Description of Work: We had several small projects we hoped would fill the two-hour service time, which cost $144 for the Angie's List offer. We wanted to get a new dimmer switch, replace a burned-out plug and shorten a two-story ceiling fixture. John Reyner, a very pleasant, competent guy, got them done in about an hour, so we asked him to install a light in our pantry. I did not ask, however, how long it would take or what the entire cost would be because I was thrilled he was willing to tackle it. It took an extra 90 minutes, and cost us and additional $145, which also included $35 in materials. (I had already bought an LED fixture for the pantry and a dimmer switch.) John accidentally cut through the wall into the laundry room, which is why I gave him a B for quality But he reduced our bill by $50, since we would have to pay our paint crew that amount to repair it. We also covered the additional cost of having the crew patch up the series of holes that were left in the pantry wall where the new electric line was threaded. (I'm not sure what the crew's entire repair job cost us because it was rolled into the cost of having the house repainted.) Still, it was an entirely pleasant experience because all our minor electrical issues were resolved in one morning.

Description of Work: Jeff installed a chandelier, dimmer, outlets and a hard to reach light fixture. When we were missing an attachment he made one out of spare parts. He also fit outlet covers into a small space by trimming them just right. Add a great attitude to this and you have a great electrician. Also professional scheduling helps make Malco a good choice

Description of Work: Did a great job adding an extra exterior outlet. Paid extra to have it raised about 5 feet and a switch added. We could not be happier.

Description of Work: Angie's good deal - Whole house electrical safety inspection. Checked all circuits in the house, identified and marked breakers, checked all the GFIs and replaced one. Outside - checked breaker box, cleaned and painted the exterior. Very happy with the electrician and the peace of mind following his checkup.

Description of Work: Our electric fireplace blower needed replaced and it was too complicated for me to figure out how to do it. Jeff came out and took out the old one and installed the new one in under the 2 hours I paid for. Watching him do it I was glad I didn't attempt to rewire it myself. On time, knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again.
