Matt Runyon came out within a day of my initial call to look at what the project entailed. I had existing materials that I wanted used and a couple of other small requests. Matt provided a written estimate by email the next day. Once a date was set, his crew arrived as promised and completed the job in 4 hours. This included using my existing materials and a couple of prep items I could not finish before hand. The site was left clean and the work was excellent. When the final invoice was sent, the price was less than the estimate. Highly recommend you contact Matt.

They came out on a Saturday and did fast, good work! He was able to work around our schedule, and and the windows look great.

Wonderfully in all cases. The work was done efficiently, the subcontractors checked with us as they progressed, Jon was generally available when needed, the place was cleaned up each day, and when they were done, no one would ever know they were there. We used competitive pricing, and Jon was at or just a little above competitors when comparing exact product lines and end results. Bid specs are critical. Long warranties, and this business has existed for over 20 years. We have other projects to do over the next five years, and will continue to use this business, though we will continue to go for bid as well, using Angie's vendors who have been noted for excellence. We've never gone wrong with one of these folks.

Seriously amazing service from the minute I called to the minute the work was complete. These guys are amazing. Matt advised me on what needed to be done and then coordinated everything in an extremely professional way. He and his team of workers showed up on time every time, they did everything they said they would do, they worked with me and my dogs and my crazy schedule, and they cleaned up afterwards. But most importantly, their work was amazing and absolutely beautiful. Tito and Wilson are very talented carpenters and very personable people. I can't thank Matt, Tito, and Wilson enough for ridding this burden of rotten siding and replacing it with beautiful Hardie siding. Thanks Guys! I highly recommend JP construction and I will definitely use them again in the future.

Jon came out for a bid on a $40k remodel job. He was very professional and told me up front that the job was not a good fit for his company at that time, but passed me on to a great referral, which is sometimes the very best way to go in business.

Jon Polson, the owner of JP Construction, came by promptly as soon as I called to inquire about Hardie Siding. He was friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He got me an estimate quickly, and they started our job three weeks ahead of schedule. The Hardie crew was on the job early everyday and they picked up all their tools and debris at the end of every day. The Hardie work took a little over a week including painting and this is for a two story house not quite half brick. I was impressed by the way that the crew managed the job - they didn't strip everything off at once - we could still sit outside on our porch every evening and on the weekend and enjoy our yard. The crew was friendly and approachable. They were careful of my landscaping. The deck crew started after that and it took about three weeks This crew was pleasant as well, and they removed their tools and debris every day too. They had to add materials to stabilize the decking for the Trex. They did incredibly detailed work on the deck trim, that had to be done in wood, not Trex. The screened in porch is also very pleasantly simple and detailed as well in its construction. I simply described the look I wanted for the porch and that was enough! It is all so gorgeous. The screened porch is a dream come true! I am so happy that we had this work done by JP Construction.

Matt Runyon, the company rep, arrived promptly and noted the problem area and made recommendations as to the replacement to the damaged area. Matt was very courteous and professional. He provided an estimate for the work to be done, which was better than the other two estimates that I received. The company had a cancellation so Matt was able to work me right into his schedule. The work was completed in two days and I was very satisfied with the excellent results. Upon viewing the finished work, I noticed a couple areas that needed caulking and painting and Matt dispatched some workers that same day to fix that problem. Overall I am completely satisfied with the results, the workmanship, and the professionalism. I enjoyed the experience working with JP Construction and Matt Runyan

Matt did a great job for us. He came out and gave my daughter an estimate and fully explained what needed to be done. He then gave a quote and , even though it was a small job, said that it would be no problem . I have found very few contractors will do small jobs nowadays and it was nice to know that there are some people who are still willing to help out the little people who do not have mansions. The job was very well done and they were able to come while my daughter was at work and everything was left just as it was when they arrived. No mess and the new boards were put up. They also gave my daughter the time she asked for to paint the new boards before they put the gutters in place. This saved her money and they understood that. I would definitely use JP CONSTRUCTION again and highly recommend them to all neighbors and friends.

I was very pleased with the work that Jon Polson and his crew did to replace the rotten siding on my chimney. The work only took one day. The crew came on time and they worked all day. They had to leave to get the correct color paint for the new siding but otherwise they worked steadily. They cleaned up the site before they left, including hauling off the old siding. I would recommend JP Construction to anyone.

Jon came to give me a bid and came up with a suggestion that no other contractor suggested. I wanted my facia boards on the garage, which are pressure treated lumber, to be covered with hardi-plank material or painted, but I didn't want to disturb the existing drip strip or metal roofing that was already in place. Also, a primer that I had applied before did not stick and peeled off because of the pressure treating. Jon suggested covering the facia with PVC coated flashing that would cover the front and wrap underneath to cover the edge of a newly applied Hardi-soffit material. It made a very clean installation, covered the facia completely, and was easily primed and painted. His crew was very professional, cleaned up at the end of every day, and kept in constant contact with me if they had questions about how I wanted something handled. His bid was not the lowest I received, but I'm very happy I chose him to do the work. It turned out beautifully. I would recommend JP Construction to anyone without hesitation.

