+ -1 moreEmail attempts to contact Mr Skeen finally resulted in his response. After a few back-n-forths, he asked if he could come over "today". I confirmed it was OK, b/c coordinating with him was getting frustrating. I asked "when", his response was at first "right now" after which I responded how long before he got to my home and he responded. "5 mins" and he was "leaving now". I assumed he was literally in my neighborhood. 1 hour later, I called his number with no response. 2 hours later I left the house to go do other things. Over the next couple days, I got phone calls from Mr. Skeen's number -- no voicemail. I decided not to pick up the phone. If he can't show up or call to explain why -- leave me hanging for hours -- there is no chance he can do the work in a timely fashion.
Description of Work: no services performed. Skeen didn't show up.

+ -1 moreOn a Sunday, the electrical outlet would spark when cords were plugged into it. While not an emergency, we wanted it taken care of quickly so the service call was arranged at the soonest convenient time the next day for tenant to be home. No complaints about the service.
Description of Work: A n unsafe,faulty receptacle in the den was diagnosed and replaced within less than an hour. Problem solved. Good service. Will call them again when necessary.

+ -1 moreI am new to Austin. I had to work and didn't have time to track down an electrical problem setting up my Clothes Dryer. It was actually a simple fix (flipping a breaker) that I didn't know existed. William was honest and let us know that this was the only problem we had. William will always be my electrician now, due to his honesty and professionalism. I have recommended him to my friends.
Description of Work: I am new to town and did not have time to track down an electrical issue. William came to my house and found that the problem was a very simple fix. He was very honest that it was simple and actually only charged us half his normal rate. I would absolutely recommend him for honesty. I can't recommend his work since he did not have to do much beyond flipping a breaker that I didn't know existed.

He didn't try to up sell us but was very quick to offer suggestions if we asked him for his opinion. We are actually in need of some additional work and we didn't hesitate to contact him again.
Description of Work: William came out and installed a new outlet for our microwave and a new flood light for us. He also gave us some recommendations for future work.

+ -1 moreWilliam at Patriot was recommended by another home service provider. William did a great job - very personable. He was able to come out very soon after we requested an appointment. I also appreciated that he was happy to give advice on a number of electrical issues.
Description of Work: We had an electrical socket producing smoke as well as some other small electical problems about the house, all of which he repaired quickly and effectivally.
