JUST RIGHT LAWNS

I cannot express my dissatisfaction with this company more strongly. This past week I was alerted to their crew blowing ALL of the leaves in my xeriscaped front yard into my neighbors front yard. My neighbor who had recently paid his landscaper to rake/bag all of the leaves in their yard the previous weekend. I realized what JUST RIGHT LAWNS crew was doing just as this was finishing and called their office so they could immediately address. Since then it has been about excuses, run-around and ultimately no remedy. I also realized it was also caught all on my ring video afterwards and sent the office the link to explain my concern with the expectation they would simply bag up the leaves they blew into my neighbors front yard (it was a lot and the video of the activity is quite dramatic and clear). Initially I thought, they would be reasonable and take care of it but after numerous delays and far too many inquiries and excuses -- they are not doing anything. After having this company for 10 years doing work on a relatively small property, the least they could do is fix their own mistake. I have discontinued service as of today, requested a refund for the last service and asked yet again for them to reconsider this opportunity to do the "RIGHT" thing and correct. As an Architect who works with homeowners, I cannot recommend this company or the lack of customer care and hope this information proves helpful to others when making a choice.

They come every other week. We have a contract or an agreement. They charge it on my charge account.

Just Right Lawns do a good job. They always show up and are very quick. If they happen to blow some clippings into the pool, they get a leaf net and scoop them out. One week I asked one of the men if he would use his trimmer to wack out some things from a bed. He was happy to do it! I have no complaints.

We have been thinking about getting a different company. It is not as if they are unprofessional, it's just that we have been having a problem with them not letting us know when they will be coming during the rainy days. We have two dogs and they need to go outside, and when they open up the gates, they could get lose. Their communication system during the rainy days between somebody going to make it out maybe the next day or can't come today is very poorly set up. I would get an email saying they are not coming and I took them in the back yard, and the next thing I know they are in my front yard. I would rush to get my dogs back in the house. One of the times, they mowed my lawn and left the gates open and one of my dogs went out and my husband is really mad with them about that. I just did a survey for them, so hopefully that will help out in the future.

I sent emails during a 7-day span to this provider requesting availability and a quote for services, never received a single response in return. Why advertise on Angies List if you're going to simply ignore potential customers?

Unreliable and LOUSY Customer Service. I am so greatly disappointed in this company (and now upset) that it's difficult to know where to start. I've used Just Right Lawns as a service for nearly 2 years for two of my properties which are just regular 3 bedroom homes in residential communities. JRL comes out twice a month most of the year, with a reduced winter schedule, of course. Well, I PAY them to come out twice a month, but invariably I receive "delay" e-mails for various reasons. The latest was that someone was sick, but they ensured us subscribers that they were getting other crews out and working around the clock, and so on and so forth...which was a crock of bull. My lawn is over 2 feet tall in some places. It's the eye-sore of the neighborhood! My guests at one property wrote to complain to me about how awful the lawn is! I PAY a service so that I can have my lawn looking good all year round and not have to worry about it. The reviews from my guests is essential to my success and livelihood. JRL is costing me reviews, which could lose guests, which causes me to lose money. Now, the lousy customer service. So, I write to complain and they said I'm scheduled again for this coming Thursday and she says that that's going to be skipped too, for some reason! And that they will get to it this weekend. Already furious I expressed to them how I shouldn't have to pay for missed services. She tells me that as compensation I can have 30% off my service. CAN YOU IMAGINE!? An already upset customer and they have the nerve to suggest such a ridiculous discount? That's not how you handle customers or diffuse someone who is angry; this gets them more angry. I wrote something back and got a CANNED message that totally didn't have anything to do which the discussion. That really infuriated me. So I wrote again. Finally I got Cindy and she (with common sense) said the next service would be free and that it would be done this weekend. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday pass... still not done! ( Follow up: Today is Monday and a friend went by the house and checked and see that they just did it today. But I think the damage is done... too many weeks of no mowing, unsightly lawn, guest complaints, and worst of all... JRL showed me they have lousy customer service.) My lawn is the WORST lawn on the block... thanks to Just Right Lawns. (Yes, I am already using Google to try to find other lawn services!)

2-Man crew hit the job running and never stopped. They did an outstanding job. My wife said she has never seen it done better.

Went pretty well...Until I had a wooden deck installed in my back yard. I immediately noticed that they were chipping away along the base of my back deck. I notified the office and provided pictures of the damage. They reassured me that they would instruct their teams to do better. Unfortunately, after today's service I went back out and saw even more damage. So right before I logged onto Angie's list to provide this feedback, I emailed their office and requested that my service contract be terminated.

Monica was very professional and courteous when she answered the phone. She explained my options concisely and clearly. I needed a one time mow and clean up of my yard. They were able to get me in the next day and did a great job. They also handled my special requests flawlessly. I will definitely use them again.

