He does not service my area,but gave me great tips on trying to fix my dishwasher myself before calling a repairman.

James provided an initial diagnostic over the phone, to determine that we had the type of dryer that is well made and may be repairable. When he arrived he tested the motor and determined it was the root cause of problem and would be too expensive to repair. A full replacement was recommended and we only paid for his trip fee. James is very courteous, knowledgeable, and honest. This is the second time I have called him, but first time he came to do work. We were very pleased with James and his service.

Mr. Beardsley responded promptly to my telephone message, provided consultation over the telephone, and resolved my problem. Based upon his advice, I made the decision to replace the dishwasher.

James did a comprehensive evaluation and recommended a replacement unit. Further, he recommended a good replacement alternative.

James was frank and professional. After determining he couldn't fix the dishwasher without parts, he got back to me and told me the cost of the repair would likely approach 2/3 to 3/4 the cost of a new machine. He said he could do the repair but realistically it wouldn't be worth it to me. I appreciated him promptly returning all my phone calls and voice mails during the process and would use him again.

It no longer makes the awful noise, and I get to postpone buying a new dryer for a bit longer.

James was very responsive every time I contacted him. He asked about the problem and provided me with a list of steps to try to isolate my problem with my ice maker and water dispenser. When the discovery moved to an area outside his expertise, he gave me an excellent referral that enabled me to solve my problem by following instructions over the phone. He is honest, upfront, and I will definitely call him again for any repairs that I need.

Mr. Beardley was great! I called other A+ rated companies on a Friday, told them my refrigerator was broken and the one that called me back (the other still hasn't returned my call) couldn't see me until middle of the next week! Mr. Beardley called me back promptly, said he considered a broken refrigerator an emergency and had me troubleshoot some things over the phone. He called me back in a couple of hours to ask if it was working and it wasn't so he made it to my home not long after that. He was communicative, prompt, courteous and straightforward. He even had a good plumbing referral for me since my hot water heater is also breaking. Geez! Sadly, my refrigerator is shot. He said he would rather fix it so it didn't end up in a landfill, but he also was not going to charge me to replace the part when getting a new fridge would be cheaper. He gave us advice on calling the city to properly recycle the fridge plus informed us the city would pay us about $50 to come take it away. I appreciate how professional Mr. Beardley was. I don't want to call him because that means something is broken, but if I need to call someone for appliance repair, he will be #1 on my list!!

Mr. Beardsley has repaired both a refrigerator motor and an oven for me. The oven was most recent (it would not heat up). He's knowledgeable and able to quickly diagnose the problem, dependable, professional and fair. I would most definitely hire him again and recommend him without reservation.

He fixed a washing machine and diagnosed a separate washing machine as not being worth fixing and referred me to a place where I could get a replacement inexpensively. On a separate occasion he looked at an oven and determined that it was not worth fixing and did not charge me for the trip. He has been very informative, friendly and reliable. I would highly recommend him. I just called him to look at another oven that a tenant has reported as not working.
