They never answered their phone!

Patriot was a great company to work with. Mine was a small job but I will definitely call them when my fence is ready to be replaced.

They cleaned up after themselves, were the lowest bid and it is premium quality. The workers were continuous with stone work and with the weather monitor.

After some initial difficulties scheduling a consultation/estimate, I had basically written off Patriot as a candidate to replace my fence. Out of the blue one day (a day after my initial review), Jameson showed up at my home to provide an estimate, which was not a big issue considering that I work from home. Since my experience obtaining estimates from other fence companies had failed to impress and I was desperate to replace the fence(it was falling down after recent heavy winds), I decided to proceed with the estimate. Good thing because Patriot's estimate was several hundred dollars less than any of the other estimates I received. So I crossed my fingers, put down a deposit and hoped that there would not be any more difficulties. Things went fairly well from there. The communication/responsiveness was much improved and, overall, I am very happy with the quality of the fence itself. It took nearly 3 full days to complete, which I attribute to dedicating only 2 men to the job (and one of them was absent half of day 3). They did have to redo one section that appeared to be thrown up at end of the final day (coincidentally when I left to run some errands), but the 2nd attempt was much improved. The biggest complaint that I have is that many of the posts from the old fence were broken off rather than removed. I could have lived with that if they were broken off below ground level, but that was not the case. They did come back to address that, but it was only a half-assed attempt and is only marginally better.

Fabulous experience with Patriot Fence. Extremely high winds broke two of my fence posts and brought down three panels, which meant I could not let my dogs into the yard and had to keep them confined. Fences were down all over town which meant it was an exceptionally busy time, and I tried two other companies who wouldn't even return my calls. Patriot has a wonderful office staff who took my call and went above and beyond to squeeze my job into the schedule because of my dogs. They provided an accurate estimate, arrived when they said they would, and completed the repairs quickly and neatly. They even rolled up the mesh I had tacked to the fence in a failed attempt to contain my puppies. This was a wonderful resolution for a very inconvenient event. I will be calling Patriot when it is time to replace the fence. I could not be happier with their responsiveness and the work they did.

Set up appointment to get an estimate and made arrangements to get off work to meet them. They never showed up and never called to say they would be late or to reschedule. Very undependable and totally unprofessional.

I never received a response to my request for a quote to replace my existing fence. Approximately 260 linear feet of fence 160 of iron so a large job. I sent two requests through Angie's list and never received an email or phone call. I cannot believe they have such a high rating.

Jameson was quick to answer my call and was prompt on the appointment to look over the fence - super knowledgeable and obviously knows the fencing business. Never gave me a bid/price even though I even called back the next week. I would have to assume their business was thriving at the time and he did not need the business/money.

Good news: They had the lowest bid of all the companies I got estimates from. Jameson came to the house for an estimate, and on the day the work was done, he started the day by instructing his workers on the details of the work needing to be done, and checked on them several times. The workers all seemed experienced enough to proceed without supervision. Jameson was always polite and very easy to work with. The company offers a 2 year warranty, and I have used the warranty twice this year to have a free adjustment on my gate. Jameson explained that the wood posts can warp (just part of the natural aging process), and twice he came out and adjusted the gate (which would not open due to warping). Both times he told me they wanted to make sure their customers were happy, and he was very agreeable, and was quick and also efficient in repairing the problem. Not so great: For the estimate and the day the work was completed, Jameson was running late, and I had to call the office to find out if they were coming. I'm big on punctuality, and would just like to suggest a phone call to let your client know if you are running late. Also, I was told during an estimate from another company that knotholes in the wood would probably cause the wood to warp or crack faster. I did go with the lowest bid (and you get what you pay for), but I did notice many of the pickets used did have knotholes. The fence still looks great a year after installation-but something to consider before the work is done. Overall, I am quite pleased with the work done, and my experiences dealing with the company.

The guys who built the fence were on time, incredibly hard working, and did a great job.

Good experience, we'll use Patriot Fence if we purchase a home needing a fence.

I was impressed with Juan who came out to consult us on the many projects that we had. He gave us very helpful information and had an eye for detail. However, the rest of my experience with Patriot Fence went down hill from there. After several requests by phone and emails, incomplete quotes would slowly trickle in. I dreaded having additional questions for them as they would take days to reply. The excuses they would offer for the delays were very unprofessional, many times including information from their personal lives. In the end I was happy with the quotes for some of the jobs but not all. I was told that I had to do all or nothing. Very unprofessional and difficult people to deal with and a WASTE of my time!!

Patriot was easy to schedule with, came out when they said they would be here, and did an exceptional job!

