Very Thorough. I highly recommend him.

Garage door was 17 yrs. old. The original comes with plastic rollers and eventually wears out. The main overhead spring which holds up and moves the door was worn out, too. The tech replaced all the plastic rollers with metal ball-bearing rollers and the main spring and inspected and adjusted the door to close properly. He gave me the Angie's list discount and I was very happy with the whole process. I admit the cost was a little more than I expected---but still less than replacing the entire garage door!

The garage door opened more quietly and didn't stick as it had before.

It was an outstanding contact with Mr. Grenier. I made an appointment to have two doors installed by Hutchins. Need not ever look any further for your garage door needs. Thank you, Mr. Grenier.

The entire experience went very well. I called Rick at Hutchins Garage Doors to schedule the garage door tune-up service for our 2 garage doors. They were running a deal of $39 for each garage door tune-up. Their technician Anthony came out the next day and did a wonderful job. We just purchased the house and noticed that the garage doors weren't opening and closing properly and were jerky in their movements. That is no longer the case. In the course of calling around for quotes, I found out that Hutchins Garage Doors is owned by Cedar Park Overhead Doors. Though Cedar Park Overheard Doors was also running ads for services, their advertised prices were a bit higher, so I went with Hutchins.

I will recommend it to family and friends. My contractor was credible and knowledgeable.

This company has actually been purchased by Cedar Park Overhead Garage Doors. I called on a Monday morning and someone was out to my house within 2 hours, and the replacement of the springs was done in 30 minutes. Rusty also did a "tune-up" and informed me about the warranties. Said I was in good shape for a long time to come. Couldn't be happier with service, performance, quality and professionalism. The coupon on Angie's List is actually better for Hutchins Garage Doors than for Cedar Park Overhead Doors, 10% off all parts (not labor). Highly recommend them!

This modifies and nullifies my report submitted yesterday. Ted, the service technician called at 8am today (Saturday) to apologize for inconveniencing me on Friday, July 22nd. Indicated he would come today and perform the requested service this morning. Though I was still disappointed from the lack of communication on Friday, I realized it was a one time aberration in this companies otherwise excellent performance ratings by other customers. Ted arrived promptly as he indicated, apologized sincerely for his/the company's failure to communicate effectively. I appreciated his sincerity and he began his assessment of the garage doors. Although the doors were installed in the home during construction only 3 years ago, there were a number of issues that he quickly identified and corrected. He explained the issues and his corrective measures, even to the point of replacing track mounting screws that were of the incorrect length and loose allowing the track to move excessively during opening and closing operations. Ted documented all the work performed and even reduced the service charge to compensate for the previous days inconvenience. I will use this company again for routine or other types of service. They/Ted restored my faith in the companies willing to do the right thing to be the king of company people want to do business with. Thanks to Ted, Hutchins Garage Doors received my revised rating of A on all counts. For anyone viewing Hutchins Garage Doors for possible service call, please disregard my negative report dated 7/22/11. Angie's list has my permission to remove that report if it is permitted to do so.

They were out within 3 hours of my call. They looked it over and suggested a new door, but I declined. So, they worked for about 2 hours, and got the old one back to working.

Couldn't be happier with the service we received from Hutchins Garage Doors. I called for an appointment and spoke with a professional, pleasant gentleman who scheduled us for the very next day. In addition to giving me an estimate (which was extremely accurate) he also suggested that we replace the singular spring with two springs so if (I've learned it'll be when) the spring lets go again someday we'll at least be able to open the door manually until we are able to have it repaired. He explained the cost difference was minimal ($40) so we went with his suggestion. Derek arrived the next morning, he was knowledgable, professional and very good at his job, he was finished in under an hour. He also repaired a broken garage door cable and the trolley as some of the teeth had been stripped when the door came crashing down once the spring broke. All in all, extremely pleased with Hutchins Garage Door, would recommend them without hesitation and will call them again if ever necessary.

I called Hutchins about 8:00 am and Karl Swenson came out about noon and did an extremely professional job of installing a new garage door for me. Karl was great, and I highly recommend him to anyone needing this service.

They gave me the sale price over the phone. I scheduled the work and they came out when promised. The man who came out was actually from Cedar Park Overhead Doors, and he said they were affiliated with Hutchins. He installed the door opener and then explained how to operate it, answered all my questions, and helped me set the keypad code. Everything works very well.

