it all went well. Cleaning was thorough and all areas suggested for cleaning, and a few extra, were completed.

Lucy's team has been AWESOME. I've been using them for about 2 years. They come and they clean the big stuff, yes, but also the nooks and crannies. I am very organized at work but a bit of a mess at home, and they help with tidying and dishes. With other housecleaning services I've used, there's always some cobweb that never gets cleaned or item that never gets dusted that ends up annoying me. That has never happened with Lucy's service. They do, however, have a strict list of things that they won't do (or at least not without a special fee), which includes laundry and cleaning the refrigerator, so don't expect to be able to negotiate for those items. Since she usually sends 2-3 people, they are in and out quickly. They generally show up at the time promised, with only a few exceptions in 2 yrs. Most of the workers are primarily Spanish speakers, so it helps if you can hablar un poco de Espanol. But, if not, they will make it work, and Lucy herself speaks excellent English for scheduling and arrangements. I've used 6-7 other cleaning services in my 20 years in Austin, and Lucy's is by far the best!

I used to use this service in my home. I recently sold my house and moved into an apartment, i.e. and quot;man-caveand quot;. Lucy sent someone the same day and worked a cleaning miracle.

They were great. They exceeded our expectations and I would call them if I ever needed housecleaning again.

I really do know of anything we disliked. My brother was living with my mom at the time. So, he would know more about it than I do, but from everything I heard from both my mom and my brother, they were both very pleased with the service. I did not hear anything negative. The price seems maybe a little high for what they are doing. The quality of the work seemed fine. I believe there were no any problems with when they were coming or anything. We are probably not going to use them because the only reason is my mom has moved up with me and this is an area outside of where they provide services. We are quite away and for that reason, we cancelled services.

Lucy and her team of 4 were fantastic. It was an empty house that needed a full professional cleaning after move out to ready for new owners. She and her crew were running a bit long on prior appointment but she sent another team member ahead to meet me at the house as scheduled. He started work on some items requiring a ladder and garage sweep out while waiting for the rest of the team to arrive. A thorough cleaning was done including wipe out of all cabinets and drawers, ceiling fans, baseboards and door/window moldings, hard water stains from showers. Lucy call me about 30 minutes ahead of when job would be done so I could return in time from running errands.

They cleaned well. The people were nice and friendly. I will use them again in a couple of weeks and see how they do on a regular basis. I am very picky, and I like a thorough cleaning. However, I would like to have a set number of hours and pay them that way instead of by the job. Sometimes I have extra things that I need done, and that way I would know how much time I had.

They did a good job and I would use them again.

Lucy and her team are thorough and provide quality service at a very reasonable price. We have been using them for nearly two years now and are very pleased - we plan to continue using them indefinitely. We love the smell of our clean home each day that they have serviced our home, and they are extremely easy to work with. They even fold our laundry and put away the dishes, and have no problem with our dog. They are a family-owned business and we are pleased with the service.

I didn't call until the day before I needed them to come. I explained that I would need them the following morning and there was no hesitation - Lucy said they would be there at 8:00 AM and they were there right on time. The minute they got there they went to work21 They cleaned EVERYTHING including ceiling fans, blinds, interior windows, changed linens, dusted, vacuumed, mopped, toilets, showers, tubs, lavatories and the entire kitchen.

She showed up late. She did very little work and spent too much time on the phone. She only accomplished about 10% of the work that I asked her to complete.

We used them to clean after we moved out of the house we recently sold. The two person crew showed up at 8:00am sharp and worked until around noon on our 1700 square foot house. When they left the house was very clean and I was pleased with the job they did.

