+ -1 moreWe had a very complicated 2008 tax return and needed expert assistance. As expatriate American tax payers for twelve years prior, we had our taxes done by a firm contracted by my husband's corporation while we lived overseas. After returning to the US and selling a vacation home in Florida, our tax obligation was large. We worked with Jim Smolik and his assistant, and they applied every break they could to assist us. We still ended up paying a huge tax bill to the IRS, but I think they did a good job.
Description of Work: They prepared our 2008 tax return, using all the information we provided them. We were late filing our return due to reporting items we had not received in a timely manner. They filed an extension for us and prepared our taxes in six weeks after receiving the necessary data.