I highly recommend Patriot Fence Company. Austin Johlke, the project manager who supervised the job, was on time, worked fast, yet paid attention to detail - not to mention worked well within the guidelines of our property code. Patriot's owner, Jameson, was very willing to negotiate beyond our original bid for additional items and modifications to the original plan. GREAT JOB PATRIOT!

Called and left 2 messages. Never heard back from them...going with another company.

I called for an estimate and got an appointment in 3 days. Later they called and said they had someone available for the following day. I accepted but the next morning they changed the appointment again, saying the man was sick and it would be later that day. The original time came and someone showed up(I'm glad I was home). I tried to ask questions about different material and size and he always answered what ever you want. The guy was very nice and he said he would give three estimates because I didn't know if I wanted the whole fence done or just parts. They only sent one estimate for the whole fence and it was above the other two I got from other companies.

Juan and Aaron were excellent. They were always on time. They were professional and have great customer service. They answered any question I had. Several of my neighbors came by and asked about the fence and asked who did the installation. One of my neighbors even came by and asked Aaron some questions and then Aaron's business card for an estimate. My new fence looks beautiful. I would highly recommend Patriot Fence and Construction.

The crew was professional, friendly, and very considerate of us and also of our neighbors. They went above and beyond the call of duty in clearing the site to prepare it. Their work is beautiful and they really made sure every aspect of our design was executed exactly how it should be.

Every aspect of this experience was just as it should be. Juan estimated the job and oversaw the work from start to finish - he was easy to work with and made each step of the process easy. An installation date was set, and on that day, workers arrived at 7:30 and worked (in temperatures over 100 degrees) steadily. They worked with precision, measuring carefully as each post was put in place. When the work was completed, they cleaned the yard and did not leave until I had inspected and approved the work. The next day, just as agreed upon, the old fencing was hauled off. Patriot Fence earned the highest rating I can give. In addition to the great service, Patriot also built a beautiful fence that I'll be proud of for years to come.

I needed to get my backyard fence replaced. It was leaning over in places and generally in pretty bad shape; an eye sore to say the least. I hired Patriot Fence to do the work. They cheerfully and promptly addressed all my questions, and scheduling concerns. They were fast and professional while always paying attention to quality and detail. From start to finish, Juan and his team did an outstanding job, never sacrificing on the quality of materials and workmanship. I had a sense they were invested in providing an excellent product and a satisfied customer. I am very pleased with my new fence and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Patriot fence delivered the best cost and included everything we needed, removal of previous fence, new fence materials, recycling of what could be salvaged of the old fence and complete instalation. The workers that showed up were not very attentive to details, ( the top edge of the new fence was clearly crooked on a straight segment, and if I wouldn't have mentioned it they maybe would have left it like that) but the owner/boss got involved after a phone call I placed and the problems were solved, but it took longer be ause of these problems; also, where they placed the fixed column ( with concrete in the ground) they were not very neat about it, I didnt mind too much because of the foliage that was going to be covering this area, but it should be done with a little extra care.

It all went as we'd expect: I called them up, they gave us a better quote of the two contractors who bid, they did the work promptly. I only have two minor concerns: First, they could have communicated a little better as to exactly which day they would come by; it was a little bit of a surprise when they came by, but a pleasant surprise. Second, and again this is minor, it would be better if the two gates had 2x4 reinforcements on the vertical edges - hinge and latch sides. Without them, we have noticed slight warpage of the picket on the latch side, meaning that the lower edge of the gate is slightly bowed outward. All in all, though, we're very happy with their work.

Excellent price and service. We'll definitely be using them for future projects. Only point of concern was a tree that seemed to be hastily trimmed to make the fence fit. Kind of wish they would have asked and given us the option to decide how best to trim it.

Could not have asked for a harder working crew. The first afternoon, Dale and Aaron removed the old fence and dug 17 holes (by hand), each at least 2 1/2 feet deep, then set 10 foot metal posts with two "80" lb bags of concrete in each hole. The temperature was 105 degrees on that day. The second day, they dug two more holes and set the posts. Then installed three fence rails and over 130 feet of fence boards. The temperature on the 2nd day was 109 degrees. And they hauled off all of the old fencing. Throughout the construction they continually checked with me to ensure the work was as I intended.

Our fence was installed and looks beautiful. Great job on fence; was done by professionals. While installing fence they covered one of our sprinkler heads with cement which of course broke the sprinkler and caused a leak. I called project manager and he placed a work order with his supervisor and a sprinkler guy was sent over to repair. I have no complaints about this company.
