Description of Work: My AC stopped cooling in the middle of July. A coworker recommeneded Moody's so I gave them a call. They sent someone out first thing on a Saturday morning to take a look. They had the replacement capacitor I needed on hand and had my house nice and cool again in no time without charging me an arm and a leg.

Description of Work: Replaced evaporator coil in air conditioning unit

Description of Work: Moody A/C replaced our old system when the evaporator coil broke. He gave us a good quote on a new system and also did some extras without charge - raised our outside concrete pad, relocated the thermostat and rebuilt part of the duct work after he discovered it had been poorly done during the initial installation (which was not done by Moody). Our thermostat is set at 78 degrees and feels cool all the time - even with the 100 degree temps! It does not run constantly either. I used to have it on 75 and it still never felt very cool and ran almost constantly (even before the evaporator coil broke!) I'm actually looking forward to our electric bill because I know it's going to be so much lower. Gary Moody installed exactly what we needed for the size of our home. 16 seer, 4 ton unit. They showed up at 7:30 in the morning and the job was completely finished by 12:30. The comparison bid I got was going to take 2 half days to complete and would have cost more. He also made sure to tell me about the rebates available, which will make the total $600 less. I've been using Moody a/c for over 10 years and have always been satisfied. Gary is honest, reliable, conscientious, responsive and knowledgable.
