+ -1 moreThe scheduling was not good, the price was not good, and when things went wrong on the deliver the handling or response was not good.
Description of Work: Bought some man made masonry for fireplace. Could not get MPI to give us any samples with which to match colors with though we had asked for these for 4 weeks, was given the run around. Ordered the material at the high price of about 12.00 per square foot, knowing it would take 4 weeks for it to be manufactured and shipped from California. Once the shipment came in only 1/2 of the order had been shipped so we waited another 2 weeks for the rest to come in. Not much responsiveness by MPI on trying to get it here in quicker. It delayed our remodel by about 3 weeks. When we asked MPI for some consideration for the inconvience the response to us was, "That in a down economy people (meaning us) are always trying to get the price down for one reason or another" that was the wrong answer.
