Merry Maids of Austin

They were terrible. They offered me a list of services, but didn't follow through with them. They were putting my linens in the dryer to get the wrinkles out, and spraying a fabric freshener on them, instead of laundering them. They took my house keys when I told them not too, and I got locked out. I couldn't get hold of them until 10 p.m. They were constantly late. I definitely would not recommend them. The overall experience was F. I will not be using them again.

There were 2 women. They missed many spots, and also broke a vintage stained glass window I had just by being careless. They were not very nice, and were not very accomodating to what I needed to have done.

Did a great job. Extra cleaning twice a year. Promptly paid for a couple items over eighteen months that were damaged or broken during cleaning.

I have used Merry Maids for almost 7 years now. In general I am happy with the work, but I have noticed that the quality can vary week to week. When I complained about cobwebs being left under counters, etc., it was immediately noted on my sheet and check from then on. They are very responsive if I need to cancel or move a cleaning and have been very good about working around the kids and dogs when necessary. They have only raised the price of cleaning twice in the time I've used them.

Everything went well. They were very professional to deal with. My wife is a bit sensitive about having strangers in the house, and she felt reasonably comfortable alone with the three maids that were sent over.

I do not think that Merry Maids is too expensive; I think they are priced just right. I have a pretty big home, and they tend to get all the necessary areas clean to where I have no complaints. I will continue my services with them until they prove me otherwise. I am happy with them, and I enjoy their company as well.

I did not like them very much. They just were not through enough in their job. I always noticed little things they had overlooked and sometimes-major things. They simply just did not do what they were hired to do. I do not think I will ever hire them again. I think I will just continue to clean my own house. At least, I know it will be done right.
