PRECISION INSPECTION

First and foremost, Bob arrived a few minutes early and had everything set up for the inspection by the time I got there. I was on a tight schedule and so I really appreciated how punctual he was. Bob inspected the house, and right then and there printed out a report for me. That night I received an email with pictures and diagrams of everything he had found that needed to be fixed. This was my first time buying a house, so I appreciated how thorough he was. As it turns out, we did end up purchasing the house, and we just forwarded Bob's report to the seller, who agreed to provide us with an allowance to fix various items. We absolutely love our home and Bob made us feel so comfortable by providing detailed explanations and pictures of everything he saw that needed to be fixed. If you want someone who is honest, thorough, and extremely punctual and efficient, I definitely recommend contacting Bob and Precision Inspection. He will definitely inspect every house we purchase as long has he is in the business! I feel so blessed to have found him!

For the most part, OK, however I have two complaints: 1. Bob showed up significantly earlier than our pre-agreed time and did not give me ample notification (less than 1 hour notice that he was arriving early). Thus, he was already performing the inspection when I arrived, whereas I wanted to be there for the entire inspection to ask questions. 2. Bob failed to report a noticeable sloping floor on the 2nd floor of the house. The Standards of Practice for inspectors in Texas clearly states that floor slopes should be reported. I did not notice this myself until after purchasing the house. I was extremely disappointed as this is a potential sign of foundation movement and this is precisely the kind of thing we hire an inspector to catch in the first place.

He is prompt, timely, very friendly and didn't mind my stupid questions. He volunteered information both times about home upkeep and was very through in explaining the items that he called out on his report. I would absolutely use Bob again for any future home inspections. He is well worth the price and is a sane addition to a frantic home search.

Bob is one of the most thorough and knowledgeable inspectors that I've ever dealt with. Even when someone else used him to inspect a home we were selling, he found things that other inspectors hadn't. He is dependable, very precise, and will take the time to explain every detail. He does the report immediately, he is very timely and accurate, and he answers any questions that you have. He is one the best inspectors I've ever seen and I've purchased and sold about 10 homes. We've used him for selling a home and for purchasing a home, he is that good! Don't trust other inspectors until you've tried him, he is so honest and reliable, I can't say enough nice things about him. He knows all of the codes and everything. We normally do not recommend anyone, out of concern for our own reputation, but he is that good.
