and never received replies from direct emails on two attempts. I found this business via Angie's List as A+ rating. I don't agree at all. The business's web site indicates the following, but showed zero responsiveness and professionalism. My experience was F for lousey. YOU WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE TO LEAVE A MESSAGE IF YOU CALL IT IS USUALLY EASIER FOR ME IF YOU E-MAIL BUT IF YOU WANT TO GET THE BALL ROLLING RIGHT AWAY, PLEASE CONSIDER FILLING OUT THE SHORT FORM

I called him and he was able to fit me in on the SAME DAY! Also, his rate was about a quarter to a third of what everyone else was charging for the same work. Billy showed up on time, got right to work and in no time he had the TV mounted solidly and perfectly. He didn't try to push unnecessary services and hardware, which I thought was great. I'm extremely happy with the work. He was knowledgeable, experienced, and very professional. I had some questions about other stuff and he was able to answer them. Nice guy, too! The price was just what he had quoted. Don't waste your time and money with anyone else. There's no prestige in paying too much! You won't regret hiring this guy and will be pleased with the results.
