Native Waterscapes

Unfortunately I purchased a house with pool construction done by Native Waterscapes. After moving in, the pool and decking basically started to fall apart. The pool is leaking into my yard and as you can see from the pictures, there are huge gaps in the hot tub and deck. I have tried for months to engage the Native Waterscapes team and they’ve basically destroyed be everything possible to dodge and stall the issues. Do yourself a favor and find another company!

Native Waterscapes originally built our pond about five years ago, but we've have problems with the waterfall wall since the beginning. Last fall, after yet another leak in the waterfall wall, we asked them to come up with a permanent solution, and we ended up agreeing to pay for the materials to add a bog and move the biofilters there (the filters had been in the wall up until that point). They then rebuilt the wall. Well, last weekend, we returned from a trip to find the wall as a pile of rubble. I left an irate message (we also had water leaking out), which was not returned until the following day, at which point my husband was told they would be out within two weeks to repair it and that someone would call him within two days later to let him know when they would come to repair it. No one over called. He left a message that day, then another the next day. Still no response. So, yesterday I left another irate message saying that we needed a date this week (within the two weeks they promised), and today my husband got a message that the owner would come out some time this week to take measurements and then come up with a plan. Every time we've dealt with them, we've gotten the same dodge and stall, so I am now looking for someone else to come out and clean up their mess . Under no circumstances would I ever recommend this company.

I've been out a couple of times and if you find someone there, they can be helpful. Most of the time they don't answer the phone and don't return calls or emails. The staff apparently is well aware that the secretary (Julie) doesn't respond to messages and customers complain on a regular basis, yet the beat goes on. I used their pond repair guy long ago and he did a good job. I was happy with him but he moved on to Austin Aquascapes (an even more dreadful place) and now is back here. Unfortunately since I no longer have his cell phone it appears to require an act of Congress or Occupy Native Waterscapes for someone to get him a message or for anyone to return my call. I'm simply not willing to do business with a company that treats its customers that way. If I did the same to mine I wouldn't have any.
