The initial contact was professional and the price I paid was the amount quoted although I don't think they expected to encounter a rock shelf. The workers called a few days in advance as well as in the morning before they arrived. They arrived when they said they would and completed the job completely. The work was excellent and seems more stable than the existing fence around it. I was very pleased and recommend them for any fencing work.

I'd scheduled the date of for the estimate a week in advance but he was an hour late. The estimate was fine but I had a few questions. After several calls and emails without a response, I finally gave up on Patriot Fence. I'll give them the benefit of a doubt, assume their unresponsiveness wasn't racially motivated and write it off to bad service.

James was great. He gave me the best price and showed up a little early on the day of the install to make sure there were no issues. The installation process was without issue. Everything went as planned except for the pickets. The supplier I planned on using had boards that he felt weren't the best so he upgraded me to a thicker board from an alternate vendor at no additional charge. He even called me the evening before to let me know what was happening and to see if I was ok with that because I had chosen to use a small local vendor. Clean up went well. James called me on Friday evening after the job was complete to make sure I was happy with the fence and the quality and to ask if there were any issues. I have never had one company do that yet. I looked at the reviews and there were a few that were not so stellar but those people chose not to use James and Patriot fence. I gave him a shot and he came in with the best price and i feel far better service than what I would have received from the other companies I received quotes from. 1/2012 Had to have some pickets replaced and noticed that some of the boards that the pickets are nailed to are severly warped. I was told that this is normal due to the extreme temperatures and dryness we experienced this past year. Why wouldn't the whole fence be warped then? The replaced pickets are not even stained the same shade as the existing fence. I did not go with the lowest bid. I went for getting the best value for my money. Maybe I'm expecting too much for my money but installation of fences is all they do! I understand it's a fence, but it's mine.

Fence is being installed by another company. I will review once the work is done.

Installed 147' of cedar 'good neighbor' privacy fencing, 2 gates with turnbuckles, 2x6 treated lumber along garden area to reinforce and protect cedar, solidify 'shared' side of fence in back and side yards with additional slats so that our side of fence looked continuous, apply upgrade weatherproofer by Olympic. 50% down, 50% due at completion. Jameson and his team were very prompt and professional. All old fencing was removed and hauled away and treated 4x4 posts were installed the first day. The job took about 2-1/2 days. The foreman, Austin, also answered all our questions and assured us that the job site would be left cleaned up, which it was. We would certainly recommend them to others. Quality product...Quality work.

Everything went very well, from the estimate to the build. Joey stopped by to give an estimate on the same day I called. The next week I gave them the go-ahead, and the week after that, once we had a reprieve from the frigid weather broke, they came by to start the install. One afternoon to put in the posts, the next morning to build the fence. Great job!

Patriot arrived at the scheduled time to provide us with an estimate. They listened to our questions and concerns and responded to my wife and me courteously and respectfully. Although the work was scheduled for the next day, the firm decided on their own initiative to do the repairs that afternoon. The work was completed quickly with no debris left for us to clean up. Highly profession ? would recommend without hesitation.

I'm commenting on Patriot Fence before the work is done because I was impressed with the way the estimate was handled. First, the company was easy to reach and setting up a time to stop by for an estimate was timely. Today is the Friday of the snow (roads closed, etc.) but James called to confirm the time and actually came a bit early because I was home. The estimate is a fair price and the work will be done right away. After spending many hours of my life waiting for a repairman to show up, I appreciate the fact that James was punctual and professional.

First off I want to say that Jameson and his Father were incredible. I interviewed 4 people for this job Jameson was not the lowest bid but he was no where near the highest either. I asked him to come over and take a look and give me a bid he did and was prompt. He came across as genuine and someone my wife and I felt we could work with, a this goes a long way in my book and that is why I awarded him the job. Once I had the city of Lakeway approve my permit and the HOA gave their blessing I was on my way. I let Jameson show up when he wanted as he did have other jobs he was working on but he stuck to his time line and was at the house until the sun went down. I did warn him that I am extremely picky on detail where the project is concerned. I walked through the entire project with him before he started, after that, it was easy. NOTE: I have worked with many contractors and I understand when things go wrong that you have to allow people to fix and make right any issues and if they do they get exemplary--that being said nothing went wrong on this project at all. Jameson never missed a beat. He stuck to the city codes that he printed and reviewed. The rock work on the column was incredible he payed attention and did it with the right color grout--he did have a hard time finding the color for the grout but said he would find the right one to match my house and did. I would show you pictures but there doesn't seem to be an area to download them. The Iron gate also came out incredible, this was made by Sundance Metal Fabricators here in Austin. Jameson has worked with them and recommended them for the gate it took about 7 days to build it custom to my specifications. Jameson stuck to exactly where I wanted the fence installed and further offered that should he hit a sprinkler he would take care of it. He cleaned up at the end of the day and was very respectful of the neighbors yard when installing the fence and staining it. I think this project would have been done in 3 days if we hadn't had to wait for the gate to be custom made and powder coated. I highly recommend Jameson for any project you have he is extremely conscientious and does incredible work at a fair price. He was prompt and easy to work with and all the people he had working for him were great as well including his father.

