Personalized service specializing in helping people move through transitions of living environment, professional setting/roles, lifestyle, and life's events. Woman-owned and operated. Free initial free phone consultation. Cost is determined by the job based upon client needs and goals. No travel charges if within Austin and surrounding area. May be available at times outside typical business hours, with a focus on client availability.

It was encouraging to have someone assisting who maximized my storage use. We got through a huge amount of work that I would have taken many more days to do. And felt less depressing than a normal move.
Description of Work: Helped with unpacking after move. Useful in advising how to organize especially in kitchen.

I was completely frustrated with the chaos in my office. I had tried many different methods. I now realize that I need someone who will not just organize my space; but help me establish habits and methods which will keep my space organized over time. This is a difficult and timely process. We have been working together for 2 months now and I expect I will continue working with Jean for months into the future. She is patient, very helpful, supportive and effective.
Description of Work: Jean has been working with me on organizing my files and my office. She has researched and purchased items to facilitate this process and optimize my space. She has patiently listened to how I process paper and helped me to find new and different ways to improve my clutter.

I contacted this group to organize and clean out an 80 year old wooden garage and install new storage as a gift for my husband. They came and evaluated the situation, we talked about options and we settled on a basic concept. The owner had great suggestions and creative solutions for our cramped space. They provided a bid for labor and a separate estimate for materials. The owner ordered the equipment, took care of shipping and scheduled their work, on site. They were prompt, attentive, courteous and professional. They finished on time and on budget. There were absolutely no "glitches." It was a great experience and I'd highly recommend this business to anyone.
Description of Work: This group did an excellent job on a very challenging "old garage" structure. They were prompt, professional and simply great to work with. Great ideas, suggestions and communication. Understood and respected our needs. The owner did all of the work to identify, order and install all of the storage equipment and devices and saved us from all of that "hassle". I plan to use them again and again.

Great. We have made tremendous progress. She is always on time and is a pleasure to work with. Always the consummate professional.
Description of Work: Jean has been working with me about twice a month for a year. She created a detailed plan and set to work helping get my home under control. She has counseled and gently coached me into making difficult decisions about releasing things that were in my way, clogging my space, and weighing me down emotionally. These things are better off serving someone else who will use them. She never forces, only counsels. She brings tools and expertise. We have installed shelves in closets and garage and sorted through items no longer used. She takes items to donate and delivers them for me to a charity. She has a wealth of knowledge about what things might be possible to sell, what to donate, and what to throw in the trash. She has helped me with my paper files both in deciding what to keep and how to organize them. She is always on time and is a pleasure to work with. Always the consummate professional.

Jean is a lifesaver! It was very important to me that our clutter didn't follow us to the new house and that all items of monetary or functional value found new homes. Plus she was great to work with even during during our stressful "crunch time." My only regret is that we didn't find her sooner. We had hired another organizer to "help" us when we moved into the new house with a brand-new infant and it was a total disaster. The moral of the story is, call Jean and Ideal Order!
Description of Work: Jean help us move out and prepare our old house for its new owner on a very tight deadline. She made us a detailed task schedule for the move and then helped us sort, sell, donate and move our belongings.

FACTORS INFLUENCING RECOMMENDATION OF THE ESTATE SALE COMPANY WERE 1) AVAILABILITY TO CONDUCT SALE ON CLIENT'S SPECIFIED WEEKEND, AND 2) CLIENT'S CONDENSED TIMEFRAME DUE TO "VACATE DATE" REQUIREMENTS. Jean was always accessible either by phone or email and has a very pleasant personality. It got delayed several times, due to my schedule. She was ready to jump and run when we first met and as soon as I gave her the approval to go ahead with it, she accomplished it. Despite the fact that she lives in Texas, she was able to get here on a number of occasions to plan and ultimately complete the job. Super organizer!!
Description of Work: Jean reconfigured a very challenging utility closet space in an older home. New washer and dryer were purchased which is what initiated the desire to improve the closet. This was when we made contact with her. We requested that she make the small space more efficient. We had a lot of items stored on old shelving in unattractive baskets. It always looked messy. Jean had several designs before we found one that would work. She installed Elfa shelving and used bins with covers to store the items. She enjoyed the challenge and accomplished our goal. The space is now a pleasant area in which to work.

It's really phenomenal what she did! The funny thing is, I am already organized myself. I even paid for her to fly out to California, stay here and help me sort through everything in my new home! I never envisioned going that far!
Description of Work: I relocated from Austin to California. I owned a fully furnished home and had 3 1/2 weeks in which to move. Some things were going to LA some were going to storage. She came in and helped me separate everything. She oversaw the move because I was already working. She coordinated everything from shipping, the movers to my phone lines. She helped me figure out where things should go and how to sell some things. Her role was more than an organizer; she operated as a project manager. She is both very strategic and extremely tactical and can move between the two seamlessly. While this was going on, I was living out of a hotel, so it was very stressful. Plus, all of this had to be done while my home was on the market and the interior could not be changed, as it was staged very well for a sale.

Jean came to my office and was very professional and personable. She listened to me as I described what I needed and walked me through ideas to help me achieve my goals. Jean went out of her way to come to my office at a time that was convenient for me. On her way home from my house, she stopped at a used office supply store and found exactly the right filing cabinet that I needed. She called me to come and look at it, then helped me take it home! It is perfect for what I needed and it was a chore getting it inside, but Jean helped me all the way.
Description of Work: Jean helped me organize my cubicle and my very small condominium.

Ideal Order provided their services with enthusiasm! I was overwhelmed with how to create an ''office'' out of the corner of a bedroom! I was somewhat reluctant for someone to come into my home and see my ''clutter''! Ideal Order immediately put me at ease regarding these concerns. Ideal Order was so helpful in assisting me to see new ways to redeploy the usage of my space. They went shopping with me to find the right products and furniture to meet my needs. We laughed a lot!! Ideal Order also was sensitive to my personal tastes and did not ''demand'' I do anything a certain way!They never mentioned I might take down my Christmas tree to free up more space! (OK, OK; so it was July! Ha!) I have recommended Ideal Order to others and have heard nothing but praise and gratitude for their assistance!
Description of Work: Ideal Order assisted me with my transition from an ''office-office'' to a home-office. They came to my home two days, explored options for the physical arrangement, storage, management of my available space; taking into account what work I would be doing. They also researched products, furniture, etc. and shared those with me. In addition they contacted me for follow-up on my projects.
