We are absolutely satisfied and we will use them again. He was timely, professional and the people that he subcontracted were equally professional and recommendable. The price is very good and we got them actually low and we didn’t really expect it. The quality is superb and the sale was very good to. They’re punctual. We will recommend them to friends.

He was here when he said he would be and did the job quickly. Everything we agreed upon he did it. It was just a wonderful service.

Just because he came out and walked around the whole entire house with me especially for the fence, I was planning to have something done but he had some pictures and some ideas. He was able to split out the bid so that it was all separate. He told me right upfront he probably was not going to be the lowest but he was not going to be the highest and that he kind of fell in the middle. I thought he was very professional mostly because of all the reviews that I have read on Angie's List prior.

I needed some siding replaced and painting of my house. Jon gave me an estimate to replace all of the siding and paint the house. The price was excellent, but I decided to go with another contractor and only have portions of the siding replaced due to budget constraints. Jon arrived on time for the estimate and was very professional and easy to communicate with.

The crew arrived every morning @ 8AM, they worked until 6PM. The crew along with the foreman (Nell) were professional and polite. We were extremely pleased with the quality and timeliness of the project. I would use them again

He was very polite and very thorough but we did not go with him. I think the quote was about $4700. We got two or three people off Angie's List that came out, but we just clicked with another person who did the job and it's fantastic. We liked JP Construction very much but they were a little out of the budget that we wanted to pay which was the main thing. They were polite, courteous and prompt. They got right back to me with the bid.

Jon Polson, owner, was a true pleasure to work with from beginning to end and follow-up. His team of workers were prompt, courteous, very pleasant, and performed high quality work. We had numerous questions before signing a contract and Jon thoroughly and pleasantly answered all of them. He made it easy to reach him, typically answering his cell or calling back quickly if we had to leave a mesage. He thoroughly explained all parts of the job with which we were unfamiliar. A few days after their beautiful job was complete we noticed minute particles on our patio slab and were concerned they might be silica dust from cuttings of the new siding. We called Jon about our concern. He suspected it was simply particles from tearing down the old siding because all cutting of the new siding had been done on the side of the house on top of a large tarp and then completely removed from our property. We thought, of course, it must be infinitesimal particles from the old siding. Jon offered to clean the area and did so personally by using wet cloths to hand wipe our entire patio slab requiring him to be on his knees to perform this work. We hold a very high opinion of Jon and his team, will gladly do business with him again, and are glad to highly recommend him to others.

Jon Polson responded quickly to our online request for an estimate. He came to the house, determined the source of our water leak (bad siding), answered all our questions, and provided us with a written estimate in a timely manner. His price was a bit higher, but we felt so comfortable with his professionalism and the Angie's list reviews, that we decided to go with his company. We were correct in our decision. His workers were on time, kept the work area neat, and did a very good job for us. We were so pleased with them, that after a wind storm with 63 mph gusts blew off a section of our shingles, we called him right away and he had someone out here within a couple of days to make the repairs.

Overall it went very well. They have a good, prompt, and very nice crew. One minor issue was one of the crew members was extremely chatty and asked a lot of personal questions. Very nice guy but would prefer not to get into personal discussions. I had to keep excusing myself as I work from home and had to get back to work. Otherwise, they were great.

Went as planned and Contractor worked with me on price as I provided the materials.

The bidding process went fine.

I asked their help because of their outstanding credential with regards to the quality service they offer and high rate from Angie's list.The reason why I am not using them again in the future is that their price was too high and there was nothing wrong about them it is just my own personal preference regarding details.

Unfortunately for me I opted to go with a cheaper contractor, which was probably not a good decision in hindsight. Next time I have a project I'll call Jon, as I'm certain he would do an excellent job for an extremely fair price.

They quoted around $12000. They were really responsive. They came out pretty quickly. They showed up on time. They gave me a good quote and it was very competitive. They did a good job explaining what I need to have done on the house. They were fair, thorough and straightforward. They were good.

I like that he always communicated very quickly via email with me. He would call by phone whenever his guys were coming over, to let us know exactly when they would be there. The quality of work was good. I had one little problem with the way the gate looked and he came and looked at and sent his guys out and they re-did it. He did it very quickly and said if you do not like it, we will fix it.

Very well. The only slight issue was a bathroom window that was ordered with clear glass instead of opaque. The new glass was ordered and replaced very promptly.

I was very happy with the service done. Jon went over the estimate in great detail, explaining everything that was being done and asked questions about different options we could do to improve the look. I had 5 bids for the job, and the JP construction bid was inline with other estimates. I chose JP based mostly on other reviews, and I wanted to make sure the job was done right. The crew was very courteous, did high quality work, and cleaned up everything when done. The job did take a couple of extra days from the original estimate, but there was no rush to get it done and I was glad to see them take the time on the front to get it right (there are a lot of difficult angels on the front on the 2nd floor). I would highly recommend Jon and his crew if you are looking to get quality work done.

