Merlin was great. He was very professional and attentive to detail. The fence was a little more than we wanted to spend but the quality was well worth it. I'm very pleased with the final product.

Both times James has done great work and been easy to work with. Prompt responses to all contact, easy to understand quotes available shortly after inspection, and all questions answered clearly. The crew comes on time and leaves the work site clean. The wood fence is over a year old and sturdy as can be. The repaired gate works and looks great. His prices are competitive and definitely a good value for the quality of work.

i have had to resort to legal action in an attempt to get Jameson Thornton to respond and correct these fraudulent results. I suggest you find anyone besides Patriot Fence to build your Fence. If you do decide to work with Patriot, make sure the proper property line is agreed upon between you, the fence builder, and your neighbor -- regardless of how trusting they may seem. If Mr. Thornton and Patriot Fence make repairs as outlined in the letter sent via my attorney for me on 12/4/2015 I will remove this negative review. BEWARE!!!!!!!

These guys are awesome. Very good at communicating and their price was on point. They sent 2 guys out, which I was skeptical at first, but they were finished with 260 ft of fence in 4 days and really did some quality work. Met all my expecatations. I'll be recommending them to others going forward.

It was a very smooth experience from start to finish. The estimator came out as scheduled. We went through options and then Kayla at Patriot sent us a quote with some of the options we discussed so we could "a la carte" pick which way we wanted to go (such as with wooden or steel braces, etc.). Kayla was very thorough about options via email and responsive to any questions. The work was done to schedule, and we are happy with the quality of the work. We were sent a survey after to make sure we were satisfied with their work. It was a good experience end to end, and I'd use them again for other fencing needs.

This friendly, local business is family owned and operated. They were able to provide a quote over the phone and the work was done in the time frame we had agreed. The job was completed as expected - (I did hang around to make sure the installer understood what I wanted.) at a reasonable rate! The entire staff was friendly and helpful and kindly amended as I flipped and flopped between options. Thank you Jameson and Patriot Fence for my lovely new gate.

They were the lowest cost provider. Jameson seemed standard, get details, give quote, move onto the next job. 1) They did not follow the fence line I asked for 1 area. I wanted one section modified from the original fence line, and when I came out on day 1 it was not the way I requested, so I called called Jameson and he said he would fix it. When I came out to see it finished the next day to see the completed fence. Guess what? It still wasn't corrected! 2) The fence was installed so that the tops of the pickets didn't line up. He called it "following the ground" or something like that. None of my neighbors have a fence that is as wavy. It looks awful and wish I would have never paid past my deposit. 3) Pickets and 4x4's warped within first year. It looks like the same terrible fence I had before I installed the new terrible one. The warranty doesn't cover 4x4 warping. They came out to replace a couple warped pickets, but there were so many slightly warped pickets it hardly did the fence justice. In my simple mind I would think a fencing company would select good enough wood that warping wouldn't be a problem. I was wrong! I would never recommend this Jameson or this company. Spend the extra $1,000 and hire a company with some quality.

We didn't like them at all. The people who actually came and did the work showed up late. It seemed like he picked up a couple of people to do his job for him which I have no problem with. But, they did not come when they were supposed to come. There was a man and his wife that were putting it together in the pitch dark.

Patriot Fencing did an excellent job of building our fence along with a privacy fence in our back yard. Extremely professional and they did excellent work.

It was amazing!! Very good experience. They were very detailed and made great suggestions. The billing process was wonderful too. I was not charged until after the work had been done.

I recently received several bids for a new fence and found the bid from Patriot to be very competitive. I hired them to replace the fence in my backyard. I found Patriot to be very responsive in dealing with my paperwork, verifying information, contacting 1800-DIGG before the installation, and doing the fence installation. The resulting fence is well done, and the quality of the wood was great, no warped or blemished material. We did run into an issue with the irrigation system after the installation, but that was dealt with quickly and promptly by the vendor. Overall, I'm really pleased with the work!

Used high quality materials, returned all calls and emails promptly. Fence was designed to keep dogs away from chicken coop on side of house. The new fence and gate are extremely sturdy and the black powder coat finish looks excellent.

They came out and reviewed work to be done. I had another contractor put my fence up 2 years ago and did not realize he did not know what he was doing as it was not properly installed. Patriot Fence came out and replaced all the wrong size metal posts on the back fence line then reattached the good panels and also added a third rail as the fence gets lots of wind there. The side fence was installed new metal posts and replaced the broken pickets. At first I was not happy with the work on the side fence. James came out and looked the work over then setup a date to have it done as expected. They did a fantastic job and love the work they did. They even cut one picket to fit a small space and it looks great. They stand behind their work which is very important and make the customer happy. I would highly recommend this company for any fence work you need done and I am sure you will be very pleased.

The work was very excellent! They were extremelly promt and fast on the job. There were three people here and they were easy to deal with.

About three years age, Patriot Fence installed some cedar privacy fencing between my property and my neighbor. A few months ago the gate began to drag on the ground, preventing fully opening. I called Patriot on Wednesday about the problem. They came today (Thursday) to fix it. Apparently the post the gate was attached to had warped slightly so that it was no longer plumb, causing the gate to drag. The Tech trimmed off the bottom of the gate to provide clearance. No more dragging. This kind of follow up service, long after the original installation, I consider to be definitely superior! I highly recommend this company!

The expereince went well. They had availability for me and installed what I needed in a timely basis. Their prices were great. There were two people here doing the work and it took a full day to complete.

