Tony responded quickly and worked with my schedule. He brought samples to my house and was able to schedule me within one week. I tried to get a bid from another vendor who had poor follow through, but did provide an email quote based on a conversation. Tony followed up in person, by phone, and by email. The installation team arrived on time and worked hard all day. They cleaned up their mess and were extremely professional and respectful. The job was completed in less time than was quoted. Tony came by to check on the installation as well. The floors look great! I will use Tony for my next flooring project.

I am very picky when it comes to customer service especially when spending a lot of money. I cannot say enough about the level of service and professionalism from Tony and the crew who performed the job. From the first phone call, Tony was helpful and guided us in the process. He never once tried to up sale or sway me towards products that I had already indicated I wasn't interested in or was out of my budget. In fact, he even made sure to show options that could lower my cost. He was always prompt in response to questions or following through with what he said he would do. He was very patient as I changed my mind a couple of times and encouraged me to take my time and take samples home and make sure it was what I would be happy with. Once we set up the install, the crew showed up on time both days and worked diligently to get the job completed on time. Those guys worked hard and we have not even one bumped baseboard or wall. The vinyl in the bathrooms was laid very well and straight. Again, I would absolutely without a doubt recommend Tony and Lone Star Carpet to anyone and will use them in the future for our flooring needs. Thanks so much for making this process smooth, we love our new floors!

I contacted Tony through Angie's. He responded right away and came by to take measurements of our new home. He worked with us on selecting the right material and color for our carpet. His price was good and was very easy to work with. We had a tight schedule, since we had other work being done at the house and the new carpets had to go in right after that work was done, and before the final cleanup of the house. Tony and his crew finished the work right on time. There was a small visible seam after the work was done, which Tony gladly sent his guy to fix. All in all a good experience. I'll work with him again and has already recommended him to a friend.

After a reasonably thorough search for a flooring provider, I chose Lone Star Carpet. Tony was great to work with and was patient when I took several weeks to pick out a product/color for my floors (and while I asked endless questions) . I have senior dogs so the product was very important. The price was very reasonable and the installers were very professional. I would not hesitate to do business with them again.

Lone Star provided good information on options, quoted a price that represented good value, proved to be flexible in scheduling the installation to meet our schedule, and performed excellent work on the installation. I would definitely recommend Lone Star Carpet.

Overall, it was very good. There were a few hiccups along the way. The wrong title was ordered for one of the bathrooms and it took over a week to get the correct tile. There was also a time when his workers told us they would be at our home and they didn't show. We called them and found they had been sent to another job. They had not informed Tony of their obligation to me. From then on, Tony and I organized the times. All through these mishaps, Tony was very responsive and corrected the situation as soon as possible. They did a beautiful job, especially fixing broken tile in a bathtub where we had plumbing done. Tony was great to work with.

We did have some bumps in the process, but I was more than satisfied with the resolution and the quality at the end. I wish they had thrown in the floor cleaner as a bonus or even sold it as an option. Although only a damp mop is needed/advised I would like to clean it once a month or so to keep it nice. I had to go on line to find a local flooring store that carries the cleaning product. Feel this should have been an option thrown in or available for purchase. Overall I would rate the total project a "B". Had the quality not been what it is I would have to give them a "C" because I thought the things that came up were avoidable and frustrating. BUT, I would have no reservations in referring for top of the line sales and service. Also, initially I thought it was a bit pricey, but again when I saw the work that was done, how thoroughy it was done and the daily clean up, it was worth every penny and again, I can't say enough good about the quality.

The Lone Star Estimates were slightly higher than the winning bidder's, but were reasonable.

We had a good experience with them. They were good to deal with. They were straightforward and their pricing was pretty good. They had good follow through. I would recommend them. Their price was competitive with others.

He was very friendly and polite. He had a lot of patience. He sat there with my wife and answered all our questions. He was very pleasant and knew what he was talking about and knowledgeable. He will help us and will try and give us what we want as far as the price. He is honest and fair. He doesn’t try to push us. He will let us decide what we want. If we ask him for his opinion he will give us his honest opinion on it. Every time we met, the time he gave that is the time he showed up.

In short, the work and experience went prfectly -no changes to our experience could have made it any better. After 9 years in our house, we were ready to replace our master bedroom and closet carpet now - and possibly our guest bedrooms/gameroom within the next half year. We wanted to find someone who could do a great job at a fair price. I shopped around a little and found a carpet I really liked at another place close to our house. When I looked up A rated companies, Lonestar was at the top of the list. I stopped by and got excellent service and suggestions from Tony. He was immediately familiar with the carpet we were interested in, but called his supplier, found it, and came by our house the same day for a quote. We agreed to the terms (better price and customer service than an earlier quote). He gave us a projection of the range of when the carpet would be in - early the following week and followed up once he got a definitive date. His installation team was courteous, on-time, efficient, and did an impeccable job in installing our carpet and taking care of our furniture and baseboards. Tony followed up with the job the day of, and swung by he next day to inspect the work. We couldn't have asked for anything more! We were also happy with the down-to-earth attitude and willingness to help and adapt to our needs going forward. We will definitely use Lonestar and Tony again.

