Description of Work: We hired Laura (www.laurarobertsdesign.com) on a recommendation from Joe Zambarano (http://www.josephzambarano.com). He was booked over a year out (he is in very high demand) and not available for our remodel. He had worked closely with Laura on a previous project and recommended her as someone who was just finishing an existing client's home and could possible squeeze us in to provide guidance on our kitchen remodel. We had met with numerous designers in the past whom had left us with impressions of 'my way or the highway' approach or lack of vision and creativity. So when we met Laura, we knew she was a gem. She spent almost 2 hours with us on our first visit, offering guidance and ideas to our design dilemmas. We found her approachable and easy-to-communicate with. We hired her on the spot. Her attention to detail, creativity, follow-through and professionalism made it easy for us to eventually trust her completely with the design of our kitchen, bathrooms, office, hardwood floors and wall paint for each room of our entire home. She surpassed our expectations. The office design is incredibly creative and functional. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets and material selections are complimentary and just beautiful. We receive compliments from first-time visitors each time. In addition, she put together a classy and tasteful ensemble of dining and living room furniture and lighting fixtures that she knew we would love. We enjoy our new home very much. Laura's taste is exquisite and yet she is down-to-earth, warm and very approachable. We would hire her again and recommend her without hesitation.