They charged me $440 for the job. They were fine. It was good interaction. I would recommend them to others. You can definitely get an estimate from them. I will use them again in the future.

My experience with Patriot started off terrible. The team was late on the install day, and when the afternoon rains came, they left the work site without cleaning up. This included a giant pile of old fencing left on my front yard, and 2000lb of concrete bags on my deck. The next several days the foreman said he would return to finish the work, or at least clean up the mess, but he didn't show. On the second evening my wife returns home to find a stranger looking at the pile of fencing in the front yard. He explained that he had read a Craigslist ad, put up by the foreman, for free used fencing if he picked it up! Well, the stranger underestimated the size of the panels and couldn't take them. So not only did the foreman outsource his cleanup responsibility on Craigslist, but he didn't even succeed! After this experience, I called the owner of Patriot (James) and explained my dissatisfaction. James apologized profusely for the foreman's behavior, and came with a team himself to my house that night to pick up the old fencing. He also offered to replace my grass if it died under the fencing (which it didn't). James then returned the next day to personally supervise the completion of the fence, which looks very nice. So, props to James for making things right after they were messed up so badly. A lot of companies wouldn't do that. I am honestly conflicted if I would use Patriot again.

I was very pleased with the work that was performed, with a few exceptions, but none meaningful enough to spoil the experience. The exceptions being (i) a scheduling conflict that prevented Jameson from making his first appointment with me, and (ii) a few of the repair items not being completely done, or at least not to the level I would have expected based on my walkthrough with Jameson. These were minor enough and I was able to tend to them myself with about an hour of effort and some elbow grease. The fence looks fantastic (in fact a neighbor has already commented how much they like the new look. I would recommend them, and would use them again.

We received the estimate the evening of Jameson's first visit. After deciding to go with Patriot Fence they had the fence up in a week. They worked 4 days (including Saturday and Sunday) until dark and the whole crew was just great people to have around. Jameson made sure our small dogs couldn't get out of the fence anywhere. It turned out much better than we had expected.

Called Jameson (owner) for an estimate - he came out the same day. He provided several possible options and materials, for either repair or replacement. He wrote up separate estimates for each section so I could work things out with each neighbor. Pricing was extremely competitive with other estimates for the same quality of materials. Installation took all of one day and a few hours the next. The Patriot Fence crew was professional and courteous, and sought out my input for placement of posts (had to work around utilities and sprinkler heads). I was quite pleased with workmanship and materials, and the crew cleaned up both my yard and the neighbor's. Jameson was responsive to all questions I had during and after the installation, and took care of my concerns promptly. I would highly recommend Patriot Fence, and plan to use them again in the future.

It went great. I really appreciate Patriot contracting for only the portion of the work that I wanted, rather than insisting on installing the entire fence. The personnel were excellent, careful, and precise.

The workmanship was top notch and the finished product was well beyond expectations. He was always easy to get a hold of and even allowed me to add small side jobs along the way. I felt very comfortable working with Jameson from start to finish and would highly recommend Patriot Fence to anyone looking for a fence or deck contractor. Not too mention that the bid turned in by Patriot Fence was well below every other contractor I spoke with. I am very satisfied with my choice in Patriot Fence!

I contacted Jameson to schedule an estimate. He returned my call promptly and we set up a time to meet the next day. My boss called me to come in early that next day for a meeting, so I immediately called him to let him know I couldn't meet him the next morning and to reschedule. He didn't pick up, so I left him a voicemail. In the morning he called me, telling me he would be over in 5 minutes. I asked him if he had checked his voicemail and he said no. I told him what happened and he said that was ok, so we rescheduled. He never showed to our appointment. I left a message for him and he didn't return my call. It's a shame because he does seem like a nice guy, very friendly.

Jameson (owner) came out on the initial visit with materiel samples (types of wood, thickness, etc) from which I made my selections and provided me a detailed and committed price estimate on all work to be performed. My fence borders two neighbors for which I was provided separate cost estimates. Jameson arranged for someone to come out and check for gaslines before work commenced - - I didn't think of it. Work began on time with sufficient people and they only ran into one delay - - rock. Jameson obtained a rock crusher, took care of the problem and sunk the posts - - no additional charges. The final product is outstanding. Even had a neighbor stop their car and say "Its now official, you have the best looking fence in the neighborhood." Patriot Fence is very competitive on price, uses top grade materials, and is completely professional. I unhesitatingly recommend them to anyone for a new fence or fence repair.
