Description of Work: Stole from me, with no intention of ever completing the work. I have heard many reports of him taking deposits and vanishing. Does not pay his subs, shoddy work. Shady guy. Got a letter from the IRS too. Stay far far away.

Robin Jones took off with our money and never returned our calls or did any work for us.
Description of Work: We gave Robin Jones $2000.00 to purchase our counter top material. We were planning on giving him the remaining amount when he was finished installing. He took the $2000.00 and never returned our phone calls. We have still not been able to get in touch with him 6 weeks later.

Company showroom is apparently in San Antonio, but they also work in Austin (it's an Austin number). Price was very reasonable. Salesperson was prompt, knowledgeable, and responsive. Crew not so much. Demo guys nearly walked out with 2 faucets that we intended to reinstall, not replace. When we did reinstall those faucets, several parts were missing, and we had to buy one new faucet anyway. Both demo crew and granite crew were late. Although we specifically left the box containing the new 8" spread faucet for one bath in the bathroom where it would be clearly seen by the granite guys (and also delineated 8" spread for that bath in contract), they cut a hole for 4" spread, then apparently realized their mistake, epoxied it back in, and cut the 8" holes, leaving a funky looking circle and rough spot in the top. They didn't mention it, and as it was in a spare bath, we didn't immediately notice it. When we noticed it the next day and told the salesperson, she immediately checked with the crew, then called us back and apologized. She sent the crew back out the following day to install a new top. In her defense, she had a baby a day or two before our installation--she said she would normally have been with the crew, and that would not have happened. They did immediately offer to make it right at their expense, and it was done without argument. The quality of the finished work appears to be good. The counters look very nice.
Description of Work: Installed granite countertops with undermount sinks in two bathrooms. Demo'd existing cultured marble countertops (I believe demo crew was actually a separate company, but one that works with this company on most, if not all, of their jobs). Much of the cutting and polishing (edges) was done on site.
