M&M Roofing, Siding & Windows

Linn had to search to find matching siding, no easy task, but he was able to locate some in a town 30 miles away.  He came by the house on Friday to deliver the supplies that his crew would need for an early start the next day.  Since I needed sheet siding, caulk, paint, trim, and framing materials, it was a solid delivery of product.  The crew came about 8am Saturday morning, start day.  I came out and said hello, but they didn't need me to tell them what to do, Linn had already discussed it with them.

They unloaded their ladders, power washer, etc. and got right to work on the damaged sections.  I had two sides that had no damage, so while most of the team was working on the damaged areas, one of the crew was powerwashing the undamaged sections.  Every time I went out to check and see if they needed anything, I was seeing how efficient and professional they were.  Over the course of the first day, they had deck cut back and the header out, damaged facia, trimwork and siding off and were working on replacing the damaged framing.  By the end of the first day, they had everthing done on three sides, with only one side to prep.    They stacked the supplies neatly, swept up and cleaned everything up-even power washed my patio.  Linn had been by at least once (probably more) to make certain everything was proceeding smoothly.

We had already agreed that the two days this job was going to take were going to be Saturday and Monday, because I had to be away on Sunday.  Monday morning, they were back again around 8am to finish.  Because of the low humidity and high heat, painting both coats were possible in one day.  They finished the siding install and trimwork and  the next thing I knew, they were covering all the doors and windows with plastic to protect them from paint and overspray.  One additional touch, they covered our vehicles in the driveway just in case overspray blew that way.  I have to admit, I was inside for virtually all of this, because I do not like heat.  I don't know how they did it.  Both days they were here, I bought the guys pizza and a few gallons of tea and water because I really couldn't do anything about the heat, but I could at least let them know I appreciated the hard work they were doing.

I came back outside around 4pm and they were literally done.  They were taking off the plastic and putting away their ladders and tools while one of the guys was powerwashing my sidewalk and area around my front door.  I shook everyones hand and was amazed at how incredible everyting looked.  The siding matched wonderfully, and everything Linn and I discussed looked great.  The paint made my whole house new, and I want Linn and his crew to do my roof when I need it replaced.  I had to work the rest of the week, but Linn is meeting me tomorrow for the final walkthrough.  He never asked for money up front, or half up front, he is getting paid when we meet tommorow.  I am completely satisfied, and I can only say, call this company if you need quality work by a quality crew who understands the real needs of their clients.

They did a meticulous job on my home and were willing to do more then just what I asked for. They give me some free advice on how to approach certain issues in my bathroom that saved me money.

They were pretty responsive and called me back the same day that I called them. He went out there the next day without my having to be there and faxed me the estimate. He went back and did the work when I asked him to do it and completed it in a day. He had said that it would take about 8 hours but it took them 12 hours and they were there that day until it was done. They were pretty thorough and cleaned up quite well. I was not expecting them to put in the brand new flashing but they did it. After they opened up the shingles, they found out that the previous people that did the work had put in flashing that was not white enough, and so they put in much whiter flashing in there. Their price was a little bit more than the other two people that I contacted. I was just happy with them and I certainly would recommend them to other people.

They did a great job, and I am very satisfied with the work.  The workers were very professional even having to clean up the mess from the other roofer.   I would recommend them to others as well as us them again in the future.

Start out really well getting most of the work done in 4 days. Rained one day then hard trouble getting the gutter crew to start then finish. What should have taken 4 days took three weeks.

We spent $7800 on that work. We thought the service was excellent and it was done in a timely fashion. The clean up done was also very good. We had an upgraded roof done and we were very pleased with that.

Gary with M&M Roofing, Siding and Windows was in constant contact from beginning to end. He explained everything in detail and he scheduled the work in a timely manner. The construction workers were professional and did excellent work. We had a lot of things done to the house and everything went as scheduled, with a short break when we had some rainy days. We changed our minds about the trim paint color, but the painter was very accommodating and the work went smoothly. We are very happy with the outcome of all the work.

The technician that did the work was really good. He was very skilled and did a good job. He replaced some rotten boards on the window sill, which I didn?t know were rotten. The salesman who came to give me a bid was very pleasant to work with. After the job was finished, they called me to know if I was satisfied with the work. It was a very nice followup after the job. They were not cheap.

They were prompt and professional with their bid which came in lower than the other companies we considered using. Since M&M was a reputable company we decided to use them. The roof work was done remarkably quickly, finished in one day, and the crew was very clean. The craftsmanship on all of the Hardi work was extremely good and the crew was very friendly and professional. The only major bump in the road that we hit had to do with the windows. It ended up that there was an error in the order and the wrong style of panes were originally installed. However, they fixed the problem and we were happy with the final result.

Very well. A weak point was the factory flashing for the roof windows. This crew used their own creative flashing and it's a much better job. On time and on budget with good cleanup.

Had been looking to get siding and windows done when I found M & M in the yellow pages. Gary came out a day later and was really up front about what needed to be done and what didn't. I had showed him the roof, because I thought the support structure may need to be fixed, but he said it looked fine to him. Instead I went with M & M to install windows, siding, and gutters. The windows turned out great with one of them twice as big as what was there before. The window and siding people worked together to make sure it all looked very nice and professional. With the trim included, it took about 4 days to install the windows and trim. It looks fantastic.

Gary was very patient as I went through the process of collecting bids to do the job. After deciding to go with M & M, they were able to start the following week. The whole job, including insulation and painting took about two weeks. Gary was very easy to communicate with and had his guys back out there if there were any problems I had with any of the work. Something I have found before with other companies was a lack of anyone that spoke English to be on a job. With M & M that wasn't a problem, as there was always someone there that spoke English. Made the whole communication process much simpler. The clean up was also very good as it can be really difficult to get all remnants of siding removal up, but they did a very good job with it. Gary was very up front about the whole process and was very detailed in the proposal. The one added amount different from what was discussed beforehand was once the soffit was removed, it was found there was no support structure for the siding, so one had to be built, which added on some money. The owner even called me after the job was finished to make sure I was satisfied, and this was a week after I had paid them. Very good customer service.
