They provided quality work and stood beside their bid. They did an excellent job and were very pleased with their service.

Other plumbing services in Angie’s List quoted me over $60-$70 and I had used them several years before once. So that was the only reason I chose them. When I called them they told me that they would offer me 25% discount and they didn’t tell me how much it would cost over the phone. When they came here they told me it would $165 plus tax to pull the rig off the truck and what I had to do was to clean out all that. I would not use them again.

BAD! NEVER WILL USE AGAIN

They promptly arrived, however, that was about all that went well. They quoted over $200 to repair a running toilet (I new the parts cost less than $10 at Home Depot). When I told him that was too much, he said he would lower it I I used them for other work. They looked at our other issue and quoted almost $800 (but lowered the toilet to $180). My husband ended up asking him some questions about the work, and it turns out he was willing to do this work, but would not tell us that it would fix the problem. When my husband asked him if it could be a city issue - he said it could be and we should probably call the city first (he mentioned nothing of this until directly asked). He ended up saying we should do the repair with him anyway because the part that needed "replacing" usually only lasts 5 years (he didn't know we have lived here longer than that!). I paid the service fee of $65 and sent him away - feeling ripped off.

Charged $59.95 for service call to" cover gas" and $188.00 to disconnect. Not assessing what was needed did not have proper sized basket strainer for new sink when returned two days later. Wanted $250.00 to reconnect completely functioning faucet and another 250.00 for reconnect of garbage disposer.Parts were $164.00. Decided at that point I was definitely being taken advantage of, especially after technician wanted me to pay for half of service up front. Called Steve's plumbing. Ray was great and completed entire job with trouble shooting for $150.00! Also found a comparable basket strainer at Joscos for $14.00. Mojica charged me $64.00! Was stuck with expensive parts but did save at least $350.00 by calling Steve's Plumbing. When I questioned Mojica's high fees they reported they have a high overhead. They even left a brochure explaining why the service fees are so high! They use a "manual" with apparent standard fees. Steve's plumbing never heard of such a manual. Call Steve's if you want a fair and honest plumber! Ray is the best!

Kind of felt like my pocket had been picked clean. The entire encounter was not very comfortable. The price was WAY too high!!! The plumber was frustrating. Mojica will not even so much as look at the problem, make a diagnosis, until you physically pay them a service call fee. I will NEVER use MOJICA again.

They did a good job overall, but I should have negotiated a better price. Next time I would find someone else for any plumbing needs I may have. They were alright as far as being professional and courteous out here, but they just got me on the price so I felt a little cheated.
