It went great overall, (except from the noise of course). The crews were promt and professional. It was obvious from their efficientcy, that they had worked together for years. They cleaned up the work area completely each day before leaving, hauling off all old materials, and any other trash that was accumulated. My wife and I are amazed at what they accomplished in 5 days.
   Each seperate crew insisted on a "walk through" upon completion of their work, and  were enthusiastic about taking care of any of our "nitpicks" 
   Jon came by this afternoon, as part of the final walk through, and assured us that if we found any issues with the work, they would be handled appropriately.

I called Jon and met him at the house and we went over it one project at a time and he had a very professional, knowledgeable demeanor.  He got a bid back to me very quickly, and that bid had each of the projects parceled out into options for the final bid.  This was very helpful in our making a final decision because it allowed us to tailor the project to our budget.  When the final comparison of various bids came together I wanted to go with JP Construction, but they were a little out of our planned budget.  Jon personally handled the jostling of financial figures with me and came to a very good price that included the window and shed removal as well as the siding and paint.

After that it was only the shortest amount of time before he and his skilled workers were ready to go!  And man did they go!  They started on January 3rd (a Tuesday) and were done by that entirely done by that Thursday.  I was amazed!  The first day I came home from work and the siding was already up, the shed gone, and the yard clean of debris from the construction, everything ready for the next day!  The next day came and suddenly the window was installed and the majority of the paint was up.  Finally there was the trim and final bits they needed to do.  Manuel, one of Jon's trusty workers even put up our new address numbers for us!

Payment was a snap, and everything could be handled over the phone or in person.

Over all, it was such an enjoyable experience I would readily recommend JP Construction to anyone looking to have siding and painting done.

JP was very responsive to all communication via phone and email. The bid I was given was very professional compared to three other companies I had come out and give bids on. Only one other local contractor gave me a lower price but the bid was not clear, therefore I decided to go with JP. Also, his prices are way cheaper than what I received from the large retail companies. He actually has done another home owners windows in the same complex.  I have received many compliments and I am very happy with the whole process. The guys that came out to install the windows were very nice and did a really good job with the installation. They did not make a mess and ensured all mess was cleaned up when they left. No complaints, I will certainly contact him when I need more work done in the future.

Had an excellent experience.  They were on time, did the work quickly and at a high quality.  I had one small issue that was attended to at once after I brought it to their attention.  They replaced the siding, painted and the match is excellent. I am very satisfied with them, the work and the experience.  I do recommend them.

Coordination of material delivery, installation, and project management were all outstanding.  The crew was flexible on site to small change requests with no problems whatsoever, their flexibility was much appreciated.

The job went very well.  John cheerfully provided me with all of the pricing options and details I wanted.  Everything was itemized so I could decide what fit my budget best.  His prices were excellent and he really made everything easy. I don't have a lot of time to spend (or interest in) picking out patio doors, paint colors, siding types, etc.  John was able to provide me all the assistance I needed, picking out the patio door for me and helping me select the paint color.  The replacement siding matches the old siding so well, I can't tell which are the new pieces, now that it is painted.  The work was done as described, completed on time, and cost not a penny more than the original estimate.  There was a small bit of damage done by one of the crews and John happily had it fixed immediately without question or fuss.  I have used contractors in the past, who were ok, but JP Construction was really very good.  I will use JP again and have already recommended John to a couple of people I know without hesitation.

It went very well.  I got another quote from a company that only did windows, who told me that they couldn't add trim to the windows (but that I WOULD need it when they were done), couldn't paint that trim, and that the blinds in my windows likely wouldn't fit after the new windows were installed.  So Jon's quote was very close to this company's, and while his didn't include the painting, it DID include the window trim, and knowing that he was a general contractor, I knew he would have people who could do the painting.  Jon is a very nice guy, very professional and always quick to respond.  No regrets at all!  I highly recommend him.  In fact, when the windows were done, I had Jon's company finish off an attic closet in our master bedroom and it also turned out splendidly.  I won't hesitate to use Jon again in the future.

It was a pretty average experience.  Nothing stood out extremely positive or negative.  They did the job and seemed fairly priced.  Everything turned out well. 

I dealt with the owner, Jon Polson. He was very prompt with his estimate. He responded to every email in a matter of hours. He gave me an estimate for only the work I wanted. He did not try to sell me anything extra. He did not make me feel like my request for a portion of siding to be replaced was too small of a job for his company. The construction crew was quiet, polite, and professional. They cleaned up the area as the work progressed through the day. At the end of the first day my home looked complete except for the paint. The entire job was completed by 1:00PM on the second day. I am very happy with JP Construction. I would recommend them to anyone needing home repairs. Jon Polson was very honorable in his work with me.

