Description of Work: Jackie took pictures of my extended family (3 married daughters and 7 grandchildren 5 yr and under; 6 of which are boys!)at the Austin capitol. She was patient with the activity level of the boys and managed to get awesome shots of individual families as well of one of all of us actually looking at the camera!! I liked her so much that I am using her for my wedding in July. :)

Description of Work: When I spoke with the service provider she was upset that she had expected the Big Deal to indicate in large letters that it was for a half price offer off her regular price. It was unclear when it said $29 for a photo shoot. I also found it difficult to find the refund request online. I have a visual impairment and it took over an hour to find the form to communicate my request.

I misunderstood the Deal when I bought it and it would have been much more expensive than I anticipated, so I got a refund from Angie's List. She was professional and friendly on the phone and I have no complaints about her.

 + -1 moreJackie came over our house to take pictures of our extended family just after Christmas. There were six adults and two children in all, three generations total. I can't say enough about how great Jackie was. Although we were a bit chaotic with a toddler a little baby and lots of adults to organize, Jackie came right in and got us organized with patience and calm. She figured out a way to make our pictures look great in our house and just outside, giving us a professional quality look I did not think could be possible at home! From the minute she got there Jackie started shooting, taking advantage of every moment. The pictures she took were excellent. Our first real family portrait in a generation with great shots of the kids with great-grandma. After the pictures were taken Jackie was EXTREMELY patient as we figured out what pictures to get and how. Unlike most private photographers, her prices are very affordable, making it feasible to purchase your favorite prints. This deal was definitely worth it and we will use JJ Photography again.

 + -1 moreFrom beginning to end it was a great experience and Jackie captured it all. It was an outdoor daytime wedding. Whether or not Jackie had anything to do with arranging the perfect weather and lighting, she made great photos that captured many happy moments. One of my favorites is of the groom with the broadest smile that expresses his boundless joy in those first few moments of being a husband.
Description of Work: JJ Photography did the wedding photos for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding, as a wedding gift. I cannot say what the cost was, but the result was priceless. Jackie photographed from beginning to end, the preparations, the ceremony and the wedding party and guests and family afterwards. Jackie made the pictures available soon after, and my daughter-in-law was able to post the huge album of wedding pictures online. I still enjoy browsing through them.
