+ -1 moreThe filter was installed in record time. I'm very happy with the the new filter. the sand filter leaked like a sif.
Description of Work: Installed a new pool filter. $85.00 for service call plus $25.00 trip charge plus the filter which was discounted to be a good price $894.00.

+ -1 moreLeslie's pool service used to be great. They were reasonable plus they have a shop with everything a pool owner could need or use. After being told I would be charged about double what they used to charge I called back and questioned this and the person that answered the phone thought it was odd as well because that is not how they used to do business. After talking to his manager he came back and apologized for the new policy and was cool enough to tell me of a small company that was reasonable and efficient. I maintain my own pool and sometimes it's hard to find a company that will work with you without the benefits of getting that monthly fee but Texas Pool Service has been great (my next review). I still use Leslie's for supplies (except my chlorine tablets which I buy at Sam's Club).
Description of Work: I've used Leslie's for years and was very happy with their service but sorry to say they've gone corporate. I was having problems with my pump leaking and it used to be that they would just charge me for parts and labor. Now they want a diagnostic fee and a parts/repair fee.

+ -1 moreWE USUALLY DON'T LIKE TO GO TO BIG CHAIN STORES TO RECEIVE SERVICES, BUT WE REALLY LIKE LESLIE'S. THIS WAS ACTUALLY A 'SPECIAL DEAL' WHERE THE LABOR WAS FREE WITH THE PURCHASE OF THE PUMP. WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID THIS. OLD OUR SAND PUMP WAS FAR TOO MUCH TROUBLE.
Description of Work: LESLIE'S INSTALLED A NEW PUMP/FILTER SYSTEM. WE HAD A SAND-BASED SYSTEM THAT NEVER SEEMED TO KEEP OUR POOL VERY CLEAN. LESLIE'S ALSO TOOK AWAY OUR OLD POOL HEATER THAT NEVER WORKED (FROM WHEN WE FIRST MOVED INTO THIS HOUSE).
