Description of Work: According to rep I spoke with they only do FHA loans. If she had read the email inquiry accurately she could have conveyed that quickly, instead of a phone discussion where it was clear she had "misread" my email. Her carelessness was a surprise, based on an earlier conversation with Max Leahman office in 2014, and Angie's list ratings.

Description of Work: This is a top drawer firm. Everyone is professional, courteous, prompt, responsive, all the things and more expected. I wouldn't go with anyone else, nor recommend anyone else in the areas of lending, esp refi.

Description of Work: They were great! Unlike the big companies that advertise on TV, Max Leaman's team actually wanted to help me navigate the mortgage process. I was never handed-off to other people to help me close my loan. The other guys had me wade through a series of "specialists" to handle different parts of the process, none of whom seemed to care. My loan officer from Max Leaman wanted to help and was always available to answer questions and help. I will DEFINITELY call Max Leaman the next time I'm looking for a mortgage or refi.

Description of Work: We worked with Max and his team on our recent home purchase. Max was very responsive and made the process incredibly easy! Any questions we had were quickly answered and issues resolved, typically right away. I would not hesitate to recommend (or use) Max and his team for future purchases/re-fi's.

Description of Work: After finding them recommended on Angie's List, I started working with the Max Leaman team on a single home refinance in late December 2012 and my loan "funded" the first week of February 2013. They were actually ready to sign and fund the last week of January, but I was traveling that week. The entire process was handled professionaly and promptly via phone and secure emails. A notary was sent to my home at a time of my choosing to sign final documents. That was definitely the smoothest house finance/refinance experience I've ever had and recommend them to others without reservation. Thank you Max Leaman, Jori Stern, and Brittanie Graswich. Do: Promptly respond to their requests for documents so that you can fund as quickly as possible. Don't: Stress about it. There's a lot of paperwork, but they'll work with you at your pace to get it all done.

Description of Work: I contacted this company when getting frustrated with a bank (Suntrust) because of difficulty with a mortgage pre-approval. As it turns out, my problem is basically with the Dodd-Frank legislation for lenders. My husband works most of his jobs as a "1099" employee, and even though we have very good credit, the new banking rules have much tougher requirements if you are not a W2 employee. This mortgage company responded very quickly to my e-mail and followed up with a phone call. But I have since been "pre-approved" by the bank I mentioned. However, when we find our new house and have any difficulty at all with financing, I will certainly contact Max Leaman/Prime Lending again. Thanks so much! Anita Keim Rockmart, GA
