Jeff was very professional and efficient. He explained everything that he was going to do before he started his work, and he asked if we had any questions. He worked for 90 minutes and provided some materials. Everything is working now. We would definitely hire Malco Electric again.

After purchase of the deal from Angie's list, there was a quick email response from Malco Electric to set up a date for the services. I was offered multiple dates and am or pm hours to best fit my schedule. The date of service I got a call from the tech to advise on an arrival time.and he did show up on the agreed time. The work took a little longer than I had estimated, but not by much, and it was my estimate not the technician's. The work was performed in a timely and professional manner and the tech was very polite. I was very pleased with the work and would use Malco again for electrical work if the need arises.

Showed up exactly on-time. Did the work very quickly and cleanly. I thought the price was reasonable and he help educate me on my back door lighting system. Would recommend and use again for sure.

After reading the reviews with A's across the board, I felt like they were well qualified and I was ensured a good experience, a good job and a fair price. The tech was able to replace the smoke detector with no problem. Checked out the ceiling fan lighting wiring system because the lights kept shutting off after being lit for a short time. He found everything in tact. The reason for my average review:I provided the material, he was here for a very limited time (30 minutes) and was charged $144- which in my opinion was overpriced for the time and work performed.

The electrician was prompt, polite and kept me informed about when the power was going to be turned on and off . Setting up the appointment was easy.

Spoke with Randy Mallory, who came by for the estimate. Randy wasn't the cheapest, but we went with him anyway. Gary was the electrician who came out with a helper--I apologize if I got that name incorrect. These gentlemen were professional and made short work of our job. We had five smoke alarms wired into the house and wanted them replaced with combination smoke alarm/carbon monoxide alarms. I also had a lighted vanity mirror to be installed in the master bath, but didn't want to use the existing plug inside the countertop tower. The work was completed in a timely manner and the guys cleaned up after themselves. The assistant placed the mirror lower than I had indicated, but Gary came back the following week to move it to the correct place.

Very good! Randy Mallory was very helpful and was able to schedule the work within 24 hours of my call. I will definitely use Malco Electric in the future.

Excellent, professional, reasonably priced, knowledgable, and trustworthy. Hard-to- come-by-traits these days! Women sometimes get taken advantage of by people coming to work on the house since many of us are clueless when it comes to repairs and electrical things. Randy was awesome! He was timely, didn't try to sell me everything under the sun, honest, and a true family man. I called because my inspector found issues with the breaker box, and the seller did not provide me with receipts showing he fixed it. I called Randy at Malco, and he came to check that it was safe and sound. He could have easily told me my breaker box needed work or tried to get me to buy more services. But no! He looked at it and said I didn't actually need anything done--and it was in good shape. Then we shot the breeze talking college football. I feel safe at home, not taken advantage of, and I know who I will call if I need anything electrical done again. Again--so hard to find honest and knowledgable (and polite!) people these days (and I am probably the pickiest and most critical person in the world...so please trust me when I recommend someone or a company!). I've used these guys twice and see no reason to work with anyone else when it comes to electrical work. They are on time, honest and do great work! I'm sure everyone there is great but I recommend asking for John :) he's a lovely man and does great work!

We called Malco based on Angie's reviews. John arrived on time, ready to work. He was very knowledgeable about all things electrical and explained everything to me, answering my questions as he went along . After installing some dedicated outlets (his work is clean and neat), he continued on throughout the house completing numerous small electrical jobs (fixing wiring or advising light fixture replacement as needed. He even found one light that just needed a new bulb--and was honest enough to tell me so.) He was conscientious and advised us on ways to save money if we so desired. I will be purchasing a few light fixtures for him to install on his next trip out. He was here most of the day, and I feel that we got a good value for our money. There is something very comforting about knowing that an electrical job has been done right.

They were on time. He explains everything he was doing and he even went into how to prevent it when the problem is occurring. He was very informative and very professional.

The owner was rude, unprofessional, didn't do the job in the manner promised. Within one year some of the equipment failed (surge protector). And now I have had an electrical fire at the property!

I swapped out our old broken down propane water for a new electric one this past weekend. I thought that I knew how to do this kind of wiring, but when the switch was thrown the water heater did not work. I checked out everything that could go wrong three or four times, but to no avail. A call to Randy Mallory of Malco Electric solved the problem. He came out this afternoon, examined the circuit breaker box, and found the problem immediately. I had installed the circuit breaker in the wrong slot so that the water heater was not getting 240V. Randy repositioned the breaker, and checked the connections at the water heater to make sure everything was "up to snuff." We now have hot water! My wife is happy . . . I am happy! Randy was prompt, very courteous, and professional. If ( when) we have another electrical "situation," we will be sure to call Malco Electric. Great guy, great work.

My initial call was cordially received and a desired appointment time was established. I was contacted 45 minutes prior to the electrician's arrival to confirm that his arrival would coincide with my needs. Upon arrival, I showed the electrician what was needed and he worked continually without interruption while I was entertaining a guest in another part of my home. When he completed the job, he asked for a broom and dust pan to clean up the areas where he had been working. Overall the service was provided in a prompt and efficient manner by an electrician who was courteous, thoughtful, and non intrusive. I would definitely use this company again. C.M.

He is very good. I have recommended him to somebody yesterday and they were very happy with him too. My husband is a home builder, so he is pretty knowledgeable; he found some stuff that we didn't even find. He is very professional and very prompt. He is always there right on time.
