He mainly did foundation and framing and other little things. The main thing was communication and schedule. They just didn't do anything according to the time table they said they were going to. And then, repeatedly there were things that they didn't do up to the plans and I had to call them up to fix it and redo it. There were some things that they just didn't even finish and I just finished myself. After having them redo it multiple times, it turned out okay. You never know when they come or when they're leaving or how long they're staying or when the job will be finished. But when they're around, they're nice. They need to improve on communication and sticking to their estimates and not going off to do other jobs and leaving mine to not be done.

We were not too happy with them mainly with their workmanship. It could have been a lot better. There were 4 people here doing the work. There was no problems with scheduling.

Provider failed to return my phone calls to rebook appointment at my house that they had to cancel.

Went to house to to see where the concrete driveway was needed. They said they would call me back with an estimate. Never called back. About two weeks later I started calling then but never returned the calls. I gave up after the fourth call.

They were all right and did a good job. They used relatively high quality materials and the communication was good. There were a few delays, but it's probably to be expected with a larger project.

I had a great experience. I called Angel for an estimate and he came later that day to take a look. I had already dug out the garage floor and told him about my problem with water seeping in during heavy rain (unfortunately not a problem recently). He recommended some changes that I had not considered and we incorporated them into the job. His estimate was very reasonable and he was able to schedule for my next day off. Angel called me the day before the job was to be done to verify I was ready and told me when he would be there, when the concrete would arrive, and when they would be done. The next day he arrived when he said he would. One thing I was delighted to find was that this is a family run company, I like to support local small business as much as I can. I suppose the down side of this is that if you are expecting big company treatment such as professional invoices and workers in uniforms and such this would not be the company for you. Our business was conducted with a handshake and payment was with with personal check. The job itself went well. I have had trouble with some contractors in the past because I have a very old house in central Austin and there is always some peculiarity or another that throw them for a loop. In this case it turns out my garage was not level or squared. Angel pointed this out and asked if I wanted the floor leveled to the garage or to absolute level. I chose to have it set to absolute level. We also had to change the line at the front so that the garage door would close properly. They took all this in stride and it seemed to me they had encountered this before and so it wasn't a very big deal. I was concerned initially because it seemed they were very relaxed as they were working, I was wondering if they were really going to get the job done in time. In retrospect it turns out they had just arrived pretty early and so had plenty of time to prep before the concrete truck arrived. The real action started when the truck arrived. The pour itself was magnificent. I had actually contemplated doing it myself but after watching Angel and his crew I knew I had made the right decision to bring them in. Everyone snapped to attention and the way they worked together was great to watch. It all happened in a fast and smooth manner. Afterwards, because it was a cold day it took a longer for the concrete to set than anticipated but Angel and his crew didn't rush it, they waited for as long as it took even though it meant they were there longer than expected. The next day I went out to get a good look at the floor and was very pleased with the result. I know I've rambled on a bit but I am quite pleased with my new garage floor, I put up with the dirt floor for years and am so happy to have a "real" garage now. So to sum it up - Angel is courteous and professional, his crew is experienced, and they do great work at a very reasonable price.

When it comes to concrete, Angel knows how to get the job done at the price you can afford! Angel took the time to scope out the work thoroughly, came up with some great ideas to meet my engineering requirements, while keeping the cost down. He was always on time, he finished on time, and didn't sneak in any hidden charges. Angel was an absolute pleasure to work with, and his crew was great as well…they were all very hard working! I highly recommend these guys!