I contacted the company by email and after discussing our needs, replacing a single gate with a double gate of a wooden stockade fence, we agreed to the bid amount of $750.00 and scheduled a time for the work to be done.....which was to be at 1:00 pm today. At no time was it mentioned that the fence work would carry over to the following day and the area of the fence would be open or unsecured overnight. The contractor was to call 30 minutes prior to arriving this afternoon and when he did call and say he would be arriving in a hour, he asked if we had been told the area would be left open ? I asked what he meant and he explained that the area would be left open until they returned tomorrow to complete the job. I told him no one had said anything about that, or that the job would roll into tomorrow. I called back to the company and asked why it had not been explained to me about the area being left open and also just now telling us that the job would not be completed today, but would be completed tomorrow......which was not ever discussed prior today. I was also told that they had already charged my credit card for the full amount of the bid and they had not even set foot on my property, The contract I signed apparently said that the company would be charging my card on the day of the job, but I at least thought they would come to my property before doing so. After expressing my concerns with how they had failed to inform me of the scope of the job until now, I was worried that they would not meet the standards I had assumed they would and I would be monitoring the project very closely with this information now evident. The office manager, I assume, called me back and said they were canceling their crew and our contract and did not think we were a good fit. At that point I agreed and they said they would reverse the charge on my credit card. Since this company is not interested in customer service and made no effort to "make this situation still work for both of us" by offering to reduce our bid by 10%, or offering to check the rest of the fence for stability, or to power wash the fence....anything that would have shown me they cared about my business. Therefore an F for Failure is the only grade I can give this company.

I was very satisfied with them in all categories. They showed up when they were supposed to show up and they finished the work on time. They did a good job and cleaned up. They avoided hitting any of my sprinkler system, so it ended up being a good job. I'm pleased with them. The first thing that comes to mind about them is their service. It was a little bit more expensive.

I had a very good experience with Patriot fence and would definitely recommend this company. The work performed was of excellent quality and the price was reasonable, not as inexpensive as others, but matching the quality of the work performed. I contacted Patriot to replace my old privacy wood fence and install a new gate. The company was very efficient, prompt and patient in providing me with the estimates, of which I requested several as I was coordinating the project with neighbors and had to go back-and-forth on the options about 2-3 times. Originally the work was scheduled several weeks out, maybe 6 weeks, I do not remember well. However, my dogs chewed thru the old fence and escaped (luckily a neighbor caught them!) so I called Patriot to explain my situation. Some days later, I got a call that they had a cancellation and told me that they could replace my fence the next day. I was so happy and thankful that they were thoughtful of my situation with a now broken fence and pets in my yard. The quality of the fence is excellent. The gate exceeded my expectations, operation is very smooth, the gate is sturdy and the hardware is very high quality. The staining looks beautiful. As an extra, I had them install rail boards with nailed rebar along all the fence to prevent my dogs digging under under the fence and escaping. The work was completed promptly and the crew was professional.

Initially Patriot was very responsive when we contacted them about possibly doing some fence work and deck work at our house. The estimates came a couple days after they were promised, but we understand that people get busy. After that it was like pulling teeth to get a response from them. We had a list of questions about the estimates and it took over two weeks of calls and emails to finally get them to respond. Even after all that, the price was still very competitive so we decided to move forward with the deck work. Well, 4 days after we sent the email asking to move forward we get a response saying that because we weren't moving forward with the fence work, which was a completely separate estimate, the price for doing the deck work was going to be 40% higher than what was quoted. By the way, we asked Patriot when they could start back on May 7 and said they wouldn't be able to get to us until the 3rd or 4th week of June. By comparison, the company we decided to move forward with on the fence is able to start two weeks from when the quote was given. Overall Patriot seemed very disorganized and unprofessional. I will definitely be looking elsewhere.

The workers were due to arrive on a Monday. They didn't get to the house until after 1 PM. They worked about an hour after dusk with lights. They came back the next morning and finished the job. They were rushing the job and the work suffered. There are unacceptable gaps between the pickets and some boards have only one nail in the picket. Some nails are between the pickets because they used a power nailer and didn't care where the nail hit. The bottom of the fence is too high off the ground in spots so we have to worry about our dog digging under the fence. The neighbor and I are not pleased at all. I could have built a better fence myself.

They were polite and punctual. The work appears to be quality. Their bid was several hundred dollars below the others, too. No complaints.

Jameson came to provide a quote exactly at the time he promised and spent a good deal of time with us to discuss our options and explain how Patriot would do the work. The quote came to us, again at the time promised, and with several options as promised. Patriot's price was the best of three quotes we received and the only one to provide us options. The work was performed as scheduled and is good quality. Overall, we're very satisfied with Patriot and already intend to use them again for another job.

Over the last 40 years, I have had several fences installed in different properties. I do not feel that the qualify of this fence is to the standard that I have had in the past. I admit that I was impressed by the price, but if I had to do it over again, I would have paid more for a higher qualify installation and materials. The fence is less than one year old, and many of the boards are bowing out at the bottom. My opinion is that either the installation was faulty or the materials were of a lesser quality than I was expecting. I have had many fences last 10 to 20 years before they showed this kind of deterioration. I had some issues with the way the installation was done initially, and the crew came back out and made some adjustments, but truly, they just did not have the skill of installing a high-quality aesthetic fence. I accepted the adjustments they made because I knew they could not be expected to redo the installation totally. I did contact the company about the bowing boards, and they agreed to replace the boards that were bowing if I paid for the materials. Bowed boards after about 8 months is not covered in their warranty. I choose not to have a company that installed a fence that is not holding up less than one year from installation do any further work at my home. The staff is courteous, but the product is not a bargain. Pay a little more and get a real quality product. It will be worth it in the long run.