The entire process was very smooth. Tony was my primary contact. He showed up on time or early for all appointments, and was efficient, courteous, and professional. The installation crew showed up on time and were professional and organized. The installers even vacuumed before they left! The installation seems to be of high quality. I would definitely recommend Lone Star to anyone in Austin.

Tony, the owner of Lone Star Carpet, has been one of the greatest contractor/estimator to work with. Not only he was professional, courteous, but he?s also very knowledgeable and helpful in helping us choosing our flooring and carpeting materials. Our communications has been great and he never fail to answer any questions we have in a timely manner. He was very punctual and his crew was highly professional and efficient. The finished flooring looked fantastic and they cleaned up all the wood floor surface before they leave. This is overall a highly satisfactory experience. I will do business with him again, and I do recommend him to all of our friends.

I was very satisfied with the services provided by Lone Star Carpet. They were punctual, responded quickly to my questions, their installation people were well dressed, clean and polite.

Tony was extremely responsive and flexible, and came by that evening with samples to work up an estimate.We committed to the job and as soon as the carpet arrived, he and his team were there for the install. In an effort to save on cost, Tony had suggested that his team could piece the carpet for the two master bedroom closets from remainders from the rest of the installation; they did so, seamlessly. The installation was quick and professional, and no evidence of the tear-out or installation was evident when they left. We plan to contact them again later in the year to replace some other laminate flooring with hardwood.

My experience was good. The owner contacted me directly and came over to the house to make sure it was installed properly. Their price was very competitive. He actually drove to my workplace to show me samples because I couldn't get to his showroom.

I had a commercial grade carpet installed in the media room. It was a patterned carpet similar to what you see in movie theaters so the pattern had to be placed exactly correct. The previous installer stretched the carpet, but this type of carpet required to be glued down to the pad. The carpet buckled from the first installation. Tony's guys laid down the correct type of pad and glued the carpet to remove all the buckles. They did the job on short notice. Excellent work and Tony is easy to deal with.

Lone Star Carpet gave me a lot of options. They were very nice to tell me that this grade of carpet is going to cost you this much and will have a lifetime of this whereas this grade of carpet is this much. They were pretty good. I put a request in through Angie's List and they called me within a day. I was not in a hurry so we agreed on a day where they could come and see what I was talking about and take measurements. They came and brought samples. They told me I had great carpet now. The told me my different options on prices and carpet. They were pretty detailed. I think I was looking for more price point instead of quality. They were great. I found other companies in the same price range or lower.

Tony was great. I called and left a message and he called me back within the hour. He also came the same I called and quoted later that evening. Tony's crew was great. They made sure and asked how I wanted the Laminate laid and the work absolutely terrific.I will defintely have Tony back for my next flooring project.

I called Lone Start Carpet based on the reviews I saw on Angie?s List. I also called the two big name boxes. Tony was the first to respond and setup and appointment. We made a date/time and he shows up as scheduled. I talk through a few ideas I had, I was either going to do engineered wood in the game room, office, master bedroom, and carpet on the stairs or all carpet in all rooms/stairs. Tony took measurements and we discussed what I like and went over samples. Tony promptly gave me quotes by the next day. I decide to go carpet all but wanted to view more choices than what I previously was looking at. No problem for Tony we arranged a time and showed up with a ton of samples, quality, weights and colors. By this time my downstairs was painted by another Angie?s list person so it made it easy for me to compare. Tony went over the different quality of carpets and their respective warranties. I chose the color in a higher quality carpet with 38oz weight. This was on a Friday; Tony said they would order it and get back to me on Monday when it will be here to install. On Sunday I get an email from Tony saying we can install on Thursday, I said lets go. I get another email on Monday saying the installers will be there around 10. At 10am today, they show up right on time and get to work. Long story short, by 3:30 two installers were done and ready for me to inspect. It was perfect; the installers cleaned up their mess and vacuumed the entire area. Plus moved all my furniture from and too. In short, I could not have been happier. By 5PM today Tony called me to ask me how everything went. That is the kind of service you get at Lone Star Carpet. BTW, by the time I made the deal with Tony, neither of the big box stores have even come by to measure. But since I had to pay them both 35 dollars (Tony was free), I made them come by anyways to measure. Only one responded with a phone call and quote after measurement (yesterday). I picked a similar product just to see and it was 600 dollars more! I have no problem with big box stores for most things. But if you need any type of service done, go local and go to Angie?s list. Could not have been easier! Tony came out & took measurements, left samples for me to pick from. I received his price quote by email in just a few days. His price was better by far, than the 2 other quotes I received. Once I let Tony know I wanted him to do the work, he was able to get it scheduled for the following week. Work was done in 2 days & looks beautiful!!

Overall it went well. Flooring was replaced. We purchased the Flor tile and he provided the installation. He hauled away old carpet and trash. Job completed as promised for price quoted. Thanks Tony!
