I had called three other companies prior to going online to contact Longhorn Roofing. Two of the other roofing showed gave me an estimate but fail t return to do the job. One of these Roofing Companies wanted to charge me $195.00 traveling fee. I saw Longhorn Roofing on Angies List and decided to give them a try. I followed the instructions by going to their web site. Put in the necessary information and recieved a call fron Lonhorn Roofing the very next day. Their representative showed up om time inspected the areas I wanted repair and return two days later because of rain. The Lornhorn Roofing comapny did the job based on what we agreed on professionally and clean up afterwards. I was very impress with the outcome of the job. They came out of Austin, Texas, I live in Copperas Cove, Texas and they did not charge any travel fee. Lornhorn Roofing listen to me, on the work that I could afford to have done at this time to avoid further damage to my roof. When I can afford to have my roof completely replaced, this company will be the one that I want to do it. Thanks to Angie's List, I am a satisfied customer

they finished the job in 2 days as promised & cleaned up the roof. No more leaks & we got to keep our metal roof & 17K in our pockets, all without scamming insurance as some of the other roofers had tried to get us to do.

They give us a good bid, showed up on time, did the job in one day, and cleaned up the mess without problem.

After 2 companies came to my door saying they could get me a free roof, I did some research and found that neither was credible. One was reputed as "crooked" and the other had very few references. I didn't go with either of those. So I asked dear old dad what he'd do, and he recommended Longhorn. Dad had used them for at least 25 years for his home and business, so I knew I could trust them. Eddie came out the same day I called to do the inspection and give an estimate. When I got the written estimate, I couldn't believe how much lower it was than the first two I had received. It was a good 30% lower for exactly the same job. I called the insurance company, and they couldn't come out for 2 weeks because of the tornadoes in Joplin and Tuscaloosa. But Longhorn Roofing was ready when they did come out. Eddie met with the adjuster and showed her exactly where the damage (wind and hail) was and convinced her that we had a good claim. In the end, we got a new roof and had to pay just the deductible. When it was time to select the color and type of roof, Eddie was very honest with us and explained the benefits and shortcomings of each type. We never felt pressured in any way to choose one over the other. We did ask what he recommended, and we chose the dimensional shingles and added a ridge vent. A couple guys came to deliver the materials the day before the actual job. That took about 2 hours. The next day, the crew arrived bright and early to replace the roof. The 5 guys worked like a well oiled machine and were finished by sundown. When I got home, they'd already cleaned up the yard and were long gone. The roof looks beautiful, and there's not even one piece of trash to be seen. Yesterday, Eddie came over just to make sure everything was okay and that the roof was perfect. The service we got from Longhorn was excellent. We always felt like we were their #1 customer, even after the work was completed. The whole process was seamless.

My experience with them was very good. They showed up when they said they would. They completed the work in one day and cleaned up after themselves. I haven't had any problems.

I called them to get an estimate and they did not get back to me and I had to call them back again. But, one lady called me back. They were very punctual and professional. They re-shingled the entire house and did an outstanding job. They will be roofing the house that we just bought as well. We have an addition on to the house that has a sloped roof, so they had to use a different type of shingle called the roll on shingle, otherwise the price would have been a little cheaper. We had an incident where there was a guy who was backing the trailer into the driveway, so they could throw the shingles into it and they damaged the garage door. But they were very good and they covered the replacement of the door. Their pricing was within my budget. All the office people and the manager were very good and I was pleased with them. I have recommended them to my boss.

The guy wanted me to get it fixed right then, and I was waiting on other bids. I was really surprised at his lack of professionalism. He pulled up and greeted me with a cigarette in his mouth, and he had a bunch of stuff in the back of his truck. I told him that I was waiting for other bids, and when I called they never called me back. He wouldn't give me a bid, he just told me that he could do the work right away.

Randy Richardson came out for an estimate and knew I needed to have the roof replaced before our closing. He made sure it happened and worked to have it done on time. Sure enough it was done. I was very pleased with his customer service and the job they did.

We were happy with them. I liked the fact that they came out and got the work done in a few days. They did a pretty good job of cleaning up.

I needed my roof inspected due to the recent hail storm. Don inspected the roof and reported that there was only minor damage that did not require an entire replacement. Not only that, but he instructed me on how I coold fix it myself.

They were very responsive and fair. They also did what they said they were going to do. They were very very professional and very punctual. I would recommend this company to others.

Longhorn Roofing came when they said they would. They were very responsible and reliable. They did good workmanship and anything I found wrong they were eager to address and fix.

As a result of a hailstorm, I had to replace the roof on the house. One of the problems with Angie's List is that the top roofers listed on the file were already so busy by the time we got our insurance adjustor's estimate, that the top listed roofers on Angie's list were so busy that they couldn't even come out and give an estimate. Two of them said it would be weeks before they could come out. A third one called back after we had the roof completed and asked if we still needed an estimate. At that time, Longhorn Roofing wasn't even listed on Angie's list and I had to go find someone else. I wasn't going to hire a B-rated roofer. So after calling and checking, I had found Longhorn Roofing on my own and had Joe Landry give me an estimate. I was very impressed with Joe Landry who came out and gave me a complete estimate including an additional estimate to do a repair to flashing that the original roofer hadn't installed correctly that had been causing us a problem. After doing some more checking, we agreed to have Longhorn do the job. Joe told us the day they would be there and that's when they showed up. One of my concerns had been that they would leave our roof exposed as we had seen done to other roofs, but Longhorn showed up in the morning with a crew big enough that they tore off the old roof, repaired the flashing problem, replaced trim, and put on the new roof, all in one day. I was amazed that they were that fast, but even more amazed at the perfect job they did. The edges are perfect. They did an excellent job and also did a great job of cleaning up. I highly recommend Joe Landry with Longhorn Roofing.

They were easy to deal with and quoted a fair price, they also cleaned up exceptionally well. Would definitely recommend them.
