After contact with the owner, I'm amending my previous review. I believe I acted in haste & should have contacted the company due to the misunderstanding. The electrician was very courteous & did a good job of installing the lights. He was just unable to remove the box around them because it was beyond his expertise.

I had John and Jeff out to hang a chandelier that a previous service provider had dropped and destroyed. John and Jeff were both very prompt and very professional. The guys assed the situation came up with a plan of action and executed on that plan with flawless precision. I will be using Malco for any and all future electrical projects.

The two technicians were prompt, polite , and knowledgable. I will call them again. Their prices are comparable to others and I was able to use Angies list coupon for a discount.

The electrician Ronnie Adair showed up on time and called me to let me know he was on the way. He was professional when he arrived! I showed him what I needed repaired he went to work and finished everything I needed done in the Two hour package I bought! It was the best $ 144.00 I've spent in a long time! I will definitely use Malco Electric again!

The scheduler called promptly and was very polite and efficient. I described my light hanging project and suggested that perhaps 2 people would be required. She allowed me to talk to John the installer who asked me to send pictures so that he could assess the job. That was a good idea. My only complaint was that nobody informed me I would pay double the cost if the second person came along. I was a bit surprised at the size of the bill after the light was installed. It may be a fair price but I was not expecting it.

When I ordered the service of "Two Hours Electrical Service for $134" I was very excited. I thought I was getting a really good deal. But by the time the work was finished, I had to pay an additional $256.24. Who knew replacing three ceiling fans would end up costing $390.24? Jeff, the man who did the labor, took 4 1/2 hours to replace three fans. There was a small problem in my son's room where Jeff had to fixed the switches; one to control the fan, and one to control the light. But it wasn't an arduous task, And yet it still took 4 1/2 hours to replace three fans. I read in the Angie's list description how important it was to have your project ready for the service person when he arrived. So I cleaned the rooms for him to have ample room to work under the fan. And I put the new replacement fans in each bedroom on the bed. I just don't understand why it took so long and had to cost so much. He left the rooms messy with cardboard and wire pieces on the carpet. I wish I had done the job myself. I'm a fair person, and generally easy to please, so to write this review took much consideration. Disappointed and broke.

I am very pleased. The scheduler who I spoke with over the phone was very friendly and efficient. Then Jeff called me bright and early on the day of scheduled service to let me know he was en route. The work itself was perfectly done, and I felt it was a great value with the Angie's list coupon. I'll definitely call them again when I need additional electrical service.

He was great, did the job well. Was very polite and easy to communicate with. The only thing I would complain about was that it was pretty obvious he was milking the time spent on the task towards the end. I noticed when he was finished the installation he began to spend a LOT of time talking to me about what other things I can do and details I didn't really need to know about. He kept going on & he was even talking pretty slowly. Then surprise, he ended up going over the time by 10 min and charged me for an extra half hour of labor which was a lot considering their hourly rate. I felt kind of ripped off. I would prefer to only pay for labor, not pointless conversation.

Everything went as planned. There were some minor issues with our panel found in a home inspection and the electrician spent about an hour and a half making sure everything was up to code and labeled correctly.

We needed a new ceiling fan installed in our older home quickly before the weekend and Jeff at Malco did just that. It was very last minute but Sherry from their office was very sweet and accomodating. We were unable to meet Jeff at the house so we left him a key. He was in and out before we got home and did a great clean job. The price was very fair considering other electricians we looked up.

They called ahead to let me know they were on their way. Arrived as scheduled and began work promptly. It took 2men to install the chandelier. I was so pleased that they initiated the need to go up in the attic to make adjustments to add support for the fixture because it was heavy. They installed all additional work with ease. Very courteous and professional, and even put furniture back in place. I would definitely use them again! Also, when I called their office to schedule the work, the office staff was very courteous and helpful. Nice to be met this great customer service!

Making appointment was easy, showed up on time, was a fast worker.

Everything went well. Had a discussion about the out of service fee, but they were good at resolving the issue. Very pleased overall, and would recommend/use them again.

He came out on time and proceeded to take care of the work to be done. Fast, efficient and professional. Found the problems in the "Tin Can" lights and life was good. I liked doing business with them and would definitely use them the next time I need an electrician.

I called Malco and explained that I needed immediate help because I had a sprinkler/irrigation company that was scheduled to come to our home pending the completion of some electrical work we had started. The people at Malco were very responsive and were able to send out an electrician that morning, which was extremely helpful. Two months have elapsed and I've forgotten names, but the owner was very patient as I tried to translate my husband's explanation of what needed to be done over the phone, and he even placed a call to my husband to confirm afterwards. The electrician arrived and was very professional and nice, and he communicated well with both of us. The amount of time we were charged for was quite reasonable, as was the cost. Because we had done some preliminary digging and running wire ourselves, we appreciated that they were able to keep the cost down. We both highly recommend Malco and would hire them again.

The electrician was punctual and professional. I had a laundry list of potential projects. He charged by the hour beginning when he walked through the door so I should have spent less time asking questions. I wish the consultation had been free because we probably could have gotten one more project done. So . . . tip for the future, know exactly what you want done and have everything ready to go - including taking fixtures out of the box and having light bulbs ready.

The electrician was professional, punctual, and did a good job.

Electrician actually arrived early. I showed him where i needed the fixtures installed and he did the work without issue.

We just moved to this area, and didn't know who to use for this vital electric work. I saw the reviews for this company on Angie's List and decided that they were the one that I wanted to use. I could NOT be happier with that choice. Literally every person that we've come in contact with has been friendly and responsive. They were even able to do a last minute reschedule for us, when our calendar unexpectedly filled up. The gentleman who arrived at our house was there first thing in the morning (perfect!) and fixed everything that we needed. My husband was home at the time, and said that the electrician walked him through what he was doing, which he appreciated (sure, we're not electricians, but its' still cool to know what's going on). When I got home from work, I could see that two GFCI outlets were installed in our garage (having two, not one, GFCI was a suggestion made by the electrician, based on what he discovered about our wiring, as he was working, which we definitely appreciate!) and the switch for the light was working like a charm. Moving to a new house and new part of town is daunting. Having our house functioning properly, and knowing that we've got reliable help if something goes wrong, or needs improvement, goes a long way to helping us feel like we're getting settled here. Malco gave us a great value for an excellent service. We will definitely contact them for future electrical work.

On time Good communication with company and electrician

The repair was very straightforward. A 50amp circuit breaker to my spa failed, so power was not getting to the spa. When I called for service, Randy asked me what kind of breaker I had. I sent him a photo of it, and when Abel had the right part with hm when he arrived. He quickly determined that the breaker was defective and replaced it. The office confirmed the appointment the day before they came. Abel arrived on time and called before he came. He was very courteous, and I was glad the problem was fixed. Although this was a simple, straightforward job, I would definitely use Malco Electric again in the future.

Service was great. Very friendly, prompt and helpful. I needed and electrician to installed electrical outlets and moved some outlets for our new cabinets and equipment on a SATURDAY and they were GREAT!

Was able to make a next day appointment as the company had a cancellation (but even if they hadn't, they were going to fit me in the following day). Was surprised and impressed at how quick they could get an electrician out to my house. The very kind lady who scheduled my appointment was easy to speak with about the issue I was having with a dishwasher. And Jeff (the electrician that came out) was great! He gave a call about 40 minutes before he was coming over and he showed up early. Very professional, answered all my questions and agreed to change out a switch that wasn't part of the original issue of why I called but something I had wanted done for awhile. This is a fabulous company and I am definitely going to call them again for future work.
