Howdy Honda

Sometimes I go to the dealer for major like 30,000-mile checkups, that kind of thing or a recall. It was a recall, so it was free. When you go in to have your auto serviced they treat you really well. They’ve got a nice waiting area with food and drinks they offer. They are very respectful. They come and give you progress reports as the work is being done. It is a very pleasant environment. They have good communication.

We purchased a 2017 Honda CR-V. This was our third vehicle purchase from Howdy Honda. Our Sales Associate was Rex Flaczynski, and he did an outstanding job. We also have our Hondas serviced at Howdy Honda. It is always a pleasure to do business there.

They are really good. They are the best I've ever used for service.

My car still runs so they are pretty reliable. Their customer services are pretty good. I have no issues with their customer service and like Angie’s List, they follow-up, get feedback, and try to improve themselves. Their price, I am beginning to have an issue with. During the inspection, they recommended some other services like air filter change and I thought the price they quoted was just way too high.

They are very good. We know lot of the guys that work there both in the front service personnel as well as mechanics so it is like sitting with friends when we go there and we get hugs and pats on the back. It is that kind of thing and honda owner so we get a discount when we go in. We wouldn't go anywhere else and they do all of the service on both of our cars. They are really good across the board. I would recommend them. I would use them in the future.

Yesterday, I took my car in for service and specifically asked for the driver's side low beam burned out bulb to be replaced. When I got home last night, I discovered it had not been replaced. I was not charged, but the tech had marked the lights as working properly. I called this morning and complained (mildly). I was invited to bring it by. I only had a few spare minutes, but I did drop by. The car was immediately taken back for service (no waiting this time!) and the work was done in only a few minutes. And, I was not charged! Not for parts, not for service. That is what I call great service, despite the overlooked item yesterday.

I had a problem with my brakes fading quickly and generally not working well. The master cylinder reservoir was low too, so I was afraid there was a leak somewhere. I set up an appointment with Howdy Honda. A spot was available right away, so I took the car in. I got a free ride home on their shuttle (quite a nice trip with several other customers). A couple of hours later, I got a phone call from them. They told me the front brake hoses were rotting and needed to be replaced. There was a problem however: The car was 14 years old at that point and neither they nor any of their suppliers in the area had them. They had to be ordered. I OK'd the work. They had the hoses overnighted from Ohio (I think it was) and they did arrive the next day. They called when the parts came in and told me that the work would begin very soon. Two hours later they called and told me the car was ready. I caught a ride there from a friend, and got my car back immediately. I thought that considering the problem and logistics involved, that the service (replaced brake lines, flushed and renewed brake system) charge was quite reasonable. Dealings in purchase of new vehicles were relatively positive, and fair. (note: I was impressed that they had a female sales manager.). Routine service went smoothly while I waited within the completion time they estimated. They made sound recommendations, e.g. that I needed new tires but no hard sell when I opted to purchase them elsewhere. I would return to this establishment.

Recall issue covered. Diagnostics gave thorough printout of all potential problems with timelines, priorities, and costs. I chose to have some safety issues done with Honda parts. Very fair service. Free ride home and pick up.

They determined that an extended emissions warranty was available for the 1996 Accord. They replaced the catalytic converter, spark plugs, plug wires, and cap/rotor at no charge. The vehicle has worked very well since then and now has about 200K on it. Our first experience with this provider was in 2001 for servicing our new 2001 Honda Odyssey for mainly preventative maintenance. They have done an excellent job historically with both vehicles, but their pricing is significantly higher than independent garages.

In a phone call they assured me that they had the part that I needed and could put in on with no problem. However, after installation I learned that it was not the right size and I had to go back for them to remove it and install the right part.

Overall experience was good, and price was okay considering all the work they ended up doing. They even washed the car for me. As I was driving away, I realized thay had circled two tiny chips in the windshield that I hadn't noticed before, but they didn't mention them. The service waiting area is very comfortable, clean and spacious. It's a nice place to have your car serviced.

They are friendly and accommodating. I have no problems with them.

They have a very nice facility, are helpful, and accomodating. Their prices are reasonable, and I have never had any trouble with the repairs that they have done.

I was able to do this in their Express Service area. There was no wait. In fact, I was the only person there. The waiting area was quiet and comfortable. The service tech was very nice. He did not try to sell me anything. They just did the work and got me out the door, which was approximately 30 minutes from driving in to driving out. I love this place!

Great people and great service. I always take my cars there for regular maintenance. They do a great job, a little pricey, but worth the piece of mind knowing it is done right! I have never had them do any extra work without calling me first and getting a verbal OK. They have never recommended work that I didn't feel needed to be done. This has not been my experience at other shops in the area. I only have Honda's so I can't comment on their work on other cars, but for your Honda there is no other shop!

Howdy Honda - Auto Service They have a really nice waiting room with coffee. Always treat me right. One time they accidently shinned off my shock absorber when putting my car on the lift. So they replaced it and loaned me a car. I don't think they charged me for that. I will always use them.

They are great but I think they are a little high on price. They are very nice.

I called a day in advance and Rick picked up the phone. He was very helpful and patient answering all my questions over the phone. I arrived just before 7am and Rick was there to greet me as I pulled up. He told me it would take 3 hours to do everything. The waiting area was very spacious with coffee, doughnuts, WiFi, TVs, and reading material. I was able to get a lot of work on my laptop using their WiFi so the time wasn't wasted. At 9:57 Rick found me and went over all the points of inspection. He said my car was in tip-top notch aside from my check engine light and the slight tire alignment (both of which I was aware of before going in and they spotted both without me mentioning them). I asked if there was anything else and he said "As much as we love to find stuff to fix, we also have to sleep at night. Your car is in great shape." He warned me that the 110,000 mile maintenance would be coming up soon and that it would be a little costlier because of the spark plugs that have to be changed out. From start to finish, great experience.

They were the only people within a 100 mile radius who had the part in stock and were able to fix-it right away. Things were excellent; it was done quickly and at a reasonable cost. Their service was also very friendly.

While sitting in the lobby the female service person was not taking any new customer, but was on her personal cell phone talking to someone in Spanish. During her conversation she was cursing in Spanish to the other person. It was a short phone call, but loud enough for me to hear. Believe me, I understand Spanish. There were two other customers in the lobby. After the car was service the car was washed. Just washed! They do not dry after the wash. If you wash it, you need to dry it. If you going to dry it, leave it be. Will I go again, sure! If that girl does her little cursing again, I will report her to her supervisor.
