Mr. Tankless came through when every other plumber or water heater contractor was not responsive due to inventory or what ever. Bob was able to get us back with hot water the same day, efficient, thorough, pleasant. I wish I could give more that 5 stars.

They were super responsive, professional, and did the installation very quickly. They also did a great job cleaning up after they were done. I would recommend him highly and will definitely use him again.

We hired Bob to fix our tankless hot water heater because it was making a squealing noise every time we turned on the hot water. After consulting Bosch Aquastar about the problem they said we would have to hire a plumber with this special tool to adjust the 02 sensor . Bob assured us he had this tool. When he got here he said he didn't need the tool and could fix it without it. He brought another guy with him. After a few minutes of having my husband and his helper turn on and off faucets in kitchen and bathroom while he turned the hot water down so it wouldn't squeal he said it was fixed. Charged us $125. When I got home a couple of hours later and turned on the hot water it was actually squealing worse, an ear piercing sound that could be heard throughout the house and all over the neighborhood! I called him immediately but he would not answer the phone. I tried many times to reach him but he would not answer the phone. He also cashed our check the same day we paid him. Never could get him to respond to us and our hot water heater is still squealing.

Similar experience tot he previous post, we wanted to pull a permit so we could the rebate. Bob pulled the permit for the job. No one was there the day of the inpsection. The inspector said we needed to do a gas test so it failed. We called Bob to let him know and if he could return to do the test. He never returned my calls or finished the job. I called him almost daily for 3 weeks with no reply.
Description of Work: Bob installed a new tankless water heater for us since our old one no longer worked.

I hired Bob Lemons to install a tankless water heater at my house in September of 2012. He seemed lovely and like he would get the job done quickly and correctly. He did get the job done quickly. It only took about 2 hours. The problems happened after the water heater was installed. I was very clear that the only way I could really afford to replace my old water heater with a tankless water heater was if I was able to get the $600 rebate that the gas company was offering. He assured me that we would get the proper permits and inspections and everything would be good to go. An inspector showed up about a week later ( I didn't know he had been called or was scheduled to come to my house). I was with a client and couldn't stop to look at the heater with him and he said he didn't really need me there. I thought all was okay with the water heater and that I would be receiving my rebate check in the mail. December rolled around and I received my paperwork back from the gas company saying that they couldn't issue the rebate as the water heater was not properly permitted and inspected. I called Bob and asked him to get the ball rolling to get the proper permitting and inspections. He came and turned my gas off for the day to wait for an inspector to come. It was freezing that day and I was working at home with clients with no heat or hot water all day. Bob showed back up that afternoon to wait for the inspector who never came. Bob blamed the inspector and said we'd try again the next day. The next morning he said he couldn't come back. The inspector did show up that day and the gas hadn't been turned off so he could run the necessary tests. He did tell me though that it wouldn't pass inspection because the pipes weren't right and there had been no electric permit pulled at all. I called Bob to relay what had to be done to complete the process and he basically told me that he had taken another job and that the electrician would get to it when he could. I would have to wait for him to have more than one permit to pull. He refused to give me a time frame or address the plumbing that needed some attention to be up to code. All of this was by text as I have not been able to get him to return my calls. He keeps saying he's in a meeting. It gets worse....I ended up hiring my own electrician to pull the permit and when he looked at the work that Bob's team had done, he said it wouldn't have passed inspection because they used the wrong wire that isn't up to code. The second electrician kindly rewired it and we passed the electrical inspection. Bob still hasn't returned my phone call regarding the plumbing inspection which has now failed twice. As he won't return my calls or texts, I'll be forced to find another plumber to fix the problems that are not up to code and get a notarized letter to change the name on the permit. I've already spent an additional $200 on the electrician, and many hours of my time. Not sure how much I'll have to spend to get the plumbing permit passed but I imagine that my rebate will be mostly gone by the time I finish cleaning up Bob Lemons' mistakes. Update: I contacted the inspector and he suggested I turn him in to the state board of plumbing examiners. Being kind, I sent Bob a certified letter stating that he had 5 days to make this right or I would notify the board and take him to small claims court. 3 days into his grace period he contacted me telling me that it was going to cost him $300 to get an electrician to pull an electrical permit and an extra fee to get everything reinspected and that he hadn't been paid by his new company yet. He didn't bother to listen to the message that I left that I'd hired another electrician and he didn't read in the certified letter that I'd hired another electrician! On the 5th day of his grace period, I texted to ask where we were on this...he called and said he would have his scheduler call me that day. Never happened. Thankfully a friend who is also a plumber offered to call him on Saturday. Bob called me and seemed surprised that the scheduler didn't call me. He finally sent a plumber out on Monday to bring the work up to code. Waiting on the inspection....
Description of Work: Don't ever use this guy. No integrity.

We were very satisfied with the service and the price.
Description of Work: we were not getting hot water at our bathroom and kitchen faucets. We have a tankless water heater. We called a plumber we use regularyly who advised us to call the distributer in Austin. They referred us to Mr. Tankless. The problem was diagnosed and repaired quickly, the gentlemen also cleaned out faucet cartridges, and aerators. They were professional and knowledgeable and the service was reasonably priced.
