Description of Work: Kimball is an amazing designer and partner in any home remodel. We used her for a full redo of our 4 bdrm/3 bath NW Hills home. She thought of every detail, partnered with the builder to ensure perfect execution, designed to our tastes and needs and delivered a home that is beautiful and comfortable for us.

+ -1 moreThe bathroom came out awesome. The functionality is great. Everything has a place so stuff stays where it is supposed to and my bathroom is a clean, calming space. I get compliments all the time. It took longer than it should have to complete, but that was not Kimball's fault, it was the contractor's. Kimball is great to work with. She is very responsive. I have also worked with her to do furniture and artwork selection in my home and am currently working with her to redesign my kitchen.
Description of Work: Kimball designed my master bath remodel. Redid layout to remove tub, relocate and enlarge shower and add washer and dryer. Picked out wall, shower, floor, and mirror frame tile. Selected vanity marble, sinks, lighting, and shower and sink hardware. Selected wall and ceiling paint. Did tile designs for floor and shower walls. Designed floating vanity cabinet. Basically everything.

When any problems arose, Kimball and her husband Tom, worked diligently to resolve them to my satisfaction. I have great respect for Kimball and Tom. I highly recommend their services.
Description of Work: I hired Kimball in 2009 after purchasing a new townhouse. During our first meeting, we discussed options for covering 19 windows and sliding glass doors in my home. Kimball listened to my wishes and ideas then presented options for me to consider. She never pushed me to choose a particular window covering, but she directed me towards choices that were both functional and good looking. Next, I worked with Kimball to replace carpet that was installed by the builder. Again, Kimball listened to my interests then presented me with smart choices that met my needs. Afterwards, I worked with Kimball to reupholster cushions on dining chairs that I moved from my previous home. Later, we ordered area rugs for my dining area and halls. Finally, I worked with Kimball to select new furniture for my bedroom and main living area. Again, Kimball listened to my ideas then recommended choices that looked good and worked well in my home. Kimball arranged for me to visit design showrooms in Dallas to view furniture. With Kimball's help, I narrowed my choices. Kimball priced different pieces and told me where I could get the best prices on the pieces I selected. Finally, Kimball worked with me to select fabrics and wood finishes. Kimball also worked with me to select replacement ceiling fans, to hang existing pieces of art, and to order mirrors for my bedroom and powder room.
