 + -1 moreI purchased Maestro's coupon on the Anglies List site upfront for $175 on April 21st, filled out the online service request - no response. Following week, sent separate email thru their company website contact at gotomaestro.com - no response. Angieslist customer service rep called them and left a msg on their company voice mail system ----- no response. I called them on their company voice mail system and left a personal msg with my name, my location, what I purchased, what work I needed, my email address and my phone number ----- no response. I was refunded the pre-purchased coupon of $175 from Angies List which has great customer service! A for Angieslist customer service.. As for Maestro.....well they need to rethink their company strategy and perhaps delist from Angies...and focus on corporate high end systems...they are not a residential option...

Very detail and very clean. He inspected everything one more time before he left. Joseph called one more time to make sure everything is ok. That is what I call customer services.

I did speak with an individual and text them my information but have never been contacted about scheduling service. I estimated the cost of what I think would have been charged for the work I needed. Still looking for a reliable vendor for anyone else seeing this review that has any recommendations.

 + -1 moreThe wife and I are extremely happy with the results. Maestro did an excellent job with the installation, especially with the in-wall wiring. It took a little time to complete the job, but it was no ordinary task we were asking them to perform. It's two months later and everything is still working without a hitch. They performed some additional work for us, as well. We had them add an extra internet drop downstairs in the living room, where there were none. And they programmed one of the URC MX 780 universal remotes for our home theater in the loft also. The price for all the work they performed was phenomenal. I'd highly recommend these guys. Originally, I even called Bjorn's and the Geek Squad, here in San Antonio, to inquire about them performing the work, but in the end, the best guys won out.
Description of Work: I had a very cool, but complicated entertainment set-up that the wife and I wanted for our bedroom. As hobbies, we're both movie enthusiasts and we enjoy playing video games. For watching movies, we have a very nice (higher end) home theater set-up in our loft, but we wanted a dual entertainment set-up in the bedroom for our gaming. With a set-up of this nature, we could game together without one of us having to leave the bedroom to play in the home theater. What we decided on, was to do an identical dual entertainment set-up, so it would have an aesthetic matching look. We bought matching sets of everything; two 65" Panasonic TVs, two LG sound bars, two Xbox Ones, two Playstation 4s, two Xbox 360s, two DVDO Edge Greens (high end video upscalers and HDMI switchers), two high-end gaming PCs (that we already owned) and two URC MX 780 remote controls and one MX 890 remote control. We also bought two full motion and tilt (30" extension) Sanus TV mounts with the sound bar extension. In addition, we bought high-end backlighting for the TVs and really nice matching entertainment consoles to house everything. Needless to say, we wanted the ultimate gaming home theater set-up for our bedroom. The problem we were running into trying to find someone to perform the install and set up for us, was that the products for each set-up were of the same brand. Just about everyone we spoke to said because we were doing a dual set-up with the same product brands in the same room, we weren't going to be able to control the set-up using two separate remotes. They said, if we used one remote for my wife's set-up, for example, it would change something on my set-up too. Well, then I found Maestro Integrations. When everyone else was either saying, "No, it's not possible to control your dual set-up without crossing signals" OR "We can do it, but it'll cost you", Maestro Integrations was the only one saying, "Yes, it's possible!" and then for a fair rate.

 + -1 moreProvider promised to come by one day and then called that morning and asked to reschedule as there was an emergency in San Antonio. Arrived on sheduled date and provided some ideas as to what could be done for home theatre. He promised to provide information, costs by Tuesday, Nov 5th. I never heard from him and therefore sent an email on Friday, Nov 8th. I received an email the next day with an apology that an emergency came up in Dallas early in the week. I responded with my disapointment around communication, and informed him he could still bid on the work but I was now looking elsewhere for service as well.

The only hiccup was that the installer came out the first time and while the sale said, "we mount any TV 65" or smaller", the mount they brought did not fit my older LG TV. This still wouldn't be an issue, but the installer said, "I'll call you and come back early next week." I had to call him back a week and a half later when I didn't hear anything back. BUT - the owner came out to my house and made sure everything went smoothly. So...while it took a little longer than I had hoped, it ended up perfect. I would recommend these guys....I just had a delay in service myself.

 + -1 moreI got the big deal for this service. They called me to set up a time and were prompt. They finished the work in about an hour and a half. He was working alone and I think it would have been faster had he had an associate to help him. The Big Deal was only for the mounting of the TV. I paid an extra amount to get the wires hidden in the wall. (I don't recall how much I paid total nor the Big Deal price). The pricing seemed reasonable to me. I am very happy with the results. My only regret is that mounting the TV makes it look smaller. That is no problem because the mount can accommodate a bigger TV in the future.

 + -1 moreWhen I talked to Joseph first, I thought the TV mounting deal includes reprogramming the Dish Network remote control. However, it appeared to be my misunderstanding. After the project was completed, II was told I need to use 2 separate remote controls for TV and receiver, which I really wanted to avoid in the first place. I called Dish Network to reprogram their remote the following day. It was easy, but then the remote control for the DVD player no longer worked in the same way I had known. I called back Joseph to fix it. It took a week for him to come back, but he patiently explained to me how to use the reprogrammed Dish Network remote for my DVD player as well. Eventually I found out I need to use a separate remote control for the DVD player, but it's okay as it has been that way. TV is mounted on the wall in a right position so it's very comfortable for me to watch TV now. Initially I was a little disappointed but it turned out well.
Description of Work: Move an existing TV from a family room to a master bedroom and set up. Mount a new TV in the family room and set it up along with a DVD player. Create a new power source behind the TV so that power cable as well as other wires are concealed.