Jon was great to work with. We were changing the back of our house quite a bit. He was very patient as we searched for and chose the doors and windows for our project. Once the work was started Jon was very hands on and responsive to our sometimes detailed requests. He went above expectations when needed. The end result was better than we had hoped. We will call him the next time we need a contractor. We were very pleased.

I contacted Jon Poison to inspect and provide a bid for some siding and trim replacement on a home I am purchasing in Buda. He was punctual in showing up, came out without a charge, and spent a good hour with me reviewing my needs and answering any questions I had. I highly recommend Jon and JP Construction for their honesty, integrity and professionalism. Based on some suggestions he gave me, I am looking into hiring a handyman to so some fascia and siding replacement, which will help me stretch my budget. Jon provided me a very reasonable estimate, and did something that most wouldn't have... helped me find someone he trusts that could work on a cheaper hourly rate. As my job is fairly small, I am thankful for his suggestion and willingness to help me.

It was awesome! Got 5 bids - they were reasonably priced compared to all of them. Their scope of work was the best out of the other companies. They asked for the business (which is great). John came out and met with us and gave us a written bid on the job within a short time frame. He worked with us in modifying the bid to cover some additional items. After accepting the bid, he worked with us in ordering the doors we wanted from Home Depot for the best price. He did not start the job until almost everything was delivered and ready to go. During construction, his crews were always on time, courteous and always worked very hard to keep a very clean job site. Jose, Alex and everyone else on the crew were great. John followed up on all the activity and any questions I had they answered or took care of right away. Great job. They did everything we needed and more. Would use JP Construction again. A++

The owner was just absolutely wonderful. He was very kind. We recommended him to, I think, 3 or 4 neighbors and they went with him because of his punctual and how good his man were explaining out. They cleaned up.

Met with owner Jon Polson. We talked about what I wanted done. He gave me timely bid. The crew showed at designated time and finished the job earlier than expected. I was very happy with the crew that handled the job and was very pleased with quality of that job. Thanks JP construction !

Overall, we were very pleased with the work that Jon and his crew did. They painted the house fast but did a very nice job, including with clean-up. They were the lowest bid but we felt like we weren't getting any lower quality work. the only negative was that his crew painted some of the windows shut, but when I brought this to Jon's attention he addressed it promptly. Jon's crew also re-screened our back porch, poured a new concrete front porch, and did some other small jobs on the exterior, such as fixing some of the hardi siding that was broken. All work was done well. His crews were nice guys and easy to deal with. We felt comfortable having them in and around our home. I would definitely use him again.

It went okay. The price was pretty good. They did a great job painting but we went to several colors. The part that they would have been good is they come out and put the colors that they planned and think for the whole house. They came back the next day and get me to approve it rather than paint the whole house. We worked it out and did not end up costing too much more. They did a good job.

I was told when the work was going to be done. The workers showed up on time and completed the job as I was told. the workers were very friendly and they let me know what was going on during the process.

We are very happy with everything that was done. I would definitely use JP Construction again and would recommend them to anyone for any of the related work items I had done. As you can see from the work done, I had a variety of projects which I needed completed. Additionally I was initially unsure whether to go with Hardie or wood siding as there is a big cost and performance difference between the two. I went with JP Construction because I felt it was a very competitive bid and also had the most confidence that they would be able to complete all the different parts of the project in the timeframe that was most suitable for me after the initial estimate and discussion with Jon. I went with the Hardie siding because for me the warranty and safety benefits outweighed the difference in the cost. I would also add that there are different options for the Hardie in terms of how it gets its color, (factory colored, painted, etc). Not every company will offer more than one option here and that can directly impact the cost and how long it may take before they can start work. I went with the option to get the non-colored version and have it painted which lowered the cost and also meant they were able to start work on my job maybe a week after the bid versus weeks later. I had a few other companies tell me they would have to order the siding and it would be 3-4 weeks before work could start as a result. I also liked being able to choose the exact colors I wanted for the siding and trim. Jon was very professional and punctual and had good communication skills and the same could be said for the work crews. The quality of work was excellent and done exactly as expected. There were no surprises or problems other than mother nature deciding to rain a couple days in the middle of the job ? but the work crews even came on the weekend to make up for the time. I think the work for the roof may have been more than expected, but they fixed this without any additional cost. Also while I was getting this work done I had new AC and furnace units installed (by a separate company) which required cutting a whole in the ceiling (drywall) inside my house. I asked Jon if they could fix that as well since the AC company could not, and they were able to fix that too. They did an excellent job on it and again a very fair price. They also saved me a huge hassle of trying to find a specific contractor for this unexpected issue. It is now 3 months after the work has been completed and I am very happy I used JP Construction for this, and would use them again should any need arise.

I am very pleased with work overall. I am planning to call again for another project in the immediate future.

Went with a different contractor due to other projects that impacted the projects that he bid.