I contacted Joe Mancha for a make-ready of my ~2000 sqft home on 5/30. The floors of my house are tile/concrete/bamboo with the only carpet being on the stairwell and upstairs hall. I was given an estimate of $185 ($175 for the house and an additional $10 to sweep out the garage) and scheduled an appointment for 6/1 at 7:30 in the morning. At the time it was my intention to move in the following Monday. Assuming they started promptly at 7:30am (I had left the door unlocked for them) I would guess his team cleaned for approximately 2.5 hrs the morning of his appointment - they were finishing up when I came to check on them around 10 am. All of the team (4 in total) except for Joe left before I could complete my inspection of their work. There were a number things I noticed immediately following the appointment: 1) The tops of the door frames and the refrigerator had not been cleaned - there was still a thick layer of dust along the door frames that Joe acknowledged and made an offhand attempt to clean while I was doing my walk-through. 2) The interior of refrigerator had not been properly cleaned - the inside baskets had traces of dirt/mold. I would guess that, instead of removing and cleaning them separately, his crew simply wiped down the interior of the fridge. 3) Neither of the two pieces of furniture (an armchair and a small dresser) had been touched by the crew. Joe, at my request, made a cursory attempt to vacuum the armchair but did not offer or attempt to clean the dresser. 4) The carpet had not been vacuumed sufficiently to remove visible dust and debris. I complained about this to Joe but he was not willing to bring his crew back to complete the job properly. 5) A bucket of discarded cleaning bottles/rags was left on the property - I notified Joe of this directly following my appointment but he did not follow up until two days later at which point my neighbors had actually already disposed of the garbage. I ended up delaying my move by a week so that I could clean the house on my own. During this time I found numerous cabinets that had been missed (in general about a third of the cabinets had been missed and of those that were and quot;cleanedand quot; none of the upper shelves had been touched). Basic details such as cobwebs in floor and ceiling corners had been missed as well and while the concrete/tile had been mopped walking barefoot resulted in a fair amount of residual dust on the bottoms of my feet - I'm guessing they did not bother to vacuum first before mopping. I was in a hurry to hire a cleaning company and Mancha cleaning was one of only a few companies that was able to make it out to my house within a week for a reasonable price. However, while a basic clean was performed, the shallowness of the work and lack of attention to detail left me with the distinct impression that the job was hurried and thus almost intentionally shoddy - there are too many omissions (such as the cabinets and carpet) that were to glaring to simply have overlooked. In retrospect I should have been more inclined to withhold payment but at first glance I convinced myself that they had done an adequate job. It wasn't until I stumbled across some of the more glaring omissions later on that I started to think otherwise.

When Lucy's crew first started cleaning our home several years ago, we were extremely happy with the service. They were thorough and took their time when cleaning and straightening. Over the last year or so, we have seen a marked decline and inconsistency in the quality of the service and cleaning. The basics (counters, toilets, floors, sinks) are generally well-cleaned (though inconsistently so); however, the cleaners continually put things away in places that I cannot find them. We will come home after the cleaning to find chairs sitting in the middle of the room (as if they couldn't be scooted under the counter or table). Most recently (and to me, the most serious), they have not been replacing the outlet covers after vacuuming. We have a toddler who is fascinated by cords and wires, so we have to be extra-careful to ensure that all of the outlets are covered.

Owners are very personable. Appointment arranged last minute and we were lucky to get the cleaners. We were told the deep cleaning would make the place sparkle. I suspect the two ladies that arrived that Sat. were not their best employees. They arrived late and began doing a good job that declined in quality as the morning passed. Lower oven door and inside lower oven drawer not wiped. Door trims not wiped. Grease remained on range hood. Refrigerator decent. They used those white cleaner spongies on everything which left a film on some surfaces like the granite. Sink could have used a better cleaning. Windows were done in and out for extra money and that was done well. Blinds were done and looked good. The owner came back the next day and removed garbage that the city would not take because of it's awkward size. That was greatly appreciated. He finished up the garage, sweeping and collecting garbage. Generally the place was much improved when the work was done. There is clean and there is and quot;Swissand quot; clean, (like Mother taught me) and perhaps I expected too much. I think the ladies could have done better in any case. In to the afternoon they seemed anxious to leave and did not appreciate me pointing out some areas that needed redoing like the shower door in one of the bathrooms and wiping a big mark off the wall in same room.

