+ -1 moreI like that there is a local place dedicated to preserving in this day of throw-away and get a bigger/better one.
Description of Work: Mr. Wizard can fix anything electronic, but did wonders with my ancient microwave (I love it because it also is a toaster, broiler, oven and convection, and GE doesn't make it any more). This shop also fixes TVs, stereos, anything electronic (not toasters, but they consider microwaves electronic). The walls are lined with items from IBM Selectric typewriters to an early (very early) jukebox in a wooden case. Mr. Wizard is booked weeks in advance, but will schedule you, tell you the day he will look at your item and call you to give an estimate.
