Luke came to my house, gave me a bid and explained how and when everything would happen. He never tried to oversell me. When the two installers arrived, they again went over how everything would be done and took extra time to answer my questions. They were both VERY polite and professional. They cleaned up their mess after they completed the work. This company is great to do business with. I will definately use them again.

The entire job was performed professionally, from the initial bid and explanation of the product through the completion of the work. The company made some adjustments in their schedule to accommodate my needs and consulted with me during the project whenever questions came up. I would not hesitate to use them again.

WHY I CALLED: A raccoon and/or squirrel (s) ate/dug through my 20 yr old siding causing a big "hole" in the front of my townhome. I called three companies to get estimates and was prepared (and got) really scary prices. While the first company (NOT M&M) did understand that I wanted to try and save as much money as I could, they never mentioned replacing my siding w/ a better quality siding, rather looked at doing a replacement with like kind and quality materials. When I did some more researching on Angie's List, I found M&M Roofing & Siding (second company I called), based on their website, reviews, and "Big Deal coupon." I cancelled my meeting w/ the third company based on my experience w/ M&M. INITIAL MEETING: After scheduling an estimate, I got to meet w/ Luke Heintz, the project manager. After being shocked w/ the first company's estimate, I explained to Luke that I wanted, at the very least, the front portion siding replaced, after doing a full walk through, found that along w/ the front siding being replaced, it was a good idea to replace a couple of rows on the backside of my house's chimney, and the trim on window on backside of house. He didn't try and pressure me to replace anything that was still in good condition or push toward doing a complete whole house replacement. Overall, my initial impression of Luke, is that he is professional, has a great attention to detail, and is passionate about the work he does and really does "understand the customer." Also, In this meeting, was the first mention of the Hardi-Plank siding, he showed me the sample of the siding, and explained the benefits compared to what I had. (It's no wonder my house was a snack for a raccoon!) In the first meeting, I also received a folder that basically has all their qualifications/recommendations and warranty information. I was very happy w/ the first impression, and this in turn, made me feel very confident in my choice to use this company. SECOND MEETING: A couple of days later, I got my quote via email, with the price and also a drawing w/ highlighted areas of the replacement. I set a budget for myself and knew that I would accept if it was within the budget. After getting the estimate (less than budget!), I wrote him back to get a couple of clarifications on the areas and now that I was within my budget, started at looking at some additional painting areas as well, and there were some additional areas which are rotted that I wanted to see if I could squeeze into the budget. On the second meet-up, he brought over Sam (sorry,don't remember his job title, but the main guy managing the work) to get his opinion on replacing some of the rotting siding and showing the current areas. After getting Sam's opinion, decided not to touch the side of my house yet, as although it needs to be repaired w/in the next couple of years, it would be not within my current means. If I can avoid a loan or credit that is my preference. So, gonna save some money for this larger project and then do that in a couple/few years. We discussed doing a "finished" look in the front and back sections of my house as my first reasonable-sized project, this included painting my garage door and trim, my back porch ceiling and posts and installing some venting over the back porch to extend the life of the porch's roof, all while staying within my budget and with room to not completely cap-off my budget. WORK DAY: After agreeing to start the project, I was added onto the schedule the following week and given about a 2 day work window to get everything completed. Luke arrived w/ the crew early on the day as scheduled to get the paint codes/samples (which is a whole separate story, but still completely worked out.) The crew (handpicked for the job by Luke and Sam), got started right away, I believe it might have been two in the front of the house and two in the back? They put covers down on everything to protect my personal items and completely cleared my back porch (was not expecting) thought they'd just drape covers over everything , but they actually moved everything into my yard to protect them (AMAZING). When the back part of my house was completed, Sam asked me to take a look at everything and I was just blown away at what a big difference the paint made. He then asked me to open my garage so he could replace a piece of wood, and he also added a metal piece under where siding was replaced to have a place for rain water to flow off, instead of damaging the wood (MORE THAN EXPECTED). When the crew was done, (DONE IN ONE DAY!) Sam again had me take a look at everything, and I was just so happy with the results, it definitely exceeded my expectations. Everything was cleaned up and put back in their original locations and as discussed + more. PAYMENT: A day after work was completed, I met back w/ Luke to do a final walk-through and payment for the work. By the way, I looked at M&M first because of the ANGIE"S LIST "BIG DEAL" coupon initially because of the coupon, but, I didn't purchase it since my quote was under the $5,000 minimum. During this last meeting, again, I expressed my thanks for a well done job and easy start to finish experience. It was a pleasure to do business w/ this company and in a couple/few years I will look forward to bringing my business back to them to help me w/ the side of my house as my second larger project. OVERALL: A+ to the company, and in particular: Luke, Sam, and the crew! Thank you for helping me keep a beautiful investment on my home!