The cleaning crew was totally professional. They cleaned everything. They made the house and fixtures sparkle. When they finished I felt like i could live in the house without the dirt or grim of others. They even cleaned the insidewindows. I was really impressed with the results. I would definately use them again. Thank You.

They're super flexible and do not require a contract. Lucy Mancha does a great job. They're above my expectations.

I don't generally write reviews, but I must say i have had a very good experience with Lucy's team. they are honest, friendly, are always punctual and very thorough. they come in and start at the back of the house and work their way to the front. they are always happy to assist in turning my mattress and any other little chore I ask for.

Workers were late, but made up for tardiness with cleaning skills. They were on their knees with a tooth brush cleaning the tile grout on the kitchen floor. Workers were very polite.

I have been using this cleaning service for several months and have had to repeatedly speak with them about the level of cleaning I desired. Admittedly the house is work - we live on a large wooded lot with two dogs and a cats, but only two adults, no kids. I have consistently found that unless the owner herself was present the house was not properly cleaned. Examples of this are failing to move the furniture to vacuum behind, not cleaning window sills, not lifting the edges of rugs to get all the dirt. I have also had a consistent problem with her team putting things where they don't belong and then I am unable to find things. Again, this is something I have spoken with them about repeatedly and yet they insist on putting things in drawers and cupboards where they don't belong instead of just picking them up cleaning underneath and replacing the item. I have even talked with the owner about whether she needed to charge me more to get the level of cleaning that I expect, to no avail.

We were moving from another state. I needed someone to clean the empty house we were moving to, prior to our move-in date. I specifically stated several times that special attention was needed in the kitchen and bathrooms - i.e., drawers wiped out, cabinets cleaned etc. Upon arrival, with the movers, I had to go in and redo the cleaning. The drawers and cabinets were not touched. I did contact Mancha and they did deduct $20.00 from the bill - however, this did not compensate for the time and frustration I had to deal with during a long out-of-state move.

Very nice gentleman owner came out to give estimate. 2 women arrived on-time to clean. Cleaners finished in 1.5 hours and left. House was clean but not clean, you know? Like I wanted to detail it after they left. I have been very satisfied with other cleaners in the past (so cleaning services do meet and exceed my expectations.) They didn't clean a lot of things that they said they would, and the level of detail was not good, although they did clean the basics. I went through the apt. and wrote down the things that were not done (a page and a half of notes) and called the male owner. I suggested that he come back to the apartment to see for himself. He said he would send someone out to resolve the list the following week, or I could get the details done on the next appointment. It's been a month and a half and I have not heard from him to reschedule. My feeling was that if he really cared he would've come out to review the job and made his own notes and talked with the women about improvement. They didn't clean the inside windows of a whole room, for instance. They didn't clean the mirror closet door in that room, either. In fact, I think all they did was vacuum. They didn't wipe down anything. They said they'd clean the inside of the fridge and I caught them before they left to do that, however, when I checked after they left, I discovered they moved items in the fridge around to cover stains instead of cleaning them (THAT is how they and quot;cleanedand quot; it so fast, LOL.) They didn't wipe any of the towel holders, nor the toilet paper holders. They didn't even get the dust off of one of the bathroom counter tops, like it was not wiped down at all. They missed all cobwebs. They didn't lift extension cords on bathroom countertop (another bathroom) to get dust piled up on them. I showed one cleaner the shower that wasn't clean and she explained that it doesn't get cleaned (because of the material.) However, the area she ran over with her rag did clean (and no water spots came back.) and I cleaned another spot and it stayed cleaned. After asking them to clean the fridge and pointing out the shower, I thought that it would be a job teaching them how to clean thoroughly and detail and that wasn't my job. I hired them to make my life a bit easier. They rushed through the job and seemed like they did not care. I paid them $100 divided by 2 people for 1.5 hours is essentially $33/hour each which is equiv. to appx. $66K a year and no taxes. Way too much for the job that they did. I don't mind paying for excellence, however, this was far from it.
