Todd did a complete AC check inside and out, cleaned the coils, added refrigerant, inspected the system. He noted the water overflow system was set too low so any water would overflow instead of triggering the system to turn off. He attached a small piece of pipe to correct this at no extra cost. Todd was very personable and informative and pleasant. I would Precision any time for any problem with my AC.

I bought a Precision Heating & AC coupon on Angie's list, but I did not hear from Precision, so I called them. The woman who answered the phone stated that I had bought the wrong coupon. My AC is working, but not as well as it should. She said I should have bought the diagnostic coupon, not the tune-up coupon. She was uninterested in correcting the problem at her end; she was satisfied in telling me what I could do to meet their criteria: contact Angie's List for a refund and buy the right coupon or come to their office for the right service.

They are very knowledgeable and professional.

Each visit was the same technician which I originally liked. After the first 2 visits my trust faded. On one visit we had a water leak issue all around the unit. The technician said that he didn't know what caused it but he thought he fixed it. Well, he didn't. We are in the process of removing flooring from all around our unit because of this idiot. Not only was there a leak in the roof where the AC vent came out, there were also drain leaks. Basically for the past few months water has been slowly leaking into the floors around our AC unit which is of course located in the middle of our house. Thanks to A+ Energy Management, it looks like we can finally dry out. Please do not use this ridiculously incompetent company. They will waste your money and try to sell you a whole new unit.

It went very well. The service was prompt, professional and excellent! The technician was on his game the whole time. He earned an A+.

Diagnostic summary addressed all the issues found with HVAC units concluding what we had suspected; the HVAC units need replacement versus repairs.

An all-around excellent experience. Scheduling was easy. When I had to postpone to take care of an unexpected rodent problem, the office was communicative and good with follow-up. The technicians were prompt and professional. A couple weeks after the work was done I discovered a loose connection on the duct they replaced. I called the office and they honored their warranty, sending someone to make it right that very same day. That's good professionalism.

Knowing we were not happy with our situation, Precision Heating & Air, LLC. came to our rescue...from Chris the Tec who found our problems & Troy the salesman who patiently explained our options & came back to answer more questions, to Mandolin & Eric who came on Mothers Day and spent their whole day installing our new equipment. They were friendly, cleaned up their mess, worked well together, & explained how to use the system, We are now comfortable & happy we chose this company to do the work.

Arrived on time. Did what was expected.

Easy to get in contact with. Showed up a bit earlier than anticipated, but the technician called ahead of time to make sure it was okay. Was respectful of me and my home, and explained my options clearly.

I purchased a big deal and was never contacted. It feel off my radar until the tenant complained of still having ac issues and it was too late to cancel for a refund. I called my usual company who came out next day. I will definitely avoid big deals in the future.

The technician came on time to perform maintenance on my two HVAC units. He was professional and explained everything on my systems.

This is a long overdue review for a new AC installation job Precision Heating and Air did for us last February. We have a two story, 3400 sqft house that had only one zone and my husband's office and my daughter's bedroom were always too hot (both south and west facing). We were looking for options to cool these rooms separately from the rest of the house, and had talked to three different AC companies about installing ductless spit system units in those two rooms (while keeping our then existing central AC) vs. a complete overhaul and install a Carrier Infinity system which would split the whole house into different zones and control each zone separately. The other two AC companies were ok with installing the ductless split units (which would cost less than the overhaul), but Corey from Precision AC was the only one who felt strongly about doing it right from the start and not wasting time and money on the ductless split units which were cheaper in the short term but not the best solution for us long term. I appreciated him recommending the right solution instead of taking our money to do a job that he knew we would not be happy with. He was very confident and knowledgeable, given his extensive experience in the AC industry as well as specific experiences in installing the multi-zone Carrier Infinity system. His quote was not the lowest in terms of price but we felt that we could trust him to do a good job. Corey's team of installers (James, Nathanael, Sergio, and Justin) were very professional and worked long hours during the installation, and finished the job in only three and half days even though the estimate was longer. I was very concerned about fiberglass fallout, and Corey's team took good care cleaning up the floors of the rooms they were in. We had a walk through the day it was finished when Corey and team showed us how to program the control panel and answered our question, and some days later Corey came back to answer more of my questions and made some adjustments to the settings. In summary, Corey and his team did a great job with the installation, and afterward we were always taken care of by customer service when we had minor issues or made changes. The office staff is friendly over the phone and timely with scheduling service calls. The service technicians are different from the installation crew, but always professional and friendly as well. Now my husbands office and my daughter's bedroom (along with her bathroom and another bedroom) have their own zones and we can cool them separately as needed. Overall it had been a great experience working with Precision Heating and Air and we highly recommend them!

