They were on time tried to install the pendants, found a problem and walked away.

For over several years, there has been a break in the wiring for the 110 volt path lights and 2 lights were not working. A workman, landscaper, whoever, caused the break, and it was ignored for too long, so I got several bids to do a repair. We were also getting estimates to replace the existing path lights with low voltace (way too expensive) as well as repairing and replacing the existing 110 volt lights (10). We opted to just repair the break, which had made 2 lights inoperable. I went to Illumitec to discuss the repair because they had provided one of the estimates for repair as well as replacing all the lights. The next week, the electrician came out and traced the wiring and tested the lines at various spots in the yard, which required digging up parts of the grass to track the wire's underground direction. He discovered the wires that had been severed and created a weatherproof temporary splice so all the lights would be working. All the grass was replaced correctly, and it is hard to tell where the repairs were made. He explained that he needed to install a junction box so the connection would meet code, and suggested I add an extra light at to junction box as the path was a bit dark in that area. I agreed and the next week he installed the box and light in a concrete mounting, and the new light matches the others perfectly.

I was not terribly happy with them. I did not discover until several months later that the light was burnt out since I never used the light. I called them twice and he said he would stop by and never did. I told them that I had done some work on a switch and I did not know if it was correct so when they put the ceiling fan on my back porch they wired it to the light on another wall. So every time you turn on the ceiling fan that light goes on. They told me it owuld take three days and it took a week and a half, it bothered me more later when I found out there were problems. It was not professional, thorough and etc.

I would rate this service as some of the best I have ever had. They called as promised and came on time. Jason Chedester, the electrician, and his assistant, Frank were professional, wasted no time, and had a great attitude. Jason was extremely knowledgeable and actually enjoyed the difficulty of the task and conditions in finding the electrical malfunctions and repairing service to the areas. They vacuumed and cleaned up nicely. They were polite and enjoyable to have on the job.

They consistently did not show up on time, marred my walls, put the wrong switch plate in and when I called to have the correct one put it, they charged me for both. I found them to be rude, in a hurry, and unresponsive.

We have a gameroom that only had one ceiling fan light for the entire room. E.T. came out and determined where the lighting should go. Jason and his helper installed 7 lights plus changed 1 existing light fixture in the the hallway to recessed lighting and it's unbelievable the difference it made in the room. They were super neat, covering anything that might get dirty from cutting into the ceiling. They also did an excellent job of cleaning up.

Two pieces of art hang over a downward staircase. The lights had to be placed in the ceiling over the staircase which meant extensive scaffolding had to be planned and executed. Lights had to be placed at just the right angle with just the right beam strength and direction. The field superintendent came and determined where the lights should go. When the lights were not just right after being installed, the field superintendent came back and worked along side the electricians (both of whom were excellent) and moved the lights so that the lighting was just perfect. There was no charge for this extra morning of work. There was also no charge to me for the sheetrock work that had to be done to cover the holes of the first placement that didn't quite work out. I always felt as the customer completely heard and honored, and Illlunitech took full responsibility for working as long as possible and in whatever way was needed to get the lights perfect and just the way I wanted them. I cannot say enough good things about their taking of responsibility and their superb customer service. Also they are experts on lighting and worked until they solved this quite difficult placement of lights to illuminate two pieces of art.

Good. They gave me an estimate beforehand and showed up on time. The work was professional and quick. Planning to hire again for kitchen remodel.

THEY WOULD SHOW UP LATE WITHOUT CALLING, OR THEY WOULDN'T SHOW UP. THEY WOULD START A JOB AND THEN MISS DATES TO COME BACK AND FINISH OR NOT FINISH THE WORK AT ALL. I'D HAVE TO CALL AND RE-SCHEDULE WHEN THEY HAD TOLD ME THEY WOULD CALL ME. THEY INSTALLED THE WRONG SWITCH PLATES, AND THEN TRIED TO CHARGE ME ANOTHER SERVICE CHARGE TO COME BACK AND FIX THEIR MISTAKE. IT WAS A BIG HASSLE TO GET THEM TO CORRECT THINGS AND THEY WERE VERY NASTY ABOUT IT. I COMPLAINED TO THEIR HOUSTON OFFICE AND NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE.
