Finished doing an extensive inside renovation to my second home and was ready to tackle on the outside. Jodi came out and helped design the front and back with great ideas. They constructed a new patio area with beautiful gravel, installed a cowboy pool, deck, built a gorgeous pergola, stained and painted, added landscape lighting, did grading to the land, French drains, and extensive landscaping. Love the privacy trees Jodi chose as well as all the fun plants. Couldn’t be happier and will recommend again.

Morning Star is a company I’ve used several times. This go round they did a lot of clean up for Spring, powerwashed everywhere, and did extensive sealing and staining of our pergola, pool, and fencing. Jodi recreated a dull, unused area into a very cozy patio area including fire-pit. They installed lights as well and now I have a second area for relaxing. Couldn’t be happier, and also hired Jodi to do estate management on both my properties. Project went smooth and always recommend.

Finding Jodi and her amazing crew at Morningstar Landscaping was one of the luckiest days of my life. I had complete landscaping plans for my home and the person I hired did a little work and then ghosted me. Jodi came in and exceeded my expectations. Jodi did a great job of executing my vision, while helping guide my choices towards plants that were going to be fairly easy to care for and appropriate for my planting region. The project went perfectly. Took just over 5 weeks of which I was out of town for 2. Same crew every day and Jodi communicated constantly over text with video and picture updates so that the project could continue with me there.

Really well. I invested in the big things like an irrigation system and landscape lighting. Jodi and her team considered a couple of alternatives and made the most of my budget. Jodi and I approached this as the beginning of a long-term relationship where we’ll continue to work together to continue to beautify my property. I found Jodi to be knowledgeable about the native plants and excited to suggest other plants I might enjoy in the future. She is a great communicator and very responsive.

Needed much needed work on our fence and a new pathway. They did a great job, were clean, and good price. No issues, will use again.

Used Morning Star again to clean and replace many plants and 2 trees, made adjustments to the irrigation, cleaned everywhere and applied mulch. We also had them stone our mailbox. Looks great, very happy

Jodi and her crew at Morningstar Landscaping were amazing! They created a new flagstone patio for me and also added a pathway with some old pavers I had leading from the patio the the back gate. I absolutely love my new patio! Jodi has a great eye for outdoor design and her crew is very talented at what they do. They completed the work on time and the quality of the work is excellent. I recently hired Morningstar Landscaping & Construction to transform my yard, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Brainstorming the patio and yard design with Jodi was enjoyable and collaborative. The install crew is made up of true craftsmen, displaying remarkable attention to detail. The work Jodi and her crew did exceeded all of my expectations. The communication was fantastic every step of the way to ensure the project was finished exactly how we wanted. Customer service to the max!! I am extremely particular and detail oriented with my home projects and have struggled to find a contractor in Austin that reciprocates that attitude— until we met Jodi. The entire experience was great, and the finished product was way better looking than I could have imagined. We went from never using our backyard to now being out there every night of the week. We couldn’t be happier with the work that Jodi and her team did in our backyard. She took our newly constructed pool/spa and pavilion and added so much character and life to the project. The outdoor kitchen is beautiful and the fireplace is truly a work of art! I saved the best part for last…the plants! Jodi really knows her plants and has an eye for what will fill a space with the most beautiful native plants that are alive with color and will grow happily in our space for years to come! Without Jodi’s design expertise, we couldn’t have achieved this beautiful result! We are so grateful!

Jodi and her team exceeded my expectations! I had a landscaping design done by a company whose bid for the work seemed excessive, so I initially went with an individual who bid much lower. He did some work, then disappeared into thin air:-( Jodi swooped in to save the day! They actually had to undo/redo some things that had been done incorrectly. Not only did she transform my front and back yard into exactly what I had envisioned, working with them was much less stressful than I expected -- it was actually fun! All the work was done as promised, and with exceptional craftsmanship. I was so appreciative that Jodi communicated with me every step of the way, keeping my vision at the forefront while offering her expertise to help me make the best choices for my project. They were always willing to work around my schedule, and her whole team was not only exceptionally talented, they were also very professional, friendly, and respectful of my home and space. We are already planning a follow up project and I would recommend Jodi and the Morningstar Landscaping Team wholeheartedly and without reservation!

Brought back Morning Star to do some Winter clean up after the bad freeze and get a plan for Spring plantings. Jodi and her crew did a great job, added winter color, did some light pruning on the trees, and mulched. They also added a few landscape lights and did some interior painting touch-ups. I have used them for large and smaller projects and never been disappointed. Looking forward to landscaping in the Spring as well as new hardscaping. Great job.

Paid the Angi's deal for consulatation; they never called me or reached out. I called them and left multiple messages but never heard back.

Overall, we are really pleased with the end product that transformed a muddy mess into a useable backyard. The crew was great and after the work started they showed up each day through the construction. Would highly recommend Jodi and her team.

Morningstar is great to work with. From the initial consult to the final install day, they were professional all the way. They listened to our concerns and goals and solved our issues very successfully. We will be hiring them again in the future.

Jodi and her team were great to work with and I would highly recommend them. They did a full overhaul of our landscaping after the Feb 2021 freeze and some terracing on a slope in our backyard. Jodi had great recommendations for plants and trees that are hardy and easy to care for. You can tell she has a passion for landscaping and is very knowledgeable.
