The first few years, the service was reliable. Our contract was for the non-synthetic chemical (probably misnamed "natural." Early this spring, the fish in our outdoor fish pond died. We completely refurbished the pond liner and water and replaced the fish; they died within a day, as did several frogs that lived in the pond. Again we had the water checked for bacteria and replaced the fish for a third time. At that point, I emailed MCS to ask if they had changed our chemical solution, they denied it but admitted that they are now using the strongest synthetic chemical mix. We have been trying to get them out to change the tank, but they claim they can't change the solution until this tank runs out. Meanwhile, I'm stuck with a fish pond with no fish, vegetables and herbs in the yard that we can't consume, and a sizable bill for three rounds of fish. I don't recommend using MCS if you have pets, children, or any sort of garden. If you do choose to use them, please tell your neighbors that you are so they can take precautions.

MCS has always given no advance notice of when they will prepare our system for the spring/summer seasons. Always reliable and courteous. Never have had and service problems since Installation of system in 2007. Always responsive to any of our maintenance issues. Very pleased!

When we first moved in, we wouldn't use own backyard and pool because our kids were covered in bites. MCS installed the system and we don't even think about mosquitos anymore. It's wonderful. MCS is very professional & always on time.

Whenever MCS comes to my home and provide service, they either leave me a statement (or not) and follow up with an online delivered statement of work and an invoice. Typically the statement includes their service charge, the cost of fluid, and invariably a few replaced nozzles, along with a statement of the "system functioning OK". The last time they serviced and left me the statement, I went and checked and in fact the system pump motor was not functioning; every time I reset the circuit breaker (co-located with the system) and then turned on the pump, it immediately tripped the breaker. Earlier, I had suspected a problem with the system because we were beginning to have a mosquito problem. I had checked the system, and it was very "full" in the fluid tank, at a time when it should have been lower. I had checked the system and at one point in my testing, the pump motor had caused a trip of the circuit breaker. I assumed it was due to too many loads on the circuit, so I unplugged the other loads so only the pump remained on the circuit. A week later when MCS came to provide service, they claimed all was well. My check of the system the following day revealed different. I decided to end my service contract with them because I do not believe they performed a system check in spite of their contention. When I called to cancel my service agreement, there was no question as to why, no follow up by anyone from MCS.

It went great! They were on time for the consultation and answered all of my questions, especially about the toxicity of the chemicals they use and their effectiveness. I had two bids on this project. Although the cost of the installation on both bids was almost exactly the same, I appreciated the fact that MCS's ongoing maintenance and refill costs seemed cheaper and that they did a full inspection of the system at each visit. They offer a lifetime warranty, so basically if you use them to fill and maintain the system, they replace any broken nozzles, pumps, timers, etc. And while they charge a labor cost for coming out, they only charge for how much they refill the system. So if you don't use it much, they charge you for only a partial refill. Also, I had a maintenance issue right off the bat (just some confusion about the timer). I sent a note on Sunday and they were at my house 8 am Monday to fix it. That's service!

They showed up on time. They were very polite. It took them about 30 minutes to complete my entire yard. They told me the ffects should last 3 weeks if there was no rain within 24 hours of spraying. No mosquitos or other biting insects for one month now. I will have them back.

We live on the Lake Travis waterfront, yet couldn't really enjoy it because Mosquitos were swarming constantly. Since the installation, we live outside and never even think about Mosquitos anymore. The cooling mist also made a tremendous positive difference in our lives, as we can now use our patio comfortably on even the most sweltering Austin afternoon. The MCS team was a dream to work with. Installation was flawless and came-in a bit below the estimate. When we had a small problem with a couple of the nozzles, MCS responded immediately, came out the next day, fixed everything and left a note detailing what they did. Absolutlely first class operation all around.

They have been really good and reliable. The yard was unlivable because of the mosquito, but now we have a yard back. The equipment is amazing, and they hit every spot where they maybe breeding. They are also very prompt about their service, and we can count on them.