Chris Traweek was the lead on my new roofing project. Chris with M&M Roofing has EXCEPTIONAL customer service qualities. If he said he would call - he called. If he said he would be at my house - he was at my house. This has been the BEST experience I've ever had with a home improvement company. I agreed to a new roof on Saturday; the following Monday the roof was installed! From beginning to end getting a new roof installed has been easy, fast, efficient and just a great experience. If you need a roof - call Chris!!!

They were excellent. Had roof damage from hail. They came out, Chris Traweek was my contact, and he was great. He was NOT pushy, but informative and always available for questions. They came in the morning and left around five and I had a new roof!

Gary Loyd and his crew did a very professional job. They covered details I did not even think of, and made additional repairs above what was covered in the contract, and at no additional cost. They went out of their way to make sure I was completely satisfied with the job.

New metal roof, gutters, Hardy siding

This contractor responded the same day that I called. He returned my call promptly and scheduled an on-site inspection of the work required that afternoon. The supervisor Chris Traweek inspected the damage, gave me a fair estimate, and stated that the job could be scheduled by the end of the week. Chris and crew arrived on Thursday morning and the repairs were completed before noon. Chris inspected the finished work and made certain that everything met my expectations. Chris and crew were also very considerate of my two dogs. They accessed the roof from the front of the house, so that the dogs could remain in the backyard while his crew worked. I would definitely consider using M&M again.

A windy storm blew off about 15 shingles on my roof. The shingles where next to the ridge vent. I didn't know how to remove the ridge vent to replace these shingles so I called a few roofing companies. 3 or 4 companies came out to look at the problem and said it was too small of a job. M&M said they would do the repair, but would charge a minimum service fee. It was probably $200-$300 more than it was actually worth, but I couldn't fix the problem myself and no one else wanted to touch it. The repair was fine. No leaks.

It took a couple tries because the age of the chimney. It was leaking from more than one area around the flashing and roof area. It only leaks now when it rains a whole lot like in May when we had the 12 inches. It leaked very little compared to what it was. It's been a long wait between rain storms. The last time he came out I think it's finally fixed. The good thing is that Roland was always willing to come out after a heavy rain and fix where it leaked. He was always dependable, friendly and professional. He never charged me more than the quoted price. He really takes pride in his work. I would recommend Roland and M&M Roofing to my friends and family.

We were having trouble finding someone to do a small job on the roof. Normally we would do small jobs ourselves, but this was across the roofline. Roofers would come over and look at it, but no one would send an estimate or get back to us. We had used M&M back in March 2012 for a siding job on the chimney and they were very reasonable and did a great job.

They were excellent and did a very good job. They got the roofing job within one day. Overall a great experience.

I have not seen the work as I live out of town. They were very friendly and professional over the phone.

The service was great. The quality was good and they did what they said they would do. They followed up on a minor leak after the work and they took care of that after the roof installation as well. I had no complaint's at all. They were professional as well.

The service was excellent. They came when they said they would. They were clean and friendly to work with. They arrived on time and the work was quicker than they said it would be. They did the work at the same time and it only took about two hours. I had the owners cell number and could contact him at any time. I would use them for any roofing needs in the future. They gave a price and they stuck to that price. They were extremely professional.

The experience was good. they were very quick and conscientious with the bid. They gave us a good written proposal, but we ended up going with somebody else because I had several friends who had used the other contractor. The price was about the same as others who had quoted. I referred them to my kids because I thought they were very good.

They were very through and brought all the materials out. They knew what they were doing and were very quick. The main people who did the roof were great and the contractor for the whole thing was fine. The people who came out to do the gutters came out when I wasn't here and came a day early. They did not contact me at all. I would of liked to have notification.

