Momentum Solar – Austin

Of course great service up front. Big talk of Veteran owned, customer first, one stop shop for all my solar needs. NOT SO MUCH. As of today 10Dec2024 I have been made 10 phone calls each 1hr in length working to get a technician out to service my system. They first started telling me nothing was wrong. I then provided a detail by time and date flow of when each Solar Array started to degrade and now over 1Kwh difference. The Company then started with the In Accordance With The Contract talk. So that told me right there they were not about the customer nor fixing me problems. I finally got them to sent a technician out on 4Dec at which time he identified 4ea. Damaged and unserviceable power wires from my solar panels to the J-box( of course i took my own pics) He once found a 0 gauge Power cable improperly installed in the fuse box. (Remember they told me on the phone nothing was wrong) after that maintenance the technician powered up the system and said give it a few days. That sounds odd to me as a retire Army helicopter mechanic but it their mission so I waited. 10Dec I called back and I am still HOPING they fix my system. Please do not go with this Company. Sad

They got back to me very quickly and we set up an appointment for the sales rep. He scribbled lots of stuff on paper. When I asked if he could email the info to me, he said yes but never did. A week later their customer service dept called and asked how things went. I told them the rep was supposed to send info to me. They said they'd look into it and I never heard back.
