Description of Work: fixed ceiling tape/mud in 2 rooms which looked good. did not do the third room as requested. don't know why. i called and they said they would make it right but never did. other work done (fixed front door trim, hole in roof) was good. so the quality of work they did was good; they just didn't do the whole job. it also took them a long time to get to the job (several weeks)

Description of Work: 3 hours of caulking for kitchen and two bathrooms. Communication/instructions were easily understood. Results now look good.

Description of Work: What I needed was a carpenter or handyman to change a light which is about 15 ft above the stairs. They don't carry insurance for scaffolding. So I had the carpenter do other things. He was not from Austin but travels around doing jobs. Don't remember his name. He did take measurements of my bathroom to send the info to a plumber who never called me!

Description of Work: Service man showed up and did most small requests correctly. |However, I had a working toilet when he arrived that did not leak - it just had water running too much and needed a new flap. During the morning I heard a loud bang from the bathroom but did not know what it was and worker never mentioned it. When the worker refilled the toilet (after replacing mechanism inside the tank) he said I had a crack there that had been there all the time that was causing the leak. In addition the mechanism was too high for the tank but the worker never mentioned it - he just replaced it and then the lid did not fit on top correctly. I wrote to the company twice with no response.

Description of Work: I paid and was expecting 2 pro painters to paint 2 rooms and 2 doors in a day. The deal was advertised as 2 pro painters. Painter showed up with his wife. They didn't finish but told me what I needed to do to finish the doors. Wife didn't paint but only acted as the helper. I could have easily completed the job over the weekend. I expected to pros to be able to knock it out in 2 hours. They showed up late and stayed late forcing my family to have a late dinner. I need to go out and buy tape and dropcloths because he told me they do not provide it. What pro painter shows up without dropcloths?

Description of Work: Installed outside ceiling fan, hung Dyson Vac & charger on wall. Installed auto locking keyless deadbolt on exterior door & rekeyed lock. Charge the air filters, battery in smoke alarms. Replaced light bulbs. Everything on my list was completed during the 4 hrs purchased in special and I have not had any problems with work performed.

Description of Work: I had a leak & part of my kitchen ceiling had to be pulled down. Mike came out & repaired the ceiling & did a great job. I had too much for him to do in the 7 hrs, so I contacted OnCall & had him come out for another day.

Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's deal for 7 hours. I had a long list of to-do's, more than 7 hours worth, but the priorities on the list were accomplished--removing and replacing bathroom and kitchen sealant; simple carpentry work; replacing a non-functioning light fixture in the kitchen, sealing outdoor leaks in the facade of the house, and other small tasks. The handyman was courteous and easy to communicate with, and he cleaned up his messes as he worked. He came when he said he would, took a 30-minute lunch, and left after 7 hours of working (not including his lunch time).

Description of Work: OnCall serviceman Alex, replaced two ceiling fans for me. He was very nice to work with, and arrived as scheduled. After a wiring disconnect with one of the fans, Alex returned and did the troubleshooting to locate and fix the problem, also offering to help with any other items I might need at the house. I will use this company again!