The description that follows is lengthy but intended to convey the detailed, timely work done by Jon's subcontractors. . We contacted Jon in September to talk about a number of home repair projects that would potientially involve JP Construction. Jon patiently walked through each job with us, making helpful suggestions regarding options for the screened porch, as well as the types of windows that would look best in their particular areas. The sun room windows, in particular, were set into the brick exterior and would require special attention. . Things then moved quickly once we decided to go with JP Construction at the end of September. The window dimensions were measured by the subcontractor that weekend; the following Monday, the 1st of October, the deck/porch subcontractor began work, dismantling the decaying deck and hauling that wood away, then proceeding with construction of the new cedar screen porch. That work was completed the following Monday, with no flaws and looking great. The subcontractor even helpfully responded to my desire for a way to get under the floorboards in case work on some sprinkler piping there was ever called for - a very inconspicuous trap door was installed. He also wrapped the piping in question with insulation prior to installing the floorboard. . Next , this subcontractor removed the two old gates to the backyard and custom built two new cedar gates, with new latches into the brick wall. Again, no flaws, the gates look great and work perfectly. . The old siding was removed and carted away, then the exposed area wrapped in Tyvek (the speedy timing of the wrap was appreciated since rain was in the area !) New Hardie board siding was installed except for the trim, since two large semicircular windows needed to be received and installed first. In the meantime, the new windows downstairs (three large sunroom windows and a kitchen window overlooking the backyard) and a small, sectioned set of upstairs bathroom windows were put in - although several of these were set into the brick exterior, the entire window job was accomplished in just one (long) day. What an improvement the backyard view is now through these large, unsegmented windows ! . The semicircular windows were finally received and installed, then the Hardie trim added and painted. Some soffit replacement was also being performed in the meantime in the backyard area, then some old rotted soffit at the front of the house was replaced. Additionally,in this area of the house there had been an unsightly discoloration on some roof shingles caused by the drip-drip of an AC water outlet from the attic - this was fixed by piping the water directly into the gutter. The soffit repair subcontractor who performed this repair then painted the piping, and the rust coloration from the original dripping was pressure-blasted, which removed nearly all of it. Then, on the other side of the house, some fascia board repair was done. . All this work was completed in 3 1/2 weeks; the subcontractors were courteous, arrived at the house at agreed-upon times and answered all the questions we had, as well in some cases describing the work they had done. JP Construction has provided a quality team of subcontractors that completed all the described projects in a professional manner. I would definitely call on JP Construction again for future home project or repair needs. .

Jon Polson was wonderful to deal with. He came out to our house, gave us a bid when he told us he would, kept us informed by e-mail when the work would be started. When the construction crew came, they immediately went to work and when they left, all was cleaned up. They were professional and took care of business without loafing. The paint crew was as good as the construction crew and professional as well. We have already recommended JP Construction to our daughter and son-in-law for painting their home. We plan to use JP Construction again and will certainly highly recommend this company to any one who needs this type of work done. We are totally pleased with all they did on our home.

I initially contacted Jon Polson, owner of JP Construction, to obtain an estimate for a roof replacement. I received three estimates on the roof replacement. He met with me, discussed the roof work to be performed and showed me examples of other roofing jobs he had performed in my neighborhood. He brought tile samples to the house and talked about the merits of different materials. Mr. Polson's roofing supervisor performed a meticulous and thorough assessment of the project and he compiled a detailed, fair, and reasonable estimate of the job. During my first meeting with Mr. Polson, I mentioned we were interested in adding a patio cover and replacing the siding on the fireplace, which was in poor condition. He related that his company also performs general carpentry and siding work and I accepted his offer to provide estimates for the additional tasks. Mr. Polson showed me examples of other patio covers he had built and discussed various options for the construction work. He worked with us to define the project to meet our esthetic and practical needs; his aim was to ensure we understood material differences and options. Mr. Polson also provided a graphic representation of the patio cover to help us visualize the completed project. His estimate was detailed as to materials and labor and the price quoted was imminently reasonable. The roof, patio cover, and chimney siding work was scheduled, implemented and completed professionally. Workers were polite and diligent and took measures to ensure that the work did not disturb the daily conduct of our lives and that of our neighbors. The site was cleaned and secured at the close of each work day. Mr. Polson visited the job site daily and spoke with us by phone about the progress of the project and details such as skylight replacement, television dish removal and reattachment. He was readily available to answer questions and discuss the project. We could not be more satisfied with our experience working with Jon Polson and JP Construction.

Excellent service and quality workmanship. We would recommend Jon to anyone. He was very responsive to our calls, completed the work in a very short time, cleaned the site completly.

Jonn Polson was quick to respond to my query for services and cheerfully met with us on a weekend to look the place over and take measurements for the bid. Jon talked to us at length about options for accomplishing the job, but what was most impressive was that he was sensitive to our budget concerns and tailored his recommendations to help us get to the end-state we desired without breaking the bank. He didn't lead us down the path of over-engineering the solution at great cost to us. We were genuinely appreciative of that. His bid was prompt, clear and comprehensive with the main job noted first and then possible options for additional work we had discussed. We had several good bids, but his definitely offered the most "bang-for-the-buck". We accepted his bid without reservation. In scheduling the job, he was very sensitive to our schedule and situation (we have dogs to manage). His crew was prompt, professional, courteous and we were very comfortable with them. They were clearly skilled craftsman and worked precisely and fast, finishing ahead of schedule. The finished product is outstanding and looks terrific. We highly recommend JP Construction and will call Jon Polson first when we have other maintenance work or construction to be done. The workers were here daily and worked with precision. Each day they would leave, they would pick-up trash, and equipment and leave the backyard clean. They finished in a reasonable time span. My fence looks absolutely beautiful and enhances the backyard tremendously. My neighbors on each side are also very pleased with the work efficiency and with the end product.