A 40% chance for rain was predicted the day the work was scheduled (Monday, 8/12/13) . The owner called the evening before to say he would call back with a new date. He did call the next day and rescheduled us to Wednesday, 8/15/13. Workers knocked on the door at 7:30 AM and began work immediately. They stripped the roof to the decking, and repaired one 2' X 2' area that was damaged (using new decking). New 30lb felt was installed and all roof jacks were replaced with metal/lead types. As the new roof (30-year fiberglass) was being installed all vents were replaced with new ones as they were reached. All valley flashing was replaced with new metal. The dryer vent was replaced with a type that could be opened and cleaned (much better than the original vent). All trash and used material was dumped in the container as work proceeded - nothing was intentionally thrown to the ground. The roof was completed at 2:30 PM. Then the crew picked up any trash around the house and ran a magnet over the yard and driveways to get any stray nails/staples. The owner arrived at about 4:00 PM and he and I did an inspection of the roof and the attic to verify that all vents & stacks were properly reconnected, and then the yard to insure all debris was gone. I could not be better satisfied: the price was good, the materials were as promised, the work was done expeditiously and the finished job is a credit to M&M Roofing. I would unreservedly recommend them to anyone needing a roof.

Individual was nice; however, I felt the price was too high.

The job went very well. The workers showed up on Monday August 5th and began work on the back porch roof. Audie came by at least once each day to check up on how things were going. The workers began work immediately and it was obvious that they knew what they were doing. Even though it was the hottest week of the year, they worked diligently and completed the job on time. They usually arrived between 8:30 and 9:00 am and worked until 7:30 or 8:00 at night. All the workers were very respectful and they would answer any questions I had about what they were doing. They would do what they could to make any changes I wanted. I was able to take off work for most of the job, but the evenings that I did have to go in, they locked and secured my back yard when they left. I could not be happier with the job that was done. I feel like my 30 year old home is new again. After the job was complete, Audie came over to collect payment and it was exactly what his estimate said it would be plus 75 dollars to repair some tree damage on another part of my roof.

Was told that do not do window repair, that could only replace entire window.

Process went well. Job came in as promised, no surprises. I worked with Audie and he was solid. Got a follow up call from the owner, which was nice. I had every opportunity to raise a complaint, but I really didn't need to. If I did it again, the only thing I would change is that I would want a foreman. Sometimes it was hard to tell who was in charge, and not many of the guys spoke English. That's the only downside, and I think you'll see that anywhere in Texas - wouldn't have been as difficult if I spoke Spanish. Solid company, and I fully recommend them.

We were impressed with this company from the very beginning of the process. The estimate visit included a very detailed inspection, and we were given a folder that answered many questions we had not yet even thought to ask, and the pricing was very competitive. We decided to go with them after getting 3 other estimates because they had paid attention to our particular concerns, remembered all of our details for the job on the final estimate, answered all of our questions very quickly, and they did not require payment until the job was finished and we were satisfied with the results. All those things gave us a lot of peace of mind. The crew that came were all very nice, very respectful of our property, and were extremely hard working. It was 100 degrees when they did our roof and we were amazed at their abilities. We have satellites on our roof for internet and TV we were a bit concerned about getting those back up and working but it turns out the workers had a very efficient system in place for handling satellite dishes and we barely noticed when they we off the roof since they had them back in place correctly so quickly. The job was done completely to our satisfaction and the clean up was very thorough. We could not have asked for a smoother process or a better company to work with. Our roof and fascia boards look great.

Chris Traweek was project manager, his sales presentation was well prepared, professional and complete. Initial meeting was informative and he answered all our questions. He provided scenarios as examples of his previous experiences which assisted us in making decision as to which vendor to select. Once we signed a contract, Chris gave us dates for the delivery of materials and employees reporting to work. The material was delivered as stipulated but project was delayed one day due to unexpected rainfall. However, he contacted us as soon as he could to inform us of the delay. Employees arrived on new scheduled start date, were polite, professional but friendly. Chris was present during project, checked progress and status of work, spent time with us to show and discuss with us the progress/status of project. They encountered major problem with shed roof but Chris quickly handled the problem, kept us informed, resolved and finished the shed beautifully. Chris and his work group completed the project on time, as per written contract with excellent results. Two months have passed since the install and we have not encountered any problems.