Extraordinarily easy to set up and they arrive on time and do a good job. They often say the best indication of a job well done is you don't have to think about it, and since I've set this up I haven't once had to actually think about it. The lawn is mowed, my credit card is charged, and I have to do absolutely nothing!

Everything looked fabulous when they were done. They did a great job. They are extremely fast and I use them every two weeks. Two guys come out to do the work.

They are really good and fast. They come every 2 weeks and can do it on debit card or credit card.

They showed up on Monday as scheduled and mowed and trimmed the lawn beautifully in less than an hour. I have them scheduled every other Monday. Thank you for great service.

I have subscribed to Just Right Lawns for a full year and I am totally satisfied with the service rendered. They are prompt. They show up on their scheduled day. On the rare occasion of adverse weather, they are quick to contact me by email and project the rescheduled date (normally, the following day). They are responsive to my needs. When I had to temporarily suspend service due to yard work (composting), only a simple phone call was needed. Different crews have worked on my yard. The company has been excellent in insuring the responding crew knows my desires/needs. The work crew members have always been respectful and totally professional. When we the accidental misfortune of a broken window, the company immediately stepped up assuming responsibility and insuring prompt repair. Their prices are very reasonable, the payment method is simple and secure, the workmanship is good. What more could a person want?

Signing up for their services was very quick and easy! They came out the same day and did a great job! I highly recommend them to our Leander and Cedar Park friends!

When I called for an estimate, it's based on neighborhood, regardless of how small your yard is. The price is comparable to others. I had some very specific requests, but no one will come out to go over them since they are based in Austin and there is no supervisor in SA. They assured me over the phone that they would take care of them. The first thing they did, was leave the gate open and my dog got out despite signs on both sides of the gate and telling the office. I have a flagstone patio with steps down into the back yard. The lawn mower needs to be lifted down or backed down the steps. The first time they followed the instructions, but after that they took the mower front down the steps and back up which chipped up the steps from the blade. Do they not have special notes on the yards that they pass on? I called the office and I also tried to talk to the crew, but they speak little to no English. As far as I remember, they came out on the scheduled days and were very fast and did a decent job. I wasn't able to send photos and of course no one would come out to see the damage when I canceled services.

They destroyed several of my kids toys with the lawn mower. I bought a expensive wooden playhouse for my daughter they damaged it with the weed eater. No respect for a persons property. They don't take pride in their work.

I have used this company for the past 18 months and continue to be disappointed with them. I have tried to give them many opportunities to make it right, but it's not possible. I have cancelled service with them. The work crew is frequently 1-2 days late after my scheduled service day. They showed up a day late at 1pm on July 4th, right before I was having a party. The office staff do not notify customers by phone, text or email that service will be late. You just notice the grass has not been cut when you get home and the crew shows up a day or two later. When a call is made to the office to ask when service will be done there is always an excuse as to why they crews are behind schedule... recent rain, truck problems, lack of enough crews, etc. The crew does work hard, but many do not speak english, so the office requests that the customer call them the day before service for any requests. The crew that runs the weed whacker has chewed up my fence numerous times. The clipping are always blown into the pool. The company will not bag the clippings. For the price you can do better and get personalized service elsewhere. This company has become a victim of their success. I believe it would be better to give a local small company my business.

I cancelled the services today because every time they came out, they didn't cut my grass right. They seemed to be in a hurry, would leave lines, they trimmed with very wide edges. The first time they came out, they charged me and they didn't cut my lawn. I called them and the office staff was very nice and they sent the workers out a second time. They did most of it correctly, but still didn't get all of the areas that they had missed. The same thing happened every time they came out with paths of about an inch wide missing. When they came out yesterday, the quality was the same as before with missed spots, so I called to cancel. I was just very disappointed with the results.

They?re OK. They don?t watch where they mow. They?ll break your sprinkler heads off. Other than that they do an OK job. They also don?t tell you when they break them, you just have to find them. Update Just Right called and wanted to fix the sprinklers after they had seen the review, they were fixed within a week.

They are okay. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would probably rate them about an 8. We have a recurrent contract with them that they come out every two weeks and we pay them on a monthly basis. They show up when they say that they would. They finish quickly which is a good thing. The only downside to them is that they do not really clean up after themselves as compared to other companies. We can cancel our contract with them at any time with no fee but we choose to continue using their services.

Service was ordered, scheduled, confirmed. No one showed up or called on the scheduled date of service. I received a follow up call and an expedited crew was sent out. Excellent professionalism, and quality service.

Great job - very reasonable price and very easy to setup. Best lawn service we've used.

JUST RIGHT LAWNS are always here, they're fast and they do a good job. They're on time and reliable. They come on Wednesday, but you don't know what time they're going to come, but that works for us.

What I like about them is that it cost $33. I'm probably going to discontinue my service with them.