They were really good and it turned out awesome. Everything about them was good. They were very professional and very friendly. They showed up on time. They did what they said they were going to do. They cleaned up really well. They went really smoothly with everything. This is the first time I have used their services. There were no problems with them at all. Everything was perfect. We will use them again if we have the need. I would use their services again in the future.

They were very, very good. I have had bad experiences with others in the past. Sheila, the lady I interacted with from the company,was incredibly on top of things. She called me all the time. She made sure things were done right. She had them come back if something was missing. I thought it was a very good experience.

The job went very smoothly. I had a painting bid that assumed we could just replace the bad siding boards on both gables, but it turns out, after the painters had already started work, that old the siding could not be matched. I just decided to replace the gables with Hardie for longer life. The painters left the job on Wed. before Thanksgiving and I started trying to get siding companies to come over and bid over the holiday weekend. Well, Jon of JP Construction wasn't the first to return my call or come over to look at the job, but his bid was almost the lowest, and he inspires so much confidence. Plus, he is a super nice guy. Also, some other siding companies said they could not get smooth Hardie plank and would have to put up wood grain siding. Jon got smooth siding of the proper width (which almost matches what's left on there from the old siding) and he had a crew out to start on Tuesday after Thanksgiving. They finished on Thursday, the painters finished painting on Friday, and it looks really good. Jon's crew were professional, quiet and competent. I highly recommend his company.

This job was completed in a very professional manner. The work was completed in 5 work days as promised. The crew was polite, quiet (no loud radios), hardworking and thoroughly cleaned up each day before leaving. The workmanship was excellent. Jon Polson is an excellent contractor and I will use him again in the future.

Could not be more happy with them. Installation job was quality, they were on time, completed the job way quicker than I expected, vacuumed the mess up, decent price, and even removed 4 old windows that I had replaced myself from the premises. I would hire them again in a heart beat. GREAT JOB!

It was a great experience. Matt did not try to oversell me, and provided an estimate broken down by window as I'd requested so that I could prioritize which to replace on the budget I had. They were responsive to every email and phone call, showed up on time, and cleaned up after themselves. I did have to stain the front door and garden window frame myself. They might offer this service, but I'm not sure. They will definitely work with you to get you want you need!

I thought their pricing was reasonable. I thought they were fairly established so they knew what they were doing, but they seemed very busy so I wasn?t sure if they?d be able to give me enough attention. In retrospect, I wish I had picked them. I recommend them and I would use them in the future.

The man who cam out was very nice and very polite. He was a nice person to work with. He came out after the wind storm in Austin. He found some kind of concrete board to replace almost everything and did a great job. His price was lower than others. The construction crew was nice too. They cleaned up well. Many people compliment my siding.

My husband and I needed to get some exterior work done on our home, so our first step was to check the Better Business Bureau to narrow down our search. We decided to get estimates from three companies, one of which was JP Construction. We wanted to write this review because it was an absolute pleasure to work with Matt, and we are very happy with the work that JP Construction completed. The initial process of getting the estimate and making the final decision on everything we wanted done was made easier by working with Matt. He responded to our inquiries promptly (usually the same day or the following day) and was readily available via email. This was important to us because we both work and didn?t have the time to keep returning to our house to ?sit and talk? with a representative. He was perfectly happy to leave samples at our door when we weren?t home if we requested it, and he actually came to my office to obtain payment rather than asking me to meet him or go to their offices. JP Construction also worked with our budget as far as competitors? bids and made suggestions that really resulted in the best possible look for the exterior of our home while taking into consideration what we could afford. JP Construction proved to be devoted to excellent customer service and great quality of work, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking to utilize the type of services that they provide.

JP Construction promptly responded to my request for proposal by making an appointment to look at the property and to make a bid on installing fiber cement siding, impact resistant roofing, windows, rain gutters and painting. Questions that I raised about the offer, including quality of products and how services would be performed were promptly addressed and an offer was quickly tendered. The offer was well prepared, but was the highest offer by almost 30%.

John Polson has an excellent crew and I would not hesitate to use them again. I also recommend to all of my neighbors.

We found JP Construction to be a group of quality people. They replaced our windows for us for an excellent price, but not only that, they were very communicative, quick, and neat. We had 19 windows put in, completed in 2 days and with zero extra work on our part. They removed and put back our wooden blinds, cleaned up their workspace completely, and were extremely professional in all behavior. Unlike many contractors, the workmen did not use profanity, worked through the entire day, and were extremely punctual. We would recommend them to anyone and will be glad to do so.
