Mark's Air Conditioning & Heat

Purchased Big Deal for service call, scheduled appointment for 6 pm on 6/4/15. Tech was 40 minutes late due to being lost. Work went ok once he arrived. Unit was blowing cold air that evening. The next day it started blowing hot air again. I immediately called Mark and he promised he would come out and take a look at it over the weekend. He never showed up and I never received a follow up call about the unit.

It was fair. It was mediocre. I tried to call them after they came and did some service but they never returned my call. It wasn't something that I would recommend to anybody.

Who ever installed the air conditioner in the house when it was built took some short cuts & the air conditioner was not working correctly--the air was not controlled correctly between the upstairs & downstairs & water was condensing on the outside of the ducts causing water to leak in the ceilings. Mark corrected the problem & was very dilligent in his work in finding & fixing what was wrong. He worked for about 9 hours total on the project & installed new equipment. I thought the price was very reasonable for the hours and materials used. He called the next day just to be sure everything was working correctly.

The system is cooling great now, happy tenant. Mark was willing to negotiate the price with me. Plus, I have the pressure measurements as a baseline.

I had multiple bids on this job and he is the only person that truly struck me as honest. The system being replaced had been out for several months and needless to say I was not the happiest camper on the block about that.Most of the people bidding simply wanted to sell their highest priced equipment and truly were the reason that the AC industry gets a bad name.Name brand doesn't mean much when the units are manufadtured in the same place and a different tag slapped on them. Thus is the way of the Air Conditioning market.Mark walked me through everything before he started.He talked me through the install and showed me what he was doing during the process.Got the entire system out and installed the new one in a days time. He stayed late to finish the job but I'm sure the other bidders would have not done this.The job was done correctly and promptly and I was treated with courtesy the entire time. I would strongly recommend that you check this guy out if you need AC work done.Mark is a really great guy.
