I could not be more pleased. Everyone was so professional, courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and nice. They worked fast but supremely well and were in and out quickly. Jimmie even cleaned up the work area when he finished although I told him it wasn't necessary. I will definitely hire them again!

sent original email 7/28; talked to my husband 7/31 gave price for labor and said would look for lights. I finally followed up to see if had found lights on 8/14 and said he had not. Went quoted price again and basically told us it would be normal/better if we picked out lights ourselves. So we went to find lights, I sent the info on 8/20 and never heard back.

When I talked with Malco Electric Inc to schedule the work I was informed that there is a driving charge of $48.00. They said I will be charged this because I am out of the 787 zip code area. Just be aware if you are in surrounding Austin areas this may be the case for you.

I reviewed Malco Electric a few weeks ago in a bad way for good reasons but since, I have had good conversation with the owner and decided to change my view of his company. The issue was a lack of good communication and we both agreed on sharing the blame. The exhaust fans are working properly and I would use them again in the future.

Electrician was professional and efficient. Also advised me on a couple of future projects I asked about. Happy with service.

The exterior lights couldn't be installed without adding/extending conduit to the boxes under the eaves. That would be too costly. Just decided to only use LED lights as replacements. Removal of fluorescent fixture in bathroom was clean. Track light and pendants were a little more involved and installation took longer than expected. Installer was patient and explained what he was doing and how I could add to the track in the future.

Chris Lee was outstanding, professional, responsive, informative, and very courteous. I have had them out twice one for some customer work and another to trouble shoot an issue. Both times I can’t be happier,

John answered the phone, and told me that we would be charged $150 just for an estimate for repair work. We cannot do business with a company that won't tell us how much they will charge us, without charging us $150. UPDATE: 6/28/2017 What I requested was an estimate on a home we were already scheduled to close on. We wanted you to provide a quote the day we closed on the property for work to be done as soon as possible. Our hope was to have the electrical work completed prior to the movers showing up two days later. I am not a realtor, I have no "tactic" nor agenda to "gain a better price and not allow you to do the work." We typically get 3 quotes for any contracted labor, and hire the company that we feel is the most honest and fair in price. At your rate, it would cost us $450 to acquire 3 quotes, in order to hire a contractor. We also can not afford this type of price gouging for an estimate. We found our forever electrician elsewhere. He is honest, honorable and full of integrity. I'm disappointed in the business practice of Malco Electric , and will not recommend them to anyone.