I called 3 times, twice to Cedar Park doors and once to Hutchins to have someone named Dan come out and give me an estimate on putting in wood garage doors. They never bothered to respond back. Terrible service.

Rusty, the technician, called within 5 minutes of my call to Hutchins. He was at my house 10 minutes later, and the job was done within 1 hour of my original call. Amazingly fast! Rusty was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient - a great combination. Frankly it's the fastest service I've ever experienced at home - fantastic!

Jeff, the service man, arrived on time and quickly fixed the problem. After the door was leveled it had an uneven gap on the bottom because of an old crushed gasket. He didn't have a replacement on his truck and had to return the next day to complete the job. I was very pleased with his work and would recommend Hutchins Garage Doors to anyone needing this service

Excellent. I asked for an estimate and the company responded THAT DAY with an estimator coming to my house. He stressed that "service" is their # 1 priority and that proved to be true. The next day the man came to install the door and did an excellent job. Both the estimator and the installer were very knowledgeable and professional. Then that evening at 7:45pm, my husband tried to close the garage door and it would not close. We called the company half expecting no one to answer, but they did! They asked who installed it and sent that man out to our house IMMEDIATELY AT NIGHT! The problem was NOT the installation, but was that my husband, in putting some things back into the garage, had accidentally knocked a small piece of stored wood behind the door track and that was blocking the door. The wood piece was removed and the door worked fine. GREAT SERVICE and we love the look of the new door! NOTE: Hutchins and Cedar Park Overhead Doors are now owned by the same company. I used an ANGIE'S LIST COUPON for Hutchins and saved $80.32! THANK YOU ANGIE'S LIST!

We were unsure whether to replace our garage door or simply fix the broken spring on the old one, so we asked technician Larry to come prepared to to repair the old door but also to give options and an estimate for a replacement. Within 3 hours on Friday afternoon Larry brought both new springs and catalogs, and after consideration and advice we chose to replace the door. Larry promised to be back early Monday morning with our new door. On Monday he arrived right on time and had the new door installed in about 3 hours. He also replaced the hardware that supports the opener (it looks 100% better now) and adjusted the opener for us. He did a thorough cleanup before he he left. Overall we are very satisfied with the work he did and with the replacement door. We would gladly use Hutchins again.

The repairs were done in a very timely manner. Good communications throughout and no surprises.

I am very pleaseed with my new garage doors and the service I received from Hutchins Garage Doors and especially Matt. I will definitely recommend him and Hutchins to anyone who inquires. Matt is very pleasant and knowledgeable about his business and explained the procedure from start to finish,also the difference in the types of doors and what would be best suited for my area conditions. I felt very comfortable with his explanations and did not feel pressured or overwhelmed with doubletalk. Most importantly, I could always reach him on his cell phone if I had a question. P.S. If I had my own business, I would do everything in my power to get Matt to work for me.

My service from Hutchins was excellent. My automatic garage door remote controls were not working. Jeff did an assessment of my 15 year ole system and i decided to purchase a new one. Jeff installed it the following day, on time and on price consistent with the written estimate he provided. Jeff was highly professionally, he trained me on the new system and provided me with the related manuals and paper work. I recommend this company and Jeff for anyone looking for a new or repair of an overhead door system.

He was at my house before I was able to arrive and so by the time I arrived he had already looked at the door and knew exactly what the problem was. He fixed the problem and went above and beyond by oiling the tracks so that the door works better than when it was new. He was kind and professional. I really appreciated what he did for me and I will definitely call this company again.

Excellent. Larry Davis came out and completed the job very quickly and efficiently. He was a very nice young man. Personality was great. He installed a panel on one door and a new garage door opener. It took about 3 hours, being he had to remove the old door opener and reprogram the new one. Very good job.

I called over the weekend and they returned my call promptly Monday morning and came out to fix the door. The repairman was very professional and obviously experienced. I felt the trip charge was high but other than that I was very satisfied.

I was very pleased with Hutchins. Everything was above board and the cost and estimate were the same. I will use them again.

I have used Hutchins several times to repair and service overhead garage doors. They have always responded promptly. The technicians are competent and all work has been completed as expected.