High marks for all the staff at Precision. From Troy in sales, to the office staff, to EJ and Joel who did the installation, they answered our questions, informed us of the process, were patient with our concerns and completed a moderately difficult installation in a timely fashion. I would especially commend Precision and Troy, EJ and Joel to any who are in the market for a new AC system.

They did what they were supposed to be doing. There was no additional cost.

Like clockwork. Installed both thermostats and inspected the system.

I did not like it. They came and checked my air conditioning unit and a week later, it was completely broken, after they had told me it was fine. They came out and told me it would be $800 to fix. Someone else ended up fixing it for $75. So, I would not recommend them. We didn't even have them come back to service the heating on the unit. They were very responsive.

They were great. I was extremely pleased. They did a great job.

I called them on a Saturday to find out if they could send a tech on Monday. That day was a holiday and I asked it they had higher rates on a holiday and they did not. I did not view this as an emergency since the other half of my house was heated by a different unit and there was no danger of any pipes freezing. The tech arrived at the scheduled time on the holiday and he spent a great deal of time diagnosing the problem. He tried all the simple fixes and after exhausting all the possibilities concluded that the control board needed replacement. I was fine with that since the board on my other heating unit had failed 8 years ago and cost about the same amount. They got the part the next day and installed it promptly. Everything is working fine. He did not make a mess and he was very professional and respectful. The person handling my order over the phone was knowledgeable and she arranged for the service call in a very efficient manner. I will use them again if I have HVAC issues.

-- 02/08/16 Update -- Went to their office to discuss the issue about the charges, miscommunication and ultimately reconciled. All in all, I like trying different companies on Angie's list and believe they will work to earn and keep your service and business. If you schedule something with them or anyone for that matter, keep in mind NOT to wait like I did if you haven't heard from them on the scheduled day of service when you expect them. Call to reconfirm even if scheduled already. There's room for improvement for both business and customer to communicate, communicate, communicate. If you pay for parts, the cost most likely is a flat fee that includes charges for installation and/or product stock to be on their van. Additionally from what I understand, the parts are covered for a year warranty. It would be nice if they broke out all the fees but it is what it is. Good luck! -- 02/05/16 Update -- I received a call today and they explained: The "flat rate charge" and that the part cost is actually a bit high but includes the service charges for installation and the costs it would take to have the driver go get the part...but instead they keep parts in stock on the truck/van.The invoice says it's just for the part but really it's for more... -- Modified Original Review -- Received call 2/2/16 in the morning to schedule as requested on web. (requested they call to schedule on that day) Setup time for them to show up. Their time window for an afternoon service is 12-5pm...pretty wide. Waited at home from 12-5pm. Apparently missed call while driving home at 12pm and eventually called them at 3pm to let them know I was home. Once confirmed I was home, they notified the tech. Tech called at 4pm stating will show up at 5pm. He showed up, found the problem was the ignitor and fixed it. The price was kinda high but they did find the problem and fixed it the same day.

It was great. It was a awesome experience. They were very responsive and had great customer service. They were able to come out THE SAME DAY i called them. He was very knowledgeable and informative and gave his professional opinion. It was done fast and my heater works well!

The guy came out and checked the unit and then I was on the phone with the girl friend online and she said, 'Can I try to sell you some freon?' The next thing he came in and tried to sell me some extra freon. They tried to sell me things I don't need. They were fine. He was professional.

My renter reported that the provider told that the coupon bought was for repairs and not for service and requested 30$ addictionally for the service, which I reimbursed to the renter

I got several bids to replace my entire HVAC system, and went with these guys despite them being over $1,000 more than the other bids. Why? I was more impressed with the time they spent during the visit to give the estimate. They spent time looking over everything, taking covers off, taking measurements, etc, while the other two companies were here and gone in 10 minutes. They asked me at least a half-dozen questions about how I used the system, what I was looking for in a new system, etc. I felt like they really understood the scope of work (getting it to fit in my attic, for one thing), and their bid included a few things that others apparently like to leave out and charge you for later (filter boxes for example). They were able to get to us quickly also, which was a plus. Finally, the installers --Joel, James, and Shawn -- were very courteous and professional on the job. They covered all the floors, didn't dent or scratch anything (tough to do when you are moving a big old hunk of metal out of the attic), and cleaned up pretty well afterwards. They were here for a solid 12 hours due to a complex install, and they were working the whole time. I thought they did a fantastic job, and my new system is humming along just fine two weeks later. Well worth the extra money to get the level of service I received. Thanks Corey!
