Description of Work: Installed two ceiling fans with remote controls and removed another fan. He did all the work in the two hour window as required. The Tech was nice, polite and cleaned when each fan was finished. I would use this service again.

Description of Work: I purchased a package for 40 hours of skilled "handyman services" thru Angie's List deals. Since I am out of their service area (Austin), I agreed to a "trip charge" and 2 "handymen" for 20 hours (a "husband and wife team"). They showed up later than the office represented. The "wife" of this team is actually 18 and appeared to be in training by the skilled handy man. He allowed her to hang 2 light fixtures which need to be taken down and re hung properly as they are crooked and wobbly. Most of the time she was watching him and get his tools and learn about what he was doing. They were nice enough, but I paid for 2 "skilled" handymen services. We rescheduled one of the days which they tried to cancel 2 times due to a staff meeting and other scheduling conflicts. I had to have the work done on that day. The morning of, they called to let me know they broke down and would not be able to make it. This left me scrambling to find someone who could come complete the work before renters checked in. The whole experience has been very unprofessional and disheartening. Also, I think it is worth mentioning that the additional "trip fee" they were charging was for the "team" to drive 17 miles from San Marcos to my home in New Braunfels. San Marcos to Austin, their service area is 31 miles.

Description of Work: They got all of our doors to close and open properly. Also brought our furnace and furnace door up to code which also included a trip to home depot. Everything looks great.

Description of Work: I have had One Call do several jobs over the course of the last three years. I do real estate investing and they help bring my properties up to par before selling. Can take a little while to get on their schedule but well worth it.

Description of Work: Did some wall grouting and painting on wall problems. Did same on window ledges. |Saw some things I had not seen and took care of them. Told me exactly what he was going to do, and how he would do it. Answered all my questions in detail and understandable.

Description of Work: Caulked worn spots in 4 bathrooms. Punctual and courteous. Did a good job but I had to leave before job was finished and a few spots were missed.

Description of Work: Provider was Angies List deal. Provider did not show up. I was charged anyway by Angie. Angie was informed via e-mail. I have not received a |reply or my money.

Description of Work: When i purchased this option i selected a proposed date and time. Their reply was to call them. That option doesn't work for me and if it was the only way to get the work done it should have said so up front.

Description of Work: I bought a pkg for "handyman services" but when I called I first was told that Angie's List had not forwarded my info; then when I went over the variety of needs I had (e.g., check/fix elec outlet; install ceiling fan light; minor plumbing and other electrical (including, install outdoor yard lamp to pre-existing connections) I was told these were all outside the purview of a 'handyman." Asked what was covered under "handyman" I repeatedly got 'put up shelves' but no other services I needed. So I requested a refund, which was purportedly given (but I still need to confirm). What the heck is a 'handyman' if they can't do anything????

Description of Work: Replaced front door hardware, replaced back door knob. Consulted on another door with serious issues. Nice work on this part of the job!

Description of Work: It went great. Alex arrived on time and worked so hard for the entire day. He fixed a ceiling fan hung several peg boards in the garage, put 1 X 4 trim on the back of the house and put up some shelves in a closet. It was a great experience.

Description of Work: David was very friendly and on-time, he was finished cleaning my dryer vent in about 20 minutes. |All went well, expect for a mess where the vent was located, dryer lint was everywhere on the ground (Dryer vent exhaust is on the roof) not a big deal but not how I would of left a customer's lawn. After about 15 minutes of clean up everything was well. |

Description of Work: The guy was late, arrogant, took the door off and was just going to leave it, would not listen and kept telling me how professional he was. Very nasty and arrogant person

Description of Work: They patched a hole in the ceiling. I don't remember what it cost but it was twice what was represented because they had to go to Home Depot to get supplies. They knew what the job was so it would seem they would carry supplies or at least tell you what they were going to need. And of course the supplies were extra as well as the trip to Home Depo. And painting over the patch work was not part of the deal. The guy who came out was really nice and personable.

Description of Work: 3 hrs of misc handyman projects. Did great job.
