Not well. 4 Months later it still doesn't work properly. Have sent sound bar back to manufacturer for a replacement, but same problem persists. Problem is with the install and this installer is not standing behind his work. System looses wireless connection. Have heard all of the reasons in the world, but it is pretty simple stuff. A TV, a sound bar and a subwoofer, that is it. Three pieces, all new. Paid professional to have them installed. They have never worked. Three visits to the house, a day off work and undelivered promises to get this right now lead to the frustration of this review. Ironically, this is the second time we have used Pulse Video and the first time they were flawless. I guess you see true colors when something goes wrong.

I certainly understand your frustration, and I’m truly sorry that we’ve been unable to provide an acceptable solution to you. We take our work and reviews very seriously and strive to not only meet but exceed your expectations. First, I contacted the manufacturer who you bought the sound bar from. They said you had a defective unit and they’d replace it. I felt bad for you and your situation so I waived charges for your second installation. On our follow up visit we installed your replacement sound bar and the same problem (sound bar remote / buttons wouldn’t work) occurred. Upon additional troubleshooting, I discovered the TV caused interference with the sound bar functions. By adjusting the TV tilt the interference disappeared. That solved the problem but wasn’t a viable solution for you. The other option was to place it on the credenza below your TV. Again, not an agreeable solution. I’ve racked my brain as to how to make this right – reduce the tilt of the TV, or relocate the sound bar further away from the TV. I understand that you want the sound bar mounted below the TV, so do I! It looks great! Again, I’m sorry we couldn’t find a solution that would make you happy, and I’m open to hear any suggestions you might have. At Your Service, Dave Cox

.I needed a relatively small TV (42") mounted above my fireplace. Left a message late yesterday afternoon for Pulse Video & received a call back early this afternoon. I explained what I was looking for & Dave very clearly explained how this could be accomplished. I had two strokes of luck - the installation qualified for a special they were running, and he had just finished a job ahead of schedule & was able to fit my installation in today. He showed up on time (even called to let me know when he was 15 minutes out). Upon arrival, he checked out the fireplace & the equipment (TV, Comcast box, DVD player) & discussed some choices I had (the position of the TV, routing of the cable wire, etc.) I opted to have him install an electrical outlet behind the TV as well, but he didn't pressure me on that decision at all. The service included all of the hardware needed to mount the TV. The work itself was excellent & very conscientiously done. He brought in blankets to protect the floor & vacuumed up after the installation. He even took the time to go through my settings to significantly improve the sound & picture quality (What a difference! I'd never even bothered to LOOK at the Comcast settings. Lesson learned). He really went above & beyond in explaining things. For example, I asked how difficult it would be to swap out this TV for a larger one in the future & he was very open in showing me how I could swap the TVs myself. He also gave me some good advice on sound bars, if I should decide to go that route later on (and the quote he provided for that was very reasonable). He took the time to do the job right & it shows. The TV looks great - very cleanly mounted, great picture (thanks to his help with the settings), and the work area was 100% cleaned up when he finished. I'd highly recommend this vendor.

I needed my LCD TV mounted above my fireplace. After another contractor quoted me a price *MORE THAN THE COST OF THE TV ITSELF* I said "forget it, I'll do it myself." While looking at how-to articles on the internet, I came across Pulse Video's website and I'm glad I did. Dave quoted me a very reasonable price, and then came out and did a fantastic job. He was all the things you want from a contractor: professional, courteous, timely, and VERY reasonably priced. Most importantly, his experience showed in his high quality work. Highly recommended.
