To start, I will say that the finished product is very nice. As someone who has a background in construction, I was a bit frustrated with what seemed like an attitude of getting the pool finished quickly was more important than doing everything correctly. we live in the country, so no inspections, which I feel the superentendent felt was a reason to not do everything completely to code. I must say, that every time there was an issue that I brought up, they took care of it, but not until I brought it up. Again, the end result has been fabulous, but we should have been able to get there without so much frustration. A lot of our issues seemed to have come from one employee, who has since moved on to another company and the people who helped us after that really did an excellent job.

A person from Ocean Quest Pools Company drained the pool and cleaned it out. The overall work turned out to be fine. The quality of the work done was good. He was very punctual. I would consider using Ocean Quest Pools Company in the future.

Construction was lengthy, primarily because it required a lot of build up as opposed to digging into the ground. Although the project was started in September the pool was not usable until March. Weather and pedantic inspectors conspired to extend the build time, but since it was over winter this wasn't a major frustration for us. The complex construction, negative edge, and spa were the major components in the price, which I felt was reasonable given the scope of work, and the end result was fantastic - I am very happy with the design they recommended. There were a few problems throughout the construction, but I don't have a context for comparison given the scale. My guess is that compared to other firms, Ocean Quest knows what they are doing. Some of their employees are better than others though. Try to work with Peter (sales) and Jeff (construction manager). Overall I would definitely recommend Ocean Quest. I was happy with the price and the end result, although I wouldn't describe my experience with them as a "perfect" A. However, maybe a perfect experience is impossible in complex construction projects.

Great experience. He took him time and explained the system to me. He was very knowledgeable. I was happy with it.

Shotty workmanship. We paid for some jets that would shoot out from behind the tiles. OQ installed the jets, but they were not capable of installing a simple cover over the jets that would last for more than one month. As a result, The tile line of the pool is peppered with a tile line that has large jagged holes where the jets are. They also did not plan for drainage, so I had to hire a subcontractor and pay him $500 to dig a ditch, which OQ eventually filled in with cement causing more problems.

Our pool looked great and we loved it, so I was very happy with their work they did. They used some of the best materials, so it wouldn t be fair for me to quote a price, because price was not an object to me. If someone wanted a less expensive pool it would be like comparing apples to oranges. These guys were real pros in the pool business. They were dependable and did a good job so that's what should really matter.

They did an excellent job of installing the pool and the patios around it. They stayed within their time frame. We haven't had any problems with any of their work. It all looked very good. They maintained the pool for us and they would come out anytime we called them.

I think the people at Ocean Quest did a great job with the initial installation of it all. They also have very nice people working for them and they offer very kind services. Like if the equipment needs to be tended to, they will send some one out almost immediately. They are terrific and I am very satisfied when having to deal with them.

I absolutely love the services I had received from the guys at Ocean Quest. They installed everything perfectly and it all looks amazingly beautiful. They are with out a doubt the people to call for your swimming pool installations. If and when I would ever get another swimming pool, they are the people I would call.
